[Top 10] Metro Exodus Best Loadouts That Are Excellent

Have fun.

In Metro Exodus, you have 3 weapon slots in total - in the first 2 slots you have the freedom of choosing whichever weapon you desire but in the last third spot, you will only be able to carry a Tikhar. It means that you can carry 2 revolvers with different customizations if that’s your cup of tea, a revolver with a Kalashnikov - you get the idea.

And that’s exactly what I’ll be talking about today in this article. Best loadouts in Metro exodus, explain why they’re good&you should try them. Anyways, let’s start:

10. The Arthur Morgan

Really?

It's more of an entertaining build than an efficient one. Throughout the game, you carry two revolvers that you can personalize whatever you choose while LARPing as Arthur Morgan.

Will it increase the game's enjoyment? For me, it worked. Will it become much more difficult? Possibly, depending on the level of difficulty you'll be playing at. Remember that in this game, a revolver headshot is the most pleasurable way to kill someone.

Details of the first weapon:

  • Weapon 1: Revolver
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Sights: Reflex Sight
  • Magazine: 8-shot cylinder
  • Gadgets: NO LASERS, THEY SUCK

Details of the second weapon:

Weapon 2: Ashot

  • Barrel: Four barrels
  • Stock: Heavy grip
  • Sights: Reflex sight
  • Gadgets: none

Why is this loadout awesome:

  • The revolver can be equipped with an 8-shot cylinder, which improves your odds of survival if you’re outnumbered
  • The long barrel of the revolver is useful in medium to long distances
  • Ashot is excellent in close combat
  • Ashot can also be equipped with 4 barrels, you can fire them separately or at once
  • Overall, this build will test your skills in terms of accuracy!

9. The Broke Build

Low-budget build!

The Bastard gun, commonly referred to as the Sobaka gun, is one of the most well-known weapons in the Metro series. a weapon that is easy to build and is very well-liked by communists and thieves. When fired in short bursts, it deals middling damage and is accurate, but when fired fully automatic, it jams frequently and is unreliable.

Of course, the revolver must be mentioned as the other secondary weapon because it is accessible, effective, and dependable. You should be fine if you choose your shots properly.

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Bastard

  • Barrel: Heavy barrel
  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Sights: Closed reflex sight
  • Magazine: 30-round magazine
  • Gadgets: None

Details of the second weapon:

Weapon 2: Revolver

  • Barrel: 6-shot cylinder
  • Stock: Light grip
  • Sights: Iron sights
  • Gadgets: none

Why this broke build is awesome and you totally shouldn’t feel ashamed for using it:

  • Sobaka is trash but an eternal weapon
  • If you’re a true communist, you’ll be using this weapon
  • Sobaczka deals medium damage and has a high rate of fire
  • The revolver can be found pretty much everywhere
  • Also, the revolver is pretty much a death sentence to anyone who is close to you

8. The Standard

Old but gold.

This build on the other hand is pretty much the same build that you’ve tried in the previous Metro games - a revolver+Kalash. The revolver is meant as a secondary weapon in times of emergency and the good old Kalash is there to use against multiple enemies, from medium to long distances - depending on your customizations.

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Revolver

  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Sights: X4 scope
  • Magazine: 6-shot cylinder
  • Gadgets: None

Details of the second weapon:

Weapon 2: Kalash

  • Barrel: Standard barrel and compensator
  • Stock: Heavy stock and grip
  • Sights: Reflex sight
  • Magazine: 45-mag
  • Gadgets: none

Why this loadout rocks:

  • The revolver is the last resort weapon and deals plenty of damage
  • The revolver can be modified into a sniper or a normal handgun
  • The Kalash can be equipped with multiple magazines(30,45,60, etc)
  • Kalash can also be turned into a semi-sniper weapon
  • Overall, a fun build. I used to do this build in every Metro game!

7. The Rambo

Not a stealthy build.

The Rambo is around obtaining a weapon with big magazines and using them to shoot unfortunate people or other creatures who dare to confront you. No need to worry about reloading your guns, though depending on the difficulty you're playing, finding ammunition may prove challenging.

