[Top 5] Kenshi Best Armor Vendors You Should Know About

Kenshi is full of useful shop vendors, some of them sell weapons, some of them sell first aid kits but today we’re gonna talk about the best armor vendors in all of Kenshi. We’re gonna include shops from all around the world of Kenshi - The Great Desert, Black Desert City, Shek Kingdoms, and other fancy areas. Let’s start!

5. Shek Armor Shop

Squid?

Squin is the first place that you’re gonna go to for armor if you started playing as a Wanderer. You probably won’t specialist grades in that shop but you should find at least high-grade pants and body armor. If you’re a thief, you should have a good time in that shop as well - the guards are dumb and most of the time they don’t guard the right places!

Why this armor shop is great:

  •  Cheap stuff, perfect for beginners
  •  High-grade armors
  •  Close to the spawn point

4. Crab Smithy

Why is Crab Smithy an excellent armor vendor? You can buy yourself crab armor, of course. It greatly hinders your dexterity but makes you pretty much immune to damage, especially from katanas and other weapons that deal more cutting damage on average. I don’t advise getting this armor early on but it’s gonna kick ass in later stages of the game!

Why this armor shop is great:

  •  Crab armor.
  •  Crab armor = immune to cutting damage
  •  Crabs.

3. Mongrel Armor Shop

You’re stuck here now..

Mongrel is a safe zone located in hell. It’s surrounded by fog and some mentally ill Hivers that will eat you if you come nearby them. Mongrel is constantly being attacked by the Fogmen and if you happen to be defeated, you’re gonna be sacrificed and dismembered. 

That’s why you should equip yourself with armor before attempting to escape the Foglands - luckily for you, the armor vendor in that cursed city has some excellent armor pieces, such as White Plate Jackets, Samurai Legplates, and other stuff that should keep you alive!

Why this armor shop is awesome:

  •  Specialist-grade armor is slim but possible of getting
  •  Light, medium, and heavy armor
  •  Full of cheap stuff if you’re desperate!

2. Heft Armory

The only good thing about this city is the armor shop.

This shopkeeper will keep telling you how great his armor shop and goods are, that you should buy them, and yadi-yada. He’s not bullcrapping, his armor is usually high-grade and they should keep you alive while fighting off slavers or Skimmers. 

You can expect the whole set of the Samurai Armor, some White Plate Jackets, and some light armor. This shop is built in such a way that it’s easy to steal from - guards are dumb and containers containing valuable stuff are blocked off with walls, far from the eyes of those pesky guards!

Why this armor shop is awesome:

  •  High-grade armor is common
  •  Unique dialogue with the shopkeeper
  •  Easy shop to steal loot from!

1. Armour King's Shop!

Armour King's Shop!

This shop has the greatest armor pieces for you to buy. Once you arrive there, you should expect heavy armor pieces that are usually specialist or masterwork grade. They usually have around 60% cutting/blunt resistance and plenty of harpoon resistance. 

If you’re not a huge fan of heavy armor, you can buy yourself light armor that is also usually high quality. Just make sure to bring a lot of cats with you, because stealing from this armor vendor is a guaranteed DEATH!

  •  Best equipment in the game
  •  Sells all types of armor
  •  Specialist/masterwork grades
  •  Unique dialogues
