American planes are very versatile in terms of durability and gameplay, if you want to use them for boom and zoom tactics, then they are most definitely for you, perhaps you fancy bombing, then hell yeah, they are for you!

But this time, I’ll talk about the best T3 fighters. These planes basically are designed for dogfighting, destroying ground targets and being on top of the scoreboard thanks to them - without further blabbing, let’s start with the first plane!

3. P-63A-10 Kingcobra

Bomber-hunter!

You’re probably wondering why this plane is named Kingcobra. Well, because it’s a malicious bastard - its powerful 37mm cannons can obliterate bombers to bits and are perfect for surprise attacks. If dogfighting though is not your thing, this plane can also carry bombs up to 1500 pounds and focus on bunkers, bases and other ground targets!

Why this plane is amazing:

• 37mm cannons that destroy everything
• Plenty of deployable bombs, use them if your team can’t be arsed to play the objective
• Awesome dive speed, don’t have to worry about wings disintegrating at higher speeds

2. P-47D-25 Thunderbolt

Another dope plane!

This plane has excellent diving speed and it’s probably the best plane for boom and zoom tactics in the third tier. It has incredible speed in general, performing surprisingly well even above 6,000 meters. Multiple M2 Brownings are another gems that this plane has to offer, supplying you with impressive firepower. Like the previous plane, this one is also stacked with plenty of bombs that can be dropped on convoys and other ground targets.

Why this plane is incredible:

• Access to rockets&bombs at the same time
• The best plane in T3 for boom and zoom tactics, make sure to dump your payload somewhere
• x8 M2 Browning machine guns, RIP to anyone who decides to be in front of you

1. P-47D-28 Thunderbolt

Another P-47 family plane, cuz why not!

So what makes this plane awesome? It’s kinda similar to its predecessor, there are some minor differences that make it better, though. One of them is the combat flaps with high rip speed that can withstand 500 km/h. It’s equipped with more HVAR rockets+bombs that are best used for ground targets, aka bases, convoys, bunkers, and yadi-yada. Planes from the P-47 family are incredible for playing the objective and ensuring the victory for your team, when nobody wants to play the goddamn objective!

Why this plane is awesome:

• Equipped with HVAR rockets, perfect for ground targets
• Bombs as decent, capable of taking out heavily fortified targets, such as bunkers
• Again, the M2 Browings have to be mentioned once more - they’re accurate and deadly at all distances!
