Frost Mages are a class that introduces cold winter abilities into the game. They take advantage of the battlefield by slowing, freezing, and turning their enemies into sheep, allowing tanks to kite more easily. One of the few specs capable of dealing single-target, priority-target damage while providing excellent sustained AoE. Frosted Flakes are Mage's favorite cereal.

• Great cleave and consistently high AoE damage with Frozen Orb, Blizzard, and Ice Lance abilities paired with Frozen Fingers and Brain Freez procs.
• Crowd control through Frost Nova, Freeze, Frostbolt, and Polymorph.
• The defensive toolkit includes Ice Barrier, Ice Block (twice with Cold Snap),  Alter Time, Mirror Image, and Invisibility.
• High mobility with Shimmer, Alter Time, and instant cast procs.
• They provide party buffs with Arcane Intellect, increasing everyone's intelligence by 5%.

9. ELEMENTAL SHAMAN

Quake with fear

Elemental Shamans have the ability to cause earthquakes with magnitudes greater than 20 as well as lightning strikes with billions of volts. Their high single-target DPS and amazing AoE bursts, as well as the shortest interrupt cooldown in the game with Wind Shear, make them valuable for any group composition. 8. DEMONOLOGY WARLOCK

Come my minions, Rise for your master

Through their cursed tongue language, the Demonology Warlocks commands the dark forces of evil to execute their bidding. With the right setup, they can burst down a single, high-priority target and provide ultrahigh bursts of AoE damage. Warlocks got fat, so they started exorcising.

Why Demonology Warlock is Great for Mythic Dungeons:

• High burst during cooldowns such as Call Dreadstalkers, Hand of Gul'dan, Implosion, and Summon Demonic Tyrant.
• Great survivability through Dark Pact, Unending Resolve, Soul Link, and Soul Leech.
• Party utilities with Mortal Coil, Create Healthstone, Banish, Shadowfury, and Demonic Gateway, allow them to bypass certain areas of the dungeon.

7. FURY WARRIOR

Be a warrior, not a worrier

The Fury Warriors are a never-ending non-stop action show. Simply smash your face on the keyboard to perform the rotation. They deal great sustained damage and cleave, both during and outside of cooldowns, as well as respectable single-target damage. They call Warrior a bad businessman because he charges too much.

Why Fury Warrior is Great for Mythic Dungeons:

• Bursty multitarget cooldowns such as Recklessness, Baldestorm, and Whirlwind.
• Strong execute damage through Execute ability.
• High mobility due to Charge, Heroic Leap, and Intervene.
• Strong defensive toolkit with Enraged Regeneration, Ignore Pain, Spell Reflection, and Warpaint.
• Attack power boost for the group with Battle Shout, and group-wide defense boost with Rallying Cry.
• Utility-wise, besides some of the above-mentioned abilities, they have Pummel, Intimidating Shout, and Storm Bolt.

6. HAVOC DEMON HUNTER

The hunter is nothing without the hunt

The Havoc Demon Hunter is the game's most versatile spec. They can double jump, backflip, charge, and fly, and they have the appearance of demons. Isn't that cool? Havoc has high single-target damage, excellent AoE burst, and incredible self-sustainability while in demon form. Demon Hunters got tattoos before going to prison.

• Frequently usable cooldowns for Aoe Burst such as Eye Beam, Blade Dance, Immolation Aura, and Fel Barrage.
• A high single target bursts through the Metamorphosis transform.

• Highest mobility in the game with Fel Rush, Vengeful Retreat, and Glide.

5. WINDWALKER MONK

I feel an army in my fist

The Windwalker Monks enjoy Zen serenity and meditation in their spare time. They did, however, introduce martial arts into the game, making them one of the best AoE burst and cleave damage classes available. They can also switch targets without any damage loss. You can not disarm Monks because they only fight with fists.

