[Top 20] Apex Legends Best Heirlooms To Have

Apex Legends Best Heirlooms To Have

20. Mirage - “Too Much Witt”

The first heirloom to talk about has to be the worst, and it's a sad one. Mirage’s heirloom means too much in the lore of the character, but honestly, the item itself is extremely lacklustre. The heirloom deals with the issues of the older items, as they have fewer animations and characters overall.

Despite being heavily related to the lore of Mirage and his story as a character, it's just not a great item. Mirage mains love it, but overall it's pretty bad when compared to others in the game. It's sad to hear about its story, but “Too Much Witt” is just Way Too Boring for an heirloom.

How to get “Too Much Witt” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

19. Gibraltar - “War Club”

Similarly to Mirage, the lore around this heirloom is fantastic, but the War Club is one of the most boring looms in the entire game. It glows hot with magma and has some truly great animations, but when compared to other heirlooms it just doesn't match up.

It suffers the perils of being an older loom with fewer animations, but it's still cool either way. Gibby mains sure to love this thing, but bruddah, it's not as good as it seems.

18. Bloodhound Skin - “Apex Hunter”

Oh god, we already have our first heirloom skin on the list, and for some, it's the worst. The idea of an heirloom skin is already kind of dumb, 150 dollars for a skin you don't even really see in the game? C'mon man, that's nuts.

At least with an actual heirloom you see it every time you put your guns away and you can inspect it, all you get with these skins is a finisher, and how much does that happen anyway? The skin does look cool, I guess, but honestly, it's disappointing.

Looking at the other skins makes this one look bad, and the Bloodhound even has better legendary skins than this heirloom rarity one. What a waste of money, I guess it looks okay though.

17. Lifeline - “Shock Sticks”

We all love a lifeline, right? The character is just loveable as hell, and she is fantastic in-game. However, her heirloom isn't the best. Yeah, it suits the character, but its lack of animations and personality drags it down.

It's cool to see her have some musical influence on her loom as she is in a band, but surely we should have more medical stuff right? Maybe when she gets a recolour and an animation refresh, it will be better. We can only hope, right?

16. Caustic - “Death Hammer”

From here on out, it's kind of hard to rank them all. Every heirloom has its place in the game, don't get me wrong, but all of these are truly great looms. Yeah, Caustic’s Loom doesn't have as many animations as recent ones, but damn does it capture his personality perfectly.

It's gassy, dark and grim all wrapped up in a cool gas hammer. It's got some great, yet limited animations, it's perfect for him. The death hammer is a good heirloom and I am sure all caustic mains love it. Hopefully, when it gets a refresh and a recolour they give it even more smelly boy goodness.

15. Crypto - “Biwon Blade”

The Biwon Blade is so badass and shows how much of a sick character Crypto is in the lore of Apex. Some assume he is just some random hacker, but Crypto is a badass agent with a freaking sword for an heirloom.

Ash didn't get a sword, but Crypto got a cool Korean-inspired blade with a freaking Rubix cube attached to the hilt. It's just so good, it's hard to describe. The colours match his base skins and his overall green theme, the banner pose is fantastic, and it's a freaking sword for god's sake, it's amazing.

How to get “Biwon Blade” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

14. Pathfinder - “Boxing Gloves”

One of the weirdest heirlooms is up next, with Pathfinder’s boxing gloves. Yeah, the large fridge-like robot has boxing gloves as his heirloom, kinda weird to be honest. The thing is though, it somehow works.

Despite having very little on the animation front, it captures his personality perfectly. Pathfinder is sort of pacifist in a sense, and these boxing gloves show that. He's not gonna kill anyone with them, and they have some goofy mechanics behind them. From springing out like Inspector Gadget to just flipping them around, the boxing gloves are pretty damn cool.

How to get “Boxing Gloves” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

13. Wattson - “Energy Reader”

When this loom was announced, it's safe to say that Wattson mains were not happy. But now that it's been out for a few years, people love it. It might not have matched her personality on first looks, but when you get into those voice lines and animations, god does it scream our French electric princess.

As an owner of this Heirloom, there's some bias here for sure, but honestly, there are many better looms than it. Despite that, it's a fantastic loom with some of the best animations in the game. Don't forget that there’s a nessy animation, we all love Nessy, right?

How to get “Energy Reader” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

12. Seer - “Showstoppers”

Seer has one of the most recent heirlooms in the game, and surprisingly enough it doesn't match him much. It's a shame as well because this loom is fantastic. The animations, the look of it and all the gear around it. It just doesn't scream Seer, you know?

Like yeah, it's a great heirloom and worth the shards, but Seer deserved better. That's why it's not higher on this list, if it was for another legend, or looked better for Seer, then it would be a different story.

How to get “Showstoppers” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

11. Wraith - “Hope’s Dusk”

The first heirloom in the game, and honestly one of the best after its animation refresh. It doesn't hold a candle to some of the other looms in the game, but god damn does Wraith’s original hit different. The sleek black look with purple effects surrounding it.

Originally it had one animation, but after its refresh it's fantastic. There are so many jokes, lore pieces and some super rare animations to boot. It's got everything a sweaty wraith main needs, even a sweatband to wipe it all off of your forehead.

How to get “Hope’s Dusk” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

10. Bloodhound - “Raven’s Bite”

Another heirloom here waiting for a refresh, but even without it, Raven’s Bite has to be one of the best. It's the power of looks here, people, as even without any real animations to boost its ranking, Raven’s bite is just that good. It's a perfect heirloom, in terms of looks.