Additionally, several of your weapons can be equipped with incendiary ammo, which delivers significantly more damage and hairy monsters that you’ll encounter will be especially triggered after you give ‘em some fire treatment!

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Sammy

  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Sights: Reflex sight
  • Magazine: 100-round magazine
  • Mechanism: Automatic system

Details of the second weapon:

Weapon 2: Kalash

  • Barrel: Standard barrel and compensator
  • Stock: Heavy stock and grip
  • Sights: Reflex sight
  • Magazine: 75-round mag
  • Gadgets: none

Why this loadout is awesome:

  • Both weapons have plenty of ammunition
  • You can stand your ground against hordes/platoons of humans
  • Lack of constant reloading
  • Incendiary ammunition goes well with large magazine weapons
  • Fun to play build!

6. Sniper boy

Gun goes pew-pew.

This loadout is more suited to sniping enthusiasts. Not every time in Metro Exodus will you have the chance to snipe from a great distance. Even so, it's incredibly thrilling to land headshots on unaware adversaries. Ambushing your rivals also provides you an edge, however you risk getting in trouble if they get too near.

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Valve

  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Barrel: Long barrel
  • Sights: X6 Scope
  • Magazine: Single-column magazine

Details of the second weapon:

Weapon 2: Stallion

  • Barrel: Long barrel with full auto
  • Stock: Heavy grip
  • Sights: Reflex sight
  • Magazine: High-capacity magazine
  • Gadgets: none

Why this build is awesome:

  • Valve is a powerful sniper rifle - can instakill pretty much anything
  • Useful build for picking off targets from afar
  • The Stallion can be used for last-resort combat
  • But also for offensive gameplay, if sniping is impossible
  • This build can be useful if you’re aware of your surroundings 24/7

5. The Baby Eater

Does the pooch bite?

Bulldog is the name of a weapon in this build, not the dog, but an automatic assault rifle. It's basically a Kalash on steroids, largely because it delivers a little bit more damage, is accurate, and has manageable recoil. Although this weapon's attachments and spare parts are difficult to come by, it is still a trustworthy weapon.

And when it comes to the secondary weapon, we’re gonna talk about the good old Ashot - it’s a… revolver… shotgun… I don’t know, some hybrid of those two. I guess. It's ideal for close battles because it will destroy everything nearby!

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Bulldog

  • Barrel: Long barrel and compensator
  • Stock: Heavy stock and grip
  • Sights: Reflex Sight
  • Magazine: 30-round magazine
  • Gadgets: None

Details of the second weapon:

Weapon 2: Ashot

  • Barrel: Double barrels
  • Stock: Heavy grip
  • Sights: Reflex sight
  • Gadgets: none

Why this loadout is dope:

  • Accurate main rifle
  • Deals more damage than the Kalash
  • Recoil is far easier to control than in other rifles
  • Ashot on the other hand can be effective in close-medium distances
  • You pick this build if you have the patience of looking for spare parts/upgrades!

4. The Disemboweler

A SINISTER NAME!

And with good reason. The semi-automatic shotgun known as the Uboinik can destroy anything in front of it. It can quickly change the tide and is especially lethal when used against opponents who are lined up. Despite the fact that shotguns are typically used for close-quarters fighting, Uboinik is also potent at medium ranges. An excellent option of a weapon for people who desire to engage in fierce combat!

Of course, Uboinik is a brute weapon and it won’t always win you the fight. You can always equip yourself with a fully automatic stallion that will be nearly as deadly as the Uboinik!

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Uboinik

  • Barrel: Standard barrel and duckbill choke
  • Stock: Heavy stock and grip
  • Sights: Closed reflex sight
  • Magazine: Box magazine
  • Gadgets: None

Details of the second weapon:

Weapon 2: Stallion

  • Barrel: Long barrel with full auto
  • Stock: Heavy grip
  • Sights: Closed reflex sight
  • Gadgets: none

Why this build is cool:

  • Both weapons are devastating at close range
  • Surprisingly, they are effective at medium distances as well
  • Uboinik is equipped with a box magazine, which fits 20 shells in total
  • The Uboinik is especially deadly in cramped spaces with a lot of people lined up
  • Perfect weapons for brutes!

