[Top 5] The Division 2 Best CC Builds

Division 2 crowd control builds
5 of the best crowd control builds for weapons in The Division 2.

Crowd control.

Everyone loves making sure they can get the heat off of their tail, and these builds accomplish just that.

The status effect stacks, the skill haste, everything about cc builds will make you glad that you started running them.

Do yourself that favor and check out some of these cc builds that The Division community have to offer.

1. CC Build for Iron Horse

This build is perfect for those who are looking to complete the Iron Horse raid.

While this build requires the pieces you receive after completing the raid, it is possible to complete the raid, with some help, and perhaps some other brand sets like Hana-U for skill haste or a Golan piece for the chest or backpack.

What This Build Excels In:

  • Survivalist is one of the best ways to run CC builds with protection from elites, skill haste while in cover, and many more perks. This will definitely come in handy when you are with your teammates.
  • Toxic Delivery with the Vile mask offers a 10% damage rebuff.
  • Your status effects for this build is through the roof, really applying burn status effects for a longer duration.
  • Four pieces of the Eclipse Protocol gives you increased Indirect Transmission with Proliferation talent.

2. Vile Jammer CC Build

This is an effective build for group PVE playing.

This build works great for marking and damaging enemies, effectively using the Hive, and you will notice the amount of damage you are hitting with this.

What This Build Excels In:

  • You will find that the disruption status effects are perfect for stunning mobs while you move in for the kill.

3. Banshee Crazy CC Build

What This Build Excels In:

  • Over 319K damage, with prolonged damage status effect with various skills. This build requires you to be quick with selecting the skills you use. You must use them efficiently.

  • The overcharge loads in this build count individually.

4. Status Effect CC Build

What can I say, this build is more of a show do not tell.

It is an incredible run with status effects, the duration of burn buffs stayed with the mobs for enough time to take them out when possible.

And with hard hitting weapons, this build is going down as one of the best cc's.

What This Build Excels In:

  • Playing with the famous FAMAS 2010, it's running with Future Perfect, with +1 skill tier for up to 15s and it stacks 3 times.
  • This build is also messing with the Eclipse Protocol gear set.
  • A combined 27s duration on skills, that is plenty of time to let the status effects hold on to enemies while you take them down yourself.

5. Pyromaniac CC Build

What This Build Excels In:

  • Eclipse Protocol reigns once again, (I see a trend catching fire), with the four piece again. You know what that means. 50% status effect, 15% skill haste, and 30% hazard protection. This armor is a beast.
  • An amplifying damage effect on status  effected targets by 15%; you hit mobs with more damage the long your status effects are.
  • This build effectively uses the Imperial Dynasty exotic holster, with the talent Dragon's Glare. The Dragon's Glare: While in combat, applies burn to the enemy closest to you within 20m. Has a 40s cooldown.
