Carnage Powers and Abilities
Carnage Overview
Now. Here is a dangerous foe that’s comfortably within the Marvel Universe. Cletus Kasady/Carnage is one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous enemies and one who’s defeated him on countless occasions. He’s essentially a ramped-up version of Venom with Spider-Man’s abilities turned up to the max. He’s stronger, faster and this dude can take more damage. On top of that…he’s a straight-up crazy person, who will dispatch just about anyone. Simply put…he’s a damn serial killer as a Super Villain.
Carnage Powers and Abilities
- Enhanced Symbiotic Abilities
- Damaging Imitation Webbing
- Shape-Shifting
- Sporadic Weapon Generation
- The Sociopathic Mind of Cletus Kasady
How the Battle Would Go Down
So…this fight has been done before and it’s been done on numerous occasions. It’s always brutal and it’s always entertaining. Both contenders are well rounded, and both have proven to be at the top of their respective factions. But…looking at the history between these two…it’s a Carnage wins hand’s down.
Spider-Man and Carnage have met on countless occasions, through the pages of the comics and the minutes of a cartoon. Each time Carnage proved to be a huge threat to The Web-Slinger. Everything about the sociopath’s powers are heightened, he’s stronger, more durable and his powers are just better overall. Carnage can shapeshift, go invisible, and manufacture weapons from his body. It also doesn’t help that the operator of Carnage is none other than 100% Sociopath Cletus Kasady. Kasady was a deranged lunatic before he became Carnage, and his damaged mindset is what makes him so dangerous. He’s a very serious threat, and easily one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous foes.
Spider-Man still has a lot going for him. He’s encountered some of the best heroes and villains and emerged victorious. He’s even beaten superheroes and serial killers in a hypothetical sense (yeah…I’m plugging my old articles). Spider-Man would prove to be a dangerous adversary for Carnage, but he’s also proven that he can’t beat him alone. Carnage is essentially Spider-Man and Venom with the volume tuned up to the max, he’s extremely dangerous.
Every time Spidey’s dealt with Carnage alone he’s lost. Carnage is just far too dangerous and insane. Spidey could try to outsmart him but even his intelligence can’t get him a win. Spider-Man has had to turn to the likes of Venom, Mr. Fantastic, and even Batman to defeat Carnage and even then The Red Slayer proved to be difficult. In a one on one bout, this is a brutal and agonizing loss for Spider-Man.
This is a Carnage win through and through. He’s too insane, too powerful, and too tough for Everyone’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
And The Winner Is…
Carnage. This is an easy win for the lunatic. He’s far too crazy, far too strong, and far too durable for Spider-Man to take on in a single hand to hand fight.
