There’re two reasons to complete the Spiral Abyss each time it resets. First is the rewards. Between the 600 primogems and the experience for the battle pass, it’s really worth it to spend time doing it. The second reason: because it’s cool. And to be even cooler while doing the Abyss here are the best 5 teams to fight in it.

5. Kamisato Ayaka, Mona, Diona, and Sucrose

This team full of pretty ladies is a clear example of girl power. Kamisato Clan’s Princess from Inazuma, together with the bankrupt astrologist, the cat-eared bartender, and the shy alchemist, all from Mondstatd, make a deadly quartet.

To use the full power of this team you should start with Mona’s elemental burst, increasing future damage and applying Hydro. This Hydro will cause a continuous swirl with the next burst: Sucrose’s. With the enemies together and with hydro applied, both Diona and Ayaka’s burst will freeze enemies and cause continuous damage, killing all the enemies in a flash.

What Makes This Team Great :

• Good CC with both Sucrose and freezing
• Possible healing and shielding thanks to Diona 
• Big DPS with Ayaka and Mona’s and Sucrose’s enabling

4. Hu Tao, Zhongli, Albedo, and Xingqiu

Now we have 3 characters from Liyue and one from Mondstadt. Well, if I remember correctly, Albedo draws the illustrations for Xingqiu’s novel, so at least he has a friend. This team mainly uses the power of shields, Geo resonance, and vaporize reaction.

For your team to deal big damage you need to prepare the field. First Albedo’s flower will get you passive damage, Zhongli’s shield will activate the resonance, and Xingqiu’s skill or burst (it doesn’t matter) will help Hu Tao vaporize. With her Pyro infusion and their support, this team is unstoppable.

• Best shields in-game
• Self healing from Hu Tao
• Activates Geo resonance

3. Kaedehara Kazuha, Tartaglia, Xiangling, and Bennett

You can see the pattern. One DPS and three supports. Improving the DPS’s damage and dealing fast high damage is the best solution to clearing floors in the Abyss. This team completes the job spectacularly.

With Bennett burst you can improve Tartaglia’s damage, with Kazuha’s burst you can decrease the enemies’ Hydro resistance, and with Xiangling’s burst, you can cause the vaporize reaction. After that, just unleash one of Tartaglia’s bursts and destroy the whole floor.

• Nuker elemental burst from Tartaglia
• Both melee and ranged DPS
• Good enabling with the supports’ bursts
• Healing from Bennett

2. Ganyu, Venti, Mona, and Diona

Ganyu is really cute. But don’t be fooled by her innocent looks. She’s one of the best DPS in the whole game and that’s why she’s here. She and both the best CC and enablers in the game, Venti, and Mona, make a fantastic team.

This team follows the strategy from the 5th team, although the timing and damage are better by far. Mona still uses her burst to apply hydro and increase damage, Venti takes Sucrose’s place to cause secondary damage while controlling the enemies. Diona’s job is to heal and shield and all that’s left is Ganyu’s missile-like Cryo arrows.

• Best CC in-game, Venti, and freezing
• Huge DPS 
• Good enabling with Mona and Venti
• Possible healing and shielding with Diona

1. Raiden Shogun, Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Bennett

And finally the top 1. By far the best. By far the most powerful. And by far the prettiest DPS. Well, no, Ayaka is really beautiful too. And Ganyu… Well, powerful it is. Raiden Shogun only needs her supports to use her burst for her to destroy her enemies with her hidden sword.

This team is as powerful as it is easy to use. We all know Baal’s main damage comes from her burst. We also know that her burst increases the damage for every burst used before it. Then the strategy is simple. Spam Bennett, Xiangling, and Xingqiu’s bursts and use those elemental reactions and increased damage to go on a killing spree with your archon.

• Constant elemental reactions
• Huge DPS
• And when I say huge i mean HUGE

The Spiral Abyss is a never-ending challenge. It changes every month, making people continuously change their teams and strategies to fully complete all floors. Right now, these teams are crème de la crème. However, like with everything in life, this can change at any moment.
