[Top 10] MK1 Best Havik Skins (Ranked)

Johnny had it right; this is one ugly mother—

Allow me to introduce the creator of chaos, the master of mayhem, and the man who could rival Baraka in terms of beauty: Havik! In his quest to save Seido from its strict oppressors, Havik has sided with the likes of Quan Chi and Darrius to bring chaos to all the realms.

Despite having a face only a mother can love, his design has always been unique and even more so in Mortal Kombat 1. Not only that, but Havik’s MK1 skins make the former Chaosrealmer even cooler!

#1: Entropy

Havik is the embodiment of “never let them know you next move”

Entropy in action:

Start at 0:08

Entropy just had to be the first skin to be featured on this list! This epic skin is one of Havik’s New Era skins and its palette contains red and blue. There are no specific requirements needed to obtain Entropy as you can get it from the Shrine or purchase it from the store.

Entropy refers to the lack of order or predictability of something. Look it up in the dictionary, and you might find Havik’s picture by the word. Now excuse me while I microwave a fork and ride my elephant up to the store… ENTROPY!

#2: Dairou

Wait, where’s the REAL Dairou!?

Dairou in action:

Start at 0:13

You gotta love all the attention Mortal Kombat’s 3D era is getting now in Mortal Kombat 1! Dairou, which is not only Havik’s real name, but is the name of this uncommon New Era skin with a palette of red and yellow. To unlock Dairou, you have to level up your Character Mastery.

Funny how Havik was given the name “Dairou”, because Dairou was an actual character in Mortal Kombat. This character debuted in Mortal Kombat: Deception and he was a Seidan guard before being imprisoned for murdering the person who was responsible for killing his family. After escaping his prison, Dairou found work as a mercenary, which is similar to Havik’s story in MK1 as he chose to break free of Seido’s laws.

#3: Krimson Anarchy

Don’t worry, a little chaos ain’t never hurt anybody…most of the time

Krimson Anarchy in action:

Start at 0:22

It wouldn’t be Mortal Kombat without someone’s clothes being covered with crimson, right? Krimson Anarchy is a common New Era skin for Havik, and the skin has a palette with the colors crimson and black. There are no specific requirements needed to obtain Krimson Anarchy as you can get it from the Shrine or purchase it from the store.

Havik’s ultimate mission is to free Seido from its strict government and to do that, he concluded that he would need to use the power of chaos. A realm of anarchy would be a dream come true to Havik, especially since Chaosrealm is no longer a place in the new timeline. Will Havik achieve his goal and create his own Chaosrealm?

#4: Bloodstained Revolution

“It’s me! Your chaotic sleep paralysis demon!”

Bloodstained Revolution in action:

Start at 0:39

In any revolution, blood is bound to be spilled and that’s a sad fact. So while Bloodstained Revolution may give you nightmares, this common New Era does still look amazing with its palette of violet and crimson. There are no specific requirements needed to obtain Bloostained Revolution as you can get it from the Shrine or purchase it from the store.

In Havik’s MK1 ending, he did succeed in toppling Seido’s government with Rain’s help. While the former High Mage felt terrible for his actions, Havik was incredibly pleased! Finally, the Seidan was able to bear witness to his native realm drowning in chaos just like he wanted.

#5: Determined Insurgent

A true revolutionary, this guy!

Determined Insurgent in action:

Start at 0:45

Havik sure is determined and willing to do anything to reach his goals, which would be admirable if his goals didn’t involve complete and utter chaos. Anyway, here’s one of Havik’s Union of Light skins called Determined Insurgent, which is also a common skin that has a palette with purple and white. To unlock Determined Insurgent, you have to level up your Character Mastery.

Look, I know Havik’s mission isn’t exactly…ideal for most, but he is a good example of what an insurgent is. Havik is a rebel, a revolutionist who is fighting for what he believes is a worthy cause. He is exactly the kind of person Seido’s government absolutely hates because of his chaotic and rebellious behavior.

#6: Deadly Subversion

Oh no…Havik ignored the “Don’t step on the grass” sign!

