[Top 3] TFT Best Ekko Builds That Are Powerful

Best Ekko Builds in TFT
This is the longest second of my life.

The time controller boy, Ekko, is in TFT with his stop watch to take out his enemies in no time.

Ekko dashes to his targets, healing tons of health and dealing a lot of damage to them.

In this article, we will mention the combos to place Ekko in, his best items, and how to make sure you take out your enemies.

The timeline was already this broken when I found it. I swear.

Ekko is a great pick in the early rounds as he can sustain a lot of damage on the frontlines while dealing tons more.

Ekko’s stats, traits, and items are all to be discussed down below to make sure you get the best outcome from placing him within your team.

Best Ekko builds in TFT Set 9

Ekko’s stats:

  • Cost: 3 Gold
  • Health: 800 / 1440 / 2592
  • Mana: 45
  • Armor: 40
  • MR: 40
  • Ability Power: 100
  • DPS: 40 / 72 / 130
  • Damage: 50 / 90 / 162
  • Atk Spd: 0.8
  • Crit Rate: 25%
  • Range: 1

Ekko’s traits:

1. Piltover

Gain the T-Hex. Every time you lose a player combat, the T-Hex gains Charges. Winning converts the Charges to Power for the T-Hex.

You may also sell the T-Hex if it has any Power, resetting the T-Hex and converting its Power to loot.

  • 3 Gain the T-Hex.
  • 6 Gain bonus loot every round. Each loss counts as 2 losses instead.

2. Zaun

Zaun champions create random chem-mods that only they can use. Champions can be modded once, and mods can only be removed by selling the champion.

  • 2 Gain 1 chem-mod
  • 4 Gain 2 chem-mods
  • 6 Gain 3 chem-mods and Overcharge them

3. Rogue

  • 2 When a Rogue falls below 50% Health, they briefly become untargetable and dash to an enemy within 4 hexes (preferring enemy backline).
  • 4 Additionally, a Rogue's first attack on an enemy bleeds them for 40% of their max Health as magic damage over 5 seconds.

Ekko’s ability

 Phase Dive

Heal 20% of damage taken in the last 4 seconds and deal magic damage to the current target.

  • Damage: 290% / 435% / 710%

Carousel priority:

These are the components you would need to focus on since the very first circle in order as you will need them to build up the required items for the team in most of the comps you will find bellow:

Ekko’s best items

1. Hand of Justice

Grant 2 effects:

  • 15% Attack Damage and 15 Ability Power.
  • 15% Omnivamp.

Each round, randomly double 1 of these effects.

2. Ionic Spark

50% Shred enemies within 2 hexes. When enemies cast an Ability, they are also zapped for magic damage equal to 160% of their maximum Mana.

3. Jeweled Gauntlet

Grant 15 bonus Ability Power and 15% Critical Strike Chance.

Damage from an Ability can critically strike.

Best comps for Ekko

3. GUNOVER

Synergies:

  • 3 Piltover
  • 1 Technogenius
  • 4 Zaun
  • 4 Gunner
  • 1 Redemption

This comp is all about the T-Rex, so make sure you keep losing until the T-Rex has 30-45 charges, and then win a round to upgrade him.

If you want the bruiser trait to work, you can place Vi instead of Heimerdinger.

Best team to build this:

1. Zeri does most of the damage because she has the traits of both a gunner and a Zaun.

2. Jayce is one of the most important choices because he has the same trait as the gunner and the Piltover, which would call the T-Rex.

3. Heimerdinger will do a lot of damage from the backlines while summoning both the turret as a Technogenius and the T-Rex as a Piltover member.

4. Senna will add to the gunner trait by giving the team a shield and making it faster to attack.

5. Jinx is the fourth gunner. He does a lot of damage from behind the lines and has the same trait as Zaun.

6. Urgot is the third member of Zaun. He does good damage and can take a lot more.

7. Ekko is the third Piltover member to call on the T-Rex and the fourth Zaun member to take a lot of damage in the front lines.

8. Sejuani is a great pick for the front lines because she can take a lot of damage.

2. COLD KILLS

Synergies:

  • 4 Rogue
  • 3 Frejlord
  • 2 Zaun
  • 2 Deadeye

This is a fast reroll to level 8 with a strong economy that lets you get all of your champions with a cost between 2 and 3 to level 3 and focus on Katarina.

This comp is all about using assassins with the "rogue" trait or more to kill your enemies' backlines.

This comp's best build:

1. Katarina does most of the damage in this comp. She has the Rogue trait, which makes her an assassin if her health falls below 50%.

2. Lissandra is a good choice because she can stun enemies, giving the rogues more time to do the damage they need to do.

3. Sejuani is one of the best tanks in TFT right now because she can take a lot of damage and stun a lot of people at once.

4. Since Urgot has both the Zaun and deadeye traits, he can deal a lot of damage and take a lot more.

5. As a rogue, Zed can do a lot of damage.

6. Viego is your third member who has gone bad with the rogue trait.

7. Ekko is a great choice because he is both Zaun and rogue, which means he can heal himself and do a lot of damage.

8. Ashe is a very important pick because she has both the deadeye and the frejlord.

1. GUNS BEHIND WALLS

Synergies:

  • 4 Gunner
  • 4 Zaun
  • 2 Bruiser

This comp is built around the Zaun and Gunner traits and expensive champions, so make sure you can quickly reroll to level 8 and have a strong economy to get them to level 2 at least.

Best team to build this:

1. Zeri does most of the damage because she has the traits of both a gunner and a Zaun.

2. Jayce is one of the most important picks because he shares the gunner and gives his teammates extra attack speed.

3. The second bruiser is Sion, who is a big tank in the front lines and can take a lot of damage.

4. Tristana is a great choice as the third gunner, but you can also switch her out for Senna if you need to.

5. Jinx is the fourth gunner. He does a lot of damage from behind the lines and has the same trait as Zaun.

6. Urgot is the third member of Zaun. He does good damage and can take a lot more.

7. Ekko is the fourth Zaun soldier to get hurt a lot on the front lines.

8. Sejuani is a great choice because, like Sion, she is a bruiser and can take a lot of damage in the front lines.
