What is playing Solo in The Division 2? 

Solo play in the division is not calling for backup, not matchmaking your missions, entirely being self sufficient in your weapons and skills to not ever needing anyone else's help.

You can play the game entirely solo if that is your playstyle. Playing Solo in The Division 2 is not a hard feat to do, but it can be very frustrating at times.

This guide is to make your journey to soloing in The Division a slightly easier feat to accomplish.

 

1. Assault Turret

The Assault Turret is easily one of the most used skills in the entire Division games. It is easy to use, has a decent health pool, decent damage, takes agro from you. It is your own personal little tank, allowing you to move around, heal or get your shots off without fear of getting hurt yourself.

 

The Assault Turret is great for Soloing because.

  • Take’s Aggro from your own person. Allowing you to move around, heal, get your shots off.
  • Does decent DPS, allowing it to be able to get its own kills.
  • A great healthpool, allowing it to also take damage, while putting it out.

Skill Description -  The Assault Turret automatically tracks and attacks hostile targets, but this behavior can be manually overridden to target a specific enemy.

2. Striker Drone

The Striker Drone is second on the list as one of the most used skills in The Division 2 and most commonly paired with The Assault Turret for Max DPS.

The Striker Drone is good for soloing because.

  • Has High DPS, allowing it to get its own kills
  • Mobility, can fly up and over obstacles that you can't, to go after enemies.
  • Having a high skill tier increases damage done to enemies.

Skill Description - The Striker Drone tracks targets and attempts to maintain line of sight while continuously firing.

3. Crusader Shield        

The Crusader Shield is third on the list as one of the great Solo Skills. Because it is a mobile skill, allowing you to have cover while still being able to use your main weapons while moving.

The Crusader Shield is good because.

  • High Defense for shields armor, allowing you to take a heap of damage.
  • Mobility, being able to move while being protected is a big game changer.
  • Allowing you to use your main weapons while being protected will always save you.

Skill Description - The Crusader Shield allows primary weapons (excluding light machine guns and marksman rifles) to be used while its equipped, but exposes the agent's legs.

  •     Shield Skill tier increases with both Defensive and Skill core attributes.
  •     Agents are briefly disorientated when shield breaks from hostile Damage

4. Reviver Hive

The Reviver Hive is number 4 on the list because when playing solo, if you do go into a downed state, it will activate and pick you back up, great for all solo builds.

The Reviver Hive is good because.

  • Self Healing when downed, always effective.
  • Refills Charges Over time
  • Revives you with Health and Armor allowing you to be in the fight immediately after it picks you up.

Skill Description - The Reviver Hive deploys small drones that revive nearby downed allies.

5. Airburst Seeker Mine

The Airburst Seeker Mines are very optimal for Solo Play and are number 5 on the list. Allowing you to throw them from behind cover to push your enemies out of cover makes them very effective.

  • Pushes enemies out of cover with explosions.
  • Rushes to locations to blow up the enemies
  • Maxes out damage when your skill tier is increased

 Skill Description - The Airburst Seeker Mine rolls towards its target, and launches an explosive burst into the air on reaching close proximity.

6. Shock trap

The Shock Trap is number 8 on the list for Solo, because of its ability to stun enemies allowing you to get your shots off while they are standing behind their cover.

The Shock Trap is good because.

  • Stuns enemies so they can't hit you back.
  • If proficient with layouts can be used to block off future reinforcements
  • Also allows you to get distance if needed to go reset your position while your enemies are stunned.

Stat Description - The Shock Trap scatters a minefield of small devices capable of shocking targets moving in their proximity.

  • Cooldown Reduced when traps expire.

The Sniper Turret is 7th on the list for Solo play due to its ability to do massive damage at once while also taking aggro.

The Sniper Turret is good because

  • Does massive amounts of damage to enemies.
  • Can take aggro from you, to get your footing back.
  • Has massive range, so it can be set further back

The Demolisher Firefly is number 8 on the list for great when solo, because it allows you to destroy an enemy or bosses armor with ease by targeting the weak points specifically.

  • Does massive damage to weak points
  • Allows you to safely toss it while not leaving your cover

Stat Description - The Demolisher FIrefly damages or destroys enemy weak points, skill proxies and environmental explosives.

  • Sidearms are more powerful than people think
  • Full body protection allowing your health to stay safe
  • Full mobile, allowing you to be a portable cover system

Stat Description - The Bulwark Shield provides near full-body coverage, but it is bulk means that only sidearms may be used while it is equipped.

  • Shield Skill Tier Increased with both Defensive and Skill core attributes

  • Allows you to see all your enemies within a certain radius
  • It pulses constantly for a set time, allowing you to have more intel on your enemies for longer.