Deadly Subversion in action:

Start at 0:48

I know you hate laws, Havik, but shouldn’t there be a law that you need to wear a mask whenever you’re out in public? I’m kidding (not really), but Seido’s downfall was the result of Havik’s Deadly Subversion, which is the name of the common Union of Light skin shown above and its palette includes blue, purple, and white. To unlock Deadly Subversion, you have to level up your Character Mastery.

Subversion is the undermining of the authority of a system or institution. Jeez, this describes Havik’s character too well! Literally all Havik wants to spread chaos across the realms and live in a universe where authority doesn’t even exist.

#7: No Justice, No Peace

Define “peace” for me, Havik

No Justice, No Peace in action:

Start at 0:50

Seeing the extreme punishments Seidans would be given for the smallest of crimes, it’s no wonder Havik despises their rules. While No Justice, No Peace is an awesome quote in itself, it’s also the name of this common Union of Light skin with a palette containing red and purple. To unlock No Justice, No Peace, you have to level up your Character Mastery.

I remember watching my dad play Mortal Kombat: Deception when I was a kid, and I thought that the design of Seido was really cool! But now that I know the lengths Seido will go to keep order within the realm, including banning FREEDOM of all things, Seido is scarier to me than Chaosrealm. I mean, living within a utopia where I feel like my actions are being watched all the time is not living.

#8: Bloodreign

Let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor

Bloodreign in action:

Start at 1:02

Havik: the man who is building a world of anarchy with dead bodies as the foundation. Bloodreign is the right word for that, but it’s also the name of this next common Union of Light skin and the skin’s palette has white, red, and black for its colors. There are no specific requirements needed to obtain Bloodreign as you can get it from the Shrine or purchase it from the store.

Now I’m wondering what the state of Seido will be when Mortal Kombat 2 comes out. Their government is no more thanks to Rain, so will Havik be the new ruler of Seido? Or will the Resistance and the Seidan Guard be at war with the realm becoming nothing more than a ruthless battlefield?

#9: King of the Dead

I didn’t know Havik was a XXXTentacion fan!

King of the Dead in action:

Start at 1:10

“King of the Dead”...a fitting title for a man who looks like Death himself. But in this case, King of the Dead is one of the common skins for the Katara Vala category, and the palette for this skin contains blue and black. There are no specific requirements needed to obtain King of the Dead as you can get it from the Shrine or purchase it from the store.

I almost forgot about Katara Vala, but he was a minor character in Mortal Kombat 1, so don’t blame me! But Katara Vala is the main bad guy in Johnny Cage’s film “Templer of Katara Vala” and you even fight against him in the story mode. Not only that, but Katara Vala resembles Havik’s appearance in previous games.

#10: Keeper of the Shield

Moment of silence for my boy Adam…okay, that’s enough

Keeper of the Shield in action:

Start at 1:13

Speaking of Katara Vala, that man loves his shield more than Johnny loves himself, which is a hard feat to pull off I’m telling you! Keeper of the Shield is a common Katara Vala skin, as well as the last skin on the list, and it has a palette containing colors such as white and red. There are no specific requirements needed to obtain Keeper of the Shield as you can get it from the Shrine or purchase it from the store.

In the film “Temple of Katara Vala”, Johnny Cage plays the of the Tomb Raider and he along with his friend Adam soon confront the corpse of Katara Vala holding his shield. After defeating Katara’s minion Kalima, the duo attempt to take the corpse’s shield only to have Vala awaken and this resulted in Adam’s death. With his anger over his comrade’s demise fueling him, the Tomb Raider defeats Katara Vala by decapitating the corpse with his own shield.

Look, I know Havik has absolutely no chill, especially when it comes to kombat. But you have to admit, Havik is honest about his intentions unlike some people in Mortal Kombat (looking at you Shang Tsung), so if you decide to become friends with him, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting into! I, on the other hand, choose to admire this rebel from afar and these skins make Havik into quite the fashion icon. So, get these MK1 Havik skins today or there will be chaos!
