You go to Pierre’s shop and scan the new items… there are so many! How will you know which ones are best to plant and give you the best profit?! 

Worry not, I’m here to help you! Here are the Top 10 best autumn crops that are excellent:

10. Wheat

Wheat is a great autumn crop.

Wheat is a multi-seasonal crop, meaning that it doesn’t only grow in Fall, it also grows in Summer. You can buy it for 20g and sell it for 25g (Base Quality) and up to 50g (Iridium Quality).

Why Wheat is great:

• It grows in Summer and Fall.
• It’s cheap and you can make a profit by selling it.
• You get 6 Farming XP.

Wheat details:

• It grows in 4 days.
• Can be made into Beer and Wheat Flour and then sold.
• It’s a multi-seasonal crop.

9. Grape

Grape is a great autumn crop.

Grapes are a very versatile Fall crop that you can not only harvest but also forage. You can find them in Summer and Fall, making them a multi-seasonal crop. They can be bought for 60g and sold for 80g (Base Quality) and up to 160g (Iridium Quality).

Why Grape is great:

• It grows fast and you can get it in Summer and Fall.
• You can get 14 XP for Farming and 7 XP for Foraging.
• You can give it as a gift or use it in a Bundle.

Grape Details:

• Grows in 7 to 10 days, depending on the season, and keeps producing after the first harvest.
• You can make wine or pickle them.
• You can get them from Summer Seeds in Summer and Grape Starter in Fall.

8. Eggplant

Eggplant is a great autumn crop.

This is a Fall crop that only grows in Fall, and is harvested not only to be sold but also to be used in Bundles and Recipes. You can buy it for 20g and sell it for 60g (Base Quality) and up to 120g (Iridium Quality).

Why Eggplant is great:

• It grows fast and you can make a profit.
• It gives you 12 Farming XP.
• You can get 20 Energy and 9 Health (Base Quality) and up to 52 Energy and 23 Health (Iridium Quality) when eating it.

Eggplant details:

• It takes 5 days to mature.
• You can use it in the Fall Crops Bundle, Eggplant Parmesan, and Survival Burger.
• You can make wine or pickle it.

7. Amaranth

Amaranth is a great autumn crop.

Amaranth is an interesting Fall crop that can only be harvested by Scythe. It costs 70g, but you can sell it for 150g (Base Quality) or up to 300g (Iridium Quality).

Why Amaranth is great:

• Although it is pretty expensive, you can make a great profit off of it.
• It gives you 50 Energy and 22 Health (Base Quality) and up to 130 Energy and 58 Health (Iridium Quality).
• It gives you 21 Farming XP.

Amaranth details:

• You can only harvest it with a Scythe.
• It grows in 7 days.
• You can use it to make Salmon Dinner, Wine, or Pickled Amaranth.

6. Bok Choy

Bok Choy is a great autumn crop.

Bok Choy is a Fall crop that grows fast and gives you great profit. It’s used in a Recipe and you can give it as a Gift, although none of the characters love it. You can buy it for 50g and sell it for 80g (Base Quality) and up to 160g (Iridium Quality).

Why Bok Choy is great:

• It grows fast and you can make a profit off of it.
• It gives you 14 Farming XP.
• It gives you 25 Energy and 11 Health (Base Quality) and up to 65 Energy and 29 Health (Iridium Quality).

Bok Choy details:

• It takes 4 days to mature.
• You can use it to make Super Meal.
• You can make wine and pickle it.

5. Beet

Beet is a great autumn crop.

Beet is a vegetable crop that can be purchased only from the Oasis, for 20g, and can be sold for 100g (Base Quality) and up to 200g (Iridium Quality). You can give it as a gift, use it in Recipes or for Quests.

Why Beet is great:

• It’s cheap to buy and you make a great profit by selling it.
• It gives you 16 Farming XP.
• It gives you 30 Energy and 13 Health (Base Quality) and up to 78 Energy and 35 Health (Iridium Quality). 

Beet details:

• It takes 6 days to grow.
• You can give it to Evelyn as a Loved Gift, use it on the Bulletin Board, and make Vegetable Medley or Sugar.
• You can only buy it from the Oasis.

4. Yam

Yam is a great autumn crop.

Yam is a crop that only grows in Fall and could be considered a potato substitute. You can buy it for 60g and sell it for 160g (Base Quality) and up to 320g (Iridium Quality). 

Why Yam is great:

• It grows fast and you can make a profit.
• It gives you 22 Farming XP.
• It gives you 45 Energy and 20 Health (Base Quality) and up to 117 Energy and 52 Health (Iridium Quality).

Yam details:

• It takes 10 days to grow.
• You can give it as a Loved Gift to Linus, use it in the Fall Crops Bundle, or make Autumn’s Bounty and Glazed Yams.
• It has a 3% chance of dropping from Duggies.

3. Artichoke

Artichoke is a great autumn crop.

Artichoke is a crop that you can only get starting from Year 2. It costs 30g and you can sell it for 160g (Base Quality) and up to 320g (Iridium Quality).

Why Artichoke is great:

• It gives you 22 Farming XP.
• It gives you 30 Energy and 13 Health (Base Quality) and up to 78 Energy and 35 Health (Iridium Quality).
• It grows fast and you can make a profit.

Artichoke details:

• It takes 8 days to grow.
• You can use it in Artichoke Dip and Super Meal.
• You can acquire it starting from Year 2.

2. Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a great autumn crop.

Pumpkin is one of the few crops that can turn into Giant Crops. You can buy it for 100g and sell it for 320g (Base Quality) and 640g (Iridium Quality).

• It can grow into a Giant Crop.

Sweet Gem Berry can be bought only from the Travelling Cart, for 600-1000g, and you can sell it for 3000g (Base Quality) and up to 6000g (Iridium Quality).

Why Sweet Gem Berry is great:

• Although it’s expensive, you can make a great profit off it.
• It gives you 64 Farming XP.
• You can buy It in any season.

Sweet Gem Berry details:

• It’s a Neutral Gift.
• It’s used in the Rare Crops Bundle and as a Neutral Gift to all characters.
• If given one to Old Master Cannoli in the Secret Woods, you can get a Stardrop in return.
