6-Alex

One of the best ways to increase heart levels is by giving gifts on his birthday on Fall 4 as it will have an 8× effect and show a unique dialogue. His loved items are a bit difficult to acquire early on in the game, but no fear; he still enjoys all of the Universal likes, such as flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

During Spring, Summer, and Fall, players must first acquire two friendship hearts with Elliott before being allowed inside his cabin. Players at any friendship level may enter during the Winter between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. This is good to keep in mind for gifting because his schedule is a little hard to remember as he often goes to different places in the valley.

Shane lives with his aunt Marnie on her ranch with his goddaughter Jas, where he rents a room and helps out by taking care of the chickens. When players first meet him, Shane is closed-off and rude, seems to be suffering from depression, and is often seen drinking heavily. Over time, though, as players try to befriend him, he starts to change and open up, revealing his troubles and eventually going through some character development.

His usual schedule consists of leaving his house early to work at JojaMart from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the evening, where he then spends the rest of the night drinking at the Stardrop Saloon. He is one of the characters whose schedule gets affected depending on how the player chooses to play the game, either by completing the Community Center or working with JojaMart.

One of the best ways to increase heart levels is by giving gifts on his birthday in Spring 20, as it will have an 8× effect and show a unique dialogue. Shane is one of the easiest bachelors to gift, as Pizza and Eggs can be easily acquired. Seeing as he is usually found at the Stardrop Saloon, Pizza can be bought for him there, and if players have a chicken farm, they can set aside some eggs to gift to him.

• He is one of the older bachelors in town, as revealed in Secret Note #7.
• Judging by the 'Mega Station' console in Shane's bedroom, he is a gamer. He used to play for his high school’s varsity grid ball team and must love his team a lot as he always wears the jersey except at work and during the Flower Dance.

Sam is an outgoing and energetic young man with a passion for music and playing the guitar. He works part-time at JojaMart. Sam is another character whose schedule gets affected depending on how the player chooses to play the game, as he works part-time at JojaMart on Mondays and Wednesdays.

One of the best ways to increase heart levels is by giving gifts on his birthday on Summer 17, as it will have an 8× effect and show a unique dialogue. He particularly likes Joja Cola and is the only villager to enjoy it.    

Sam Review:

• He hopes to start a band with his friends as soon as he has enough songs and is often seen practicing with Sebastian.
• Once married, Sam will set up a half-pipe behind the farmhouse where he'll sometimes go to practice his skateboarding tricks.

1-Sebastian

Sebastian shares a home in the Mountains with his mother Robin, stepfather Demetrius, and half-sister Maru. He has a little "emo" disposition, prefers darkness to light, and shows interest in things that most people would find spooky. He regularly muses on topics like death, the meaning of life, and other philosophical topics. It has been suggested that he may experience social depression and anxiety. Both Sebastian and Sam, his best buddy, are a little rebellious, albeit Sebastian is a little more subdued about it.

He likes to read books and graphic novels, program video games, and participate in tabletop role-playing games. He has a passion for science fiction and fantasy. He appears to maintain his motorcycle on a semi-regular basis. He also owns a motorcycle. As a freelance programmer, Sebastian complains that others don't take him seriously. He is unhappy in the valley and longs to move to the metropolis at some point.