• Windwalker’s combo of Storm, Earth, and Fire, Fists of Fury, and Spinning Crane Kick makes them one of the strongest AoE specs.
• Highest mobility with Roll, Transcendence, and Flying Serpent Kick.
• Group utility through Tiger's Lust, Ring of Peace, Leg Sweep, Paralysis, and Windwalking.
• The Mystic Touch provides a 5% increase in physical damage for the group.

4. FIRE MAGE

Too hot to handle

The Fire Mages can't stop themselves from starting a fire. Simply heat them up with as much critical strike as you can and watch the bodies burn. They excel at AoE burst damage, concentrating on priority targets while performing a side cleave. Give a mage a fire, and he'll be warm for an evening. Set a mage ablaze, and he'll be toasty for the rest of his life.

• One of the best single target and AoE bursts during the Combustion.
• Sustained AoE damage with Flamestrike and Flamepatch.
• Searing Touch provides very good execution damage. 
• One of the best defensive cooldowns such as Blazing Barrier, Cauterize, Mirror Image, Alter Time, and Ice Block.
•  The best mobility of any Mage spec with Shimmer, Alter Time, Hot Streak!, and Scorch.
• Group utility with Time Warp, Polymorph, Remove Cruse, Spellsteal, and Dragon’s Breath.
• The Arcane Intellect provides a 5% increase in intellect for the group.

3. OUTLAW ROGUE

Pillage and plunder.

The bronze medal goes to the Outlaw Rogues, who are only interested in getting paid for their dungeon work. It's no surprise that they're nicknamed "World of Warcraft pirates." Outlaw Rogues are amazing because, rather than relying on AoE-specific abilities and rotations, they can do great AoE damage by continuing with their single target rotation. Rogues wear leather armor because it's made of hide.

Why Outlaw Rogue is Great for Mythic Dungeons:

• Consistently high cleave and AoE damage with Blade Flurry.
• Great group utilities such as Shroud of Concealment, Sap, Blind, Gouge, Kidney Shot, and Cheap Shot.
• Good survivability thanks to Feint, Cloak of Shadows, Evasion, and Crimson Vial.

2. DESTRUCTION WARLOCK

Those who have power, and who are not afraid to wield it

The silver medal goes to Destruction Warlocks, whose name isn't just for aesthetic reasons, but for destroying their enemies with one of the highest uncapped AoE damage and one of the best two-target cleave damage in the game. Warlock's preferred method of transportation is the succu-bus.

Why Destruction Warlock is Great for Mythic Dungeons:

• Very high 2-target burst damage with Havoc and Chaos Bolt.
• Excellent AoE burst during  Summon Infernal, paired with Rain of Fire and Cataclysm.
• Group utilities such as Curse of Tongues, Healthstones, Soulstone as a combat resurrection, Ritual of Summoning,  and Demonic Gateway.
• Crowd control with Mortal Coil, Banish, Fear, and Shadowfury.

1. SURVIVAL HUNTER

Let the hunt begin

The golden spot goes to the Survival Hunters, who survived and overcame everything the other nine specs threw at them, or maybe it is just because of the pet. In any case, they are the best-performing hybrid spec with the most well-rounded DPS in the game, with excellent single target and AoE damage. The favorite tool of the Survival Hunter is his bear hands.

Why Survival Hunter is Great for Mythic Dungeons:

• Consistent single target and AoE damage in the combination of Wildfire Bomb, Serpent Sting, Pheromone Bomb, Kill Command, Carve, and Raptor Strike with Coordinated Assault and Resonating Arrow.
• Utility-wise, amazing abilities such as Freezing Trap, Tar Trap, Binding Shot, Intimidation, Feign Death, Tranquilizing Shot, and Misdirection.
• Good mobility thanks to Disengage, Harpoon, and Aspect of the Cheetah.
• Damage immunity and self-sustain with Aspect of the Turtle, Exhilaration, and very high leech due to Ferocity pets.
• Provides Bloodlust effect through the pet's ability Primal Rage.