3. That Tacticool Guy

Oh god.

This build is for folks who like weapons that have lasers and other technology that some people might find cool but makes other people cringe. In any case, this build is great for moving covertly, taking out opponents with headshots, and avoiding detection.

Overall, a fascinating build that involves extensive exploration and scavenging to locate all the tacticool equipment A wonderful time!

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Kalash

  • Barrel: Short barrel and suppressor
  • Stock: Heavy stock and grip
  • Sights: Reflex sight
  • Magazine: Standard magazine
  • Gadgets: Infrared laser

Details of the second weapon:

Weapon 2: Stallion

  • Barrel: Short barrel and suppressor
  • Stock: Heavy grip
  • Sights: Closed reflex sight
  • Magazine: High-capacity magazine(32 rounds)
  • Gadgets: Green laser

Why this build rocks:

  • Both weapons are equipped with suppressors
  • They can still be used for non-stealthy combat
  • Both weapons have strong stocks, improving stability
  • The AK has a rather high rate of fire
  • Stallion on the other hand has a massive magazine, you could make it fully automatic if you prefer that

2. 1950s Mafia Build

It’s getting weirder and weirder.

Once upon a time, Artyom decided that he would rather be a mafia member from the 1940s to the 1950s than live in post-apocalyptic Russia because it would be better. With a Sammy and a Revolver, Artyom is equipped with everything he needs to become the most insane survivor ever. With this build, you may blast your opponents with lead while yelling obscenities in Italian via the microphone.

However, there is a backup weapon, the revolver being the most appropriate. This revolver won't have any fancy cylinders, reflex sights, or excessive lasers in order to keep it as realistic as possible!

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Sammy

  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Sights: Iron sights
  • Mechanism: Automatic system
  • Magazine: High-capacity magazine
  • Gadgets: None

Weapon 1: Revolver

  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Sights: Iron sights
  • Magazine: 6-shot cylinder
  • Gadgets: None(you’re larping as a 1950s mob boss, duh)

Why this build is weird but fun:

  • Was incendiary ammunition available in the 1950s? Well, you can equip Sammy with that type of ammunition!
  • Sammy has a round magazine, capable of fitting 100 rounds
  • Sammy is better any day of the week than the Kalash
  • The revolver? It’s a revolver, point-and-shoot, profit!
  • Fun build, you don’t have to worry about Sammy jamming…

1. Artyom The Vampire Slayer

More cringe than the tacticool build!

This build is focused on Artyom finally losing his mind due to extreme radiation exposure and larping as a vampire hunter. He has a silent crossbow that may be incredibly lethal to both people and monsters. It works well for creeping around, but it can also be converted into an 8-bolt crossbow to quickly dispatch several foes without having to worry about reloading.

Although this build sounds awesome and IT IS, you need to make your shots count, as reloading is the biggest disadvantage of this weapon. Also, I picked an Ashot for this build because… I don’t know... Does it look the most medieval? Nah, it’s relatively decent if modified well enough, give it a try!

Details of the first weapon:

Weapon 1: Helsing

  • Stock: Heavy stock
  • Sights: Reflex sight
  • Magazine: 8-bolt magazine
  • Mechanism: Pneumatic bow system

Weapon 2: Ashot

  • Barrel: Four barrels
  • Stock: Heavy grip
  • Sights: Closed reflex sight
  • Gadgets: none

Why this build is the best:

  • Helsing is a powerful crossbow capable of 1-shotting most opponents
  • It can be modified to a point where the crossbow can be equipped with an 8-bolt cylinder, which is ridiculous but greatly increases the rate of fire
  • It can even be equipped with explosive bolts!
  • The build is perfect for stealth, although other playstyles might work out if you’re careful enough
  • Probably the most unique build out there, have fun!
