[Top 10] Insurgency: Sandstorm Best Cosmetics

[Top 10] Insurgency: Sandstorm Best Cosmetics
Damn, I look so fashionable!

Are you someone who doesn’t care about advantages or his K/DA score and just wants to look as cool as possible while fighting? Well, if you do, there are a ton of cosmetic options to choose from to decorate your character. So you can kill your enemies with style instead of bullets. Insurgency: Sandstorm lets you customize any piece of clothing that your character can wear.

The cosmetics are also separated into the two forces in the game, which are Insurgents and Security. The Security cosmetics are more tactical, while the Insurgent ones are more casual. I’ll be ranking these cosmetics by how cool they look, so with that, let’s get into it.

10. PMC

This shows what the sand variation of the PMC cosmetic looks like.

The first cosmetics I’ll show are for the Security Forces, called the “PMC,” or private military company. It comes with 7 different cosmetics in total that you can mix and match to customize your character.

If you ever wanted to look like a real badass and not care about blending in with your surroundings, then these are the cosmetics for you. But if you still want to blend in with your surroundings and be harder to spot for your enemies, you can color the clothing items sand or tan color.

How To Get PMC:

  • You’ll first need to buy the cosmetics through the Steam store for 2.99$.
  • Open the game.
  • Then head to the Customize Menu and equip the cosmetic items.

9. Upriser

The uprising cosmetic showcase with the black variation and the hand tattoo.

It’s time to bring hell to the surface with this cosmetic set. It’s only for the Insurgent Forces, and it comes with 5 decorative items. There is even a cool tattoo that you can equip and show off to your friends.

This cosmetic set can be a bit of a disadvantage because it’s fully black, which means you can easily be spotted from far away. So don’t be surprised if a sniper kills you out of nowhere. But we don’t care about that; we only care about fashion here.

How To Get Upriser:

  • You can buy it in the Steam store for 2.99$.
  • Open the game and head to the customized tab to equip your cosmetics.

8. Urban Warden

You can see the urban Warden cosmetic in full view, along with the M249.

If you love playing on the prison map, why not dress for the occasion with the Urban Warden cosmetic set? This will fully turn you into the ultimate knight of justice and strike fear into your enemies. Especially if you’re carrying an M249 with you.

The set comes with 4 cosmetic items that cover the whole body. Along with the additional chainmail that comes with the cosmetic set. The devs wanted to make you feel like a knight of justice.

How To Get Urban Warden:

  • You can obtain it through the Steam store for 2.99$.
  • Then open the game and go to the customize tab to equip the cosmetics and serve some justice.

7. Nightstalker

The night stalker’s mask and clothes are in full view.

Truth be told, this cosmetic set has one of the most badass helmets in the whole game. I mean, look at it; it’s magnificent. The set also comes with some hand wraps, a shirt, and some pants.

The best part about this cosmetic set is that you can mix and match it with different cosmetics however you want, and it will still look damn cool and won’t feel out of place. The devs didn’t go over the top with this cosmetic set.

How To Get Nightstalker:

  • You have to buy it in the Steam store for 2.99$.
  • You can then equip the items in the customize tab.

6. Gray Man

The futuristic suit, better known as the gray man cosmetic.

Now, if you love playing on night maps, then you need to get yourself these cosmetics and color them completely black. It looks a bit on the futuristic side and can break the immersion, but that’s fine because the advantage it gives is insane.

I am still ranking these cosmetics by how cool they look. I just wanted to point out that you’re going to be almost completely invisible during the night with these cosmetics. But during the day, you’re easy to spot.

How To Get Gray Man:

  • Head over to the Steam store page and buy it for 2.99$.
  • You can then open the game, head over to the customize tab, and equip the items.

5. Sasquatch

This cosmetic will allow you to blend in with your snow environment, and you see how it looks.

Even though it’s named after the mythical creature known as “Big Foot,” this cosmetic set doesn’t come with big feet. It comes with 3 cosmetic items, which can all be colored and customized to your liking.

This cosmetic set was mainly created to suit the snow maps and to make it harder for the enemy to spot you from a distance. Along with that, it also comes with a unique helmet, something that you might find a soldier wearing in the snow.

How To Get Sasquatch:

  • You can buy it on Steam for 2.99$.
  • After buying it you can equip it through the customization menu.

4. Yeti

You’ll be completely invisible in the snow with this cosmetic, as it’s completely white with some black details.

If we were talking about cosmetics that give you an advantage, this would be in the top spot. Since when you wear these cosmetics and you’re playing on a snow map, it can be damn near impossible to spot you.

It’s almost impossible to detect someone from a large distance. Now, when it comes to cosmetics, they are completely white with some black details around them. Those black details were probably added to balance it out.

How To Get Yeti:

  • Head over to the Steam store and purchase it.
  • You can then equip it through the customization menu.

3. Ghillie

You can be invisible while sitting in a bush or laying down in the grass with this cosmetic.

The only reason I’m putting this cosmetic set so high on the list is because it looks so damn cool. Once you’re wearing this cosmetic set, you’ll feel like you are in special ops doing a tactical mission or something.

This feeling is doubled when you’re playing a night map. Not only that, but you can also sit in a bush and be hard to spot due to the ghillie suit blending in so well with the surroundings and grass.

How To Get Ghillie:

  • To obtain these cosmetics, head over to the Steam store page and purchase them for 2.99$.
  • Head over to the customization tab and equip the cosmetics for yourself.

2. Rogue Spec-Ops

The image shows one of the many variations of rogue spec-ops cosmetics.

By far, this is the coolest cosmetic set that the Insurgent Forces have. It’s fully decked out with special-ops equipment, and you get to wear a mask that has a skull on it. No matter what your age range is, skull masks will always be cool.

Along with those clothing choices, they also come in different color variations that you can choose from. These cosmetics don’t give you any advantages whatsoever, but they do improve your fashion sense to a 10.

How To Get Rogue Spec-Ops:

  • Buy it from the Steam store for 2.99$.
  • Equip the items in the customization menu.

1. Bad Day

Here you can see the bad day cosmetic showcase.

Now the coolest-looking cosmetics in the whole game have to be from this set. I mean, just look at it. Even though it just shows bandages and blood everywhere on your character, it kind of shows what he or she has been through.

What the war has done to them, and no matter what their wounds are, they are still fighting and still alive. If that doesn’t sound badass and cool, I have no idea what will. The set comes with four cosmetic gear pieces in total.

How To Get a Bad Day:

  • Head over to the Steam store page and purchase it for 2.99$.
  • After that open the game and go to the customization tab to equip the cosmetics.
