What are the best 1vX builds in ESO?

You know that one guy in PvP who jumps in the middle of the enemy team, scores a bunch of kills and still manages to get out alive? Well, that is what we call a 1vX player, someone who can fight against a big group of enemy players with relative ease.

These builds are meant for veteran PvP players who wish to go that one step further when it comes to their performance in Battlegrounds and Cyrodiil.

5. Magicka Dragonknight

When it comes to facing multiple enemies at once, the Dragonknight is one of the best classes in ESO. That is because the Dragonknight is incredibly tanky and has access to great AoE damage. This build focuses on those strong points, with very high defensive stats and fast charging of your Ultimate.

What Magicka Dragonknight excels at:

• Very tanky build, making you a very hard target to kill;
• Great AoE damage through skills such as the Flames of Oblivion;

Like Dragonknights, Wardens are also powerful warriors with amazing defensive capabilities and AoE damage. The biggest advantage of the Warden however is the fact that they are never really alone, with powerful summoned creatures that help you deal with large enemy groups. Poisons are also a big part of this build, increasing by a large amount the damage you deal with your light and heavy attacks.

What Stamina Warden excels at:

• Powerful summons that always stand by your side;
• Amazing AoE damage with skills such as the Deep Fissure and the Dawnbreaker Ultimate;
• Constant Major Brutality and Sorcery, increasing your offensive stats by 20%;
• Very strong self healing abilities that make you very hard to kill;
• Constant Major Resolve, increasing your defensive stats by a huge amount.

Templars are very resilient warriors that can keep themselves alive with their strong healing abilities even at the most dangerous of situations. This build uses the Rallying Cry armor set to increase your offensive stats whenever you heal yourself or an ally, in conjunction with very high sustainability of resources, allowing you to spam your abilities and keep up during longer battle encounters.

• The Rallying Cry armor set increases your offensive stats whenever you heal yourself or an ally, as well as your Critical Resistance, one of the most important defensive stats in PvP;
• Very powerful bursts of healing, keeping you alive at any situation;
• Constant self healing and strong buffs make you very tanky;
• Great single target damage with powerful spammable skills;
• Very high execution potential using the Radiant Oppression ability.

2. Stamina Necromancer

Necromancers have some of the strongest abilities in ESO, and the star of the show on this build is their spammable Ruinous Scythe. This skill provides constant and powerful self healing, while also dealing tons of damage at the same time, and the catch here is that the healing is increased based on how many enemies you hit, meaning that this is perfect for 1vX PvP situations.

What Stamina Necromancer excels at:

• Very high survivability with great self healing abilities;
• Incredible AoE damage output ;
• Can consume corpses of dead enemies to deal more damage to other enemies around it;
• Your self healing on Ruinous Scythe is increased based on the number of enemies, meaning that is the perfect skill for 1vX;
• Huge bursts of damage and healing, allowing you to melt HP bars while also healing yourself to full HP in the blink of an eye.

The most important asset of the Nightblade when it comes to overpowering multiple opponents at once is the mobility of the class. Nightblades have powerful gap closers, great escape skills, invisibility, teleportation… You get the idea: everything you need to move around the battlefield so quickly that the enemies can’t react in time while you kill them one at a time.

What Stamina Nightblade excels at:

• Very high mobility with skills that include gap closers, stealth, teleportation, and more;
• Can deal with tankier enemies, with high offensive penetration, further increased by the Night Mother’s Gaze armor set, which applies the Major Breach debuff to enemies;
• Powerful critical damage output, with guaranteed criticals coming out of stealth;
• High survivability provided by the healing burst of Rally;
• Huge bursts of damage using the second activation of Relentless Focus.
