9.  Reptile (Arch Nemesis: Shang Tsung)

Reptile is getting ready to strike at any moment.

Reptile (otherwise known as Syzoth) is a reptilian humanoid that is from Zaterrans. He is considered an outcast in his world for his shapeshifting abilities. Having the ability to shapeshift at will catches the eye of Shang Tsung who imprisons him to learn this ability. The threat of harm to  his family keeps Reptile at bay until he learns his family is no longer among the living.

Reptile is a well rounded character and I cannot help but root for him. His shapeshifting ability is very unique. My favorite move he possesses is his Acid Spit it is so gross and I love it.

8.  Havik (Arch Nemesis: Hotaru)

Havik is a steady-handed warrior as he destroys his enemies.

Havik comes from the Orderrealm which is contradictory to his chaotic personality. As a member of Seido, he becomes unhappy with the laws there. He wants to destroy the regime and set the citizens free. 

Havik is a very strong and capable character. He rips through flesh like butter and his best move is Atomic Heart which is the ultimate brutality. Just the look of his fleshy grin will give you chills.

7. Reiko ( Arch Nemesis: Kenshi)

Reiko is a strong General in Shao’s army and is ready for a fight at any time and place.

Reiko is very strong and very brutal. He displays absolute loyalty to Shao and never falters. His ultimate goal is to become ruler of Outworld. He possesses above average strength, endurance and military training. Reiko is the perfect warrior on the battlefield.

6. Baraka (Arch Nemesis: Kung Lao)

Baraka’s toothy grin sends shivers down my spine.

Baraka is one of the deadliest fighters in all of the Mortal Kombat universe. He is cannibalistic and has the ability to regrow his arm blades after releasing them. He was a soldier in General Shao’s army. He is brutal and terrifying.

Baraka is the perfect villain and is one of the best characters in the game. His arm blades make easy work of slicing and dicing any and all enemies. His best fatality is his move with intestines.

5. Mileena (Arch Nemesis: Kitana)

Mileena possesses the beauty of a rose but is as deadly as poison.

Milleena is a hybrid clone of her counterpart Kitana. She is evil, sadistic and unhinged. Her ultimate goal is to rid the world of her “sister”. She uses her beauty to attract and her razor sharp teeth to attack. 

Mileena is my favorite character of all time. She is a skilled fighter and does not give up easily. Her best fatality is eating her opponents head starting with their brain.

4. Scorpion (Arch Nemesis: Sub-Zero)

Scorpion is back in his iconic yellow attire ready to deploy his rope darts at any moment.

Scorpion is one of the most recognized characters from Mortal Kombat. He is an undead ninja killed by none other than Sub-Zero. He dwells in the supernatural realm but is allowed back into the physical realm to exact his revenge.

Scorpion is one of the best characters to watch in action. The control he has over hisrope darts when deployed is thrillingto see. His fatality is the best in the whole game.

3. Sindel (Arch Nemesis: General Shao)

Sindel uses her long locks to rip apart her enemies.

Sindel was once a happy queen until Shao Kahn destroyed her world and took control of  her land. She is desperate not to lose everything so she betrays and kills her husband and marries Shao Kahn. In an act of mercy, he spares her daughter Kitana. This one act activated a fierce loyalty from Sindel. Her only motive now is complete loyalty to Kahn.

Her best fatality is her hair whip. It can cause a lethal amount of damage and is also stylish.  Her deafening scream fatality is a close second. Sindel is powerful and brutal that is why she has landed a spot in the top 3 best villains.

2. Shang Tsung (Arch Nemesis:Liu Kang)

Shang Tsung is the ultimate sorcerer ready to take on any opponent.

Shang Tsung is one of the primary villains in the Mortal Kombat Universe. This sorcerer is known for stealing souls to keep himself alive and healthy. His motivation is to increase his power and kill the Earthrealm warriors. He craves ultimate power and success. 

Shang Tsung has many great moves and abilities. His best fatality has to be Side Effects. It is gruesome and deadly and everything that makes Mortal Kombat great.

1. General Shao (Arch Nemesis: Raiden)

General Shao is powerful and terrifying.

General Shao is the best of the worst villains in all of Mortal Kombat. He is most often known as Shao Kahn the Konqueror. He is famous for his callous and brutal nature in combat.

Shao is extremely powerful and dedicated. This dedication has allowed him to overpower Raiden on occasion. His best fatality is Spin Cycle. It is a whirlwind of emotions.