It matches Bloodhound completely, connects deep into their lore, and just looks damn good on any skin. When this thing gets a refresh and a recolour, god damn is it gonna be in the top 5 for sure.

How to get the “Raven’s Bite” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

9. Bangalore - “Cold Steel”

Cold Steel is yet another perfect heirloom for the character it's based on, this time being Bangalore. This thing is a pilot’s knife from Titanfall and matches her lore comfortably. The blade itself has some fantastic inspect animations and its pull-out and run animations might be some of the best in the game.

It matches her skin, looks great on every map and is just godly. Bang main’s rejoice as you have one of the top ten best looms in the entire game.. Well… according to me that is.

How to get “Cold Steel” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

8. Loba - “Garra de Alanza”

Another one of the most recent heirlooms is Loba, so it has some insane animations that's for sure. Garra de Alanza was a long-awaited heirloom as Loba is one of the fan favourites in the game, I mean, who doesn't love her? Her loom is another one of the best, see what I meant earlier?

The animations are fire, it looks fantastic and the lore behind it is just perfect. She even has revenant’s head in some animations, what's better than that? It's hard to go wrong with this one, so if you're a Loba main or someone looking to purchase the loom, it's worth it.

How to get “Garra de Alanza” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

7. Octane - “Butterfly Knife”

Now this one might be a little controversial, but stay with me. Octane is one of the most played legends in the game, and because of that has a massive fan base. His heirloom is one of the most loved, but honestly, it's not all that. Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic and matches his character perfectly.

The current animations it has are great, and it's something every octane main should own. The thing is, it's in need of a refresh. Just like many of the older looms in the game, it has limited animations and voice lines attached to it. With an upgrade, damn, this would skyrocket into the top three probably. Yeah, it's that good.

How to get “Butterfly Knife” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

6. Bangalore Skin - “Apex Commander”

Here is another Heirloom skin, and it's the best by far. It didn't feel right putting a skin in the top five, so here it is at number 6. Now, some would say that Wraith’s skin should be here, or the recently added Caustic skin, but Bang’s is just better. it's a pilot outfit from Titanfall, the franchise behind Apex and what started it all.

It's a great homage, perfect for her character and backstory, and just looks sick. It's Bangalore's best skin as well, unlike Bloodhound, so it deserves a spot higher up because of that. it's not top 5 worthy, but god damn is it close enough.

How to get “Apex Commander” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

5. Wraith - “Hope’s Dawn”

This one is for all the wraith mains out there, and there are many of you. I just had to place this heirloom in the top 5, for all of you. Don't get me wrong, it deserves its place, but honestly, the next few are just better.

It's a recolour of the original “Hope’s Dusk” but with red and gold instead of black and purple. It's better than the original, by a huge margin, which is why it's at my number 5. What do you wraith mains think, should it have been higher?

How to get “Hope’s Dawn” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

4. Ash - “Strongest Link”

The most recent heirloom to the game, and a controversial one. When it was originally shown off, people didn't think it matched Ash at all. And to be honest, even now it doesn't match her as well as other looms match their owners.

The nunchucks are fantastic though, and only really have a small connection to Ash in the lore thanks to Horizon’s long-lost son. Despite not having much of a connection to Ash or her past, the animations are perfect. Out of all the looms in the game currently, it might have the best animations. Its inspect, movement, crouching and melee animations are just godly to witness.

It moves around so much and doesn't rely on inspect spam to get your money’s worth. The Strongest Link is one of the strongest looms in the game.

How to get “Strongest Link” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

3. Rampart - “Problem Solver”

The top three, and this one is controversial. I know people don't love Rampart as a legend. Disregarding her personality and character, people don't like Sheila or her walls. Some people camp with her, but most Rampart mains, i included, play her correctly. Either way, she's a controversial character. However, her heirloom negates all of that.

Personality is the biggest selling point of an heirloom, and even the biggest Rampart haters will say that her loom encapsulates her personality perfectly. The wrench makes sense for her mechanical role in the Apex lore, the animations and voice lines match her character and her story. It's literally perfect. All that's needed now is a little refresh and a recolour, and it might be the best overall.

How to get “Problem Solver” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

2. Valkyrie - “Suzaku”

Valk is one of the best legends in the game, and her heirloom came quickly because of her popularity. Despite it being a quickly released loom after her original launch, it's one of the best. Oh my god, Suzaku is perfect. It's a spear for one, which makes sense thanks to her Valkyrie name, and the lore behind it is fantastic.

It's got so many connections to Titanfall 2’s Viper, her father and of course her lineage. From eating ramen to pulling up her dad’s helmet, this heirloom is perfection. it's also super unique as no other loom is held in the same way as Valk’s.

The biggest thing as well is that it's hard to miss, it's massive on her model, so everyone knows you have the second-best loom in the game.

How to get “Suzaku” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.

1.Revenant - “Dead Man’s Curse”

And here we are, the best Heirloom in the game, and it's Revenant’s Dead Man’s Curse of course. Now, Revenant might not be the most played character in the game, but his Heirloom is perfection. I know I've said the others are perfect, but it's hard to beat Revenant’s Scythe.

It's literally perfect for his character, matches his lore and looks fantastic in the game. it's also imposing on the enemy. Have you had a revenant run at you with his loom out? Yeah, it's scary as hell. Dead Man’s Curse is the best loom in the game, there’s no debate.

Horizon’s Loom is next in the files, but could it beat Revenant as the best one? I guess we will have to wait and see.

How to get “Dead Man’s Curse” - Currently the only way to get this item is to either pull heirloom shards from an Apex pack, or purchase Heirloom shards from a specific collection event.
