[Top 10] CSGO Best Weapons For Beginners

CSGO Best Weapons For Beginners

10. USP-S (Pistol, CT)

  • Damage: 35
  • Fire Rate: 352 RPM
  • Reload Time: 2.2 seconds

The USP ("universal self-loading pistol") is a semi-automatic pistol.   This gun, which you can slaughter the enemy with serial and single shots, is one of the guns given to you in the first round. It is more tactical to attach a silencer to the tip in order to make more stable shots. The pistol is an alternative option to the P2000, making it one of the Counter-Terrorists's spawn pistols. If equipped in the inventory menu before the match, a CT player will receive a USP-S at the start of a round. If Counter Terrorist players drop the pistol at the start of a round, they may also repurchase one from the buy menu for $200.

The USP-S has a silencer which is equipped by default when receiving the weapon, although using the secondary fire key, players can detach and reattach it at will. The silencer is best kept on because removing it increases recoil and decreases accuracy, making it overall less effective than the non-silenced choice, the P2000.

With the silencer on, the USP-S has high accuracy and moderate recoil. It also has a high running accuracy, but low magazine capacity and reserve ammunition capacity, and a low rate of fire. Its damage is respectable, but its armor penetration is low, making it good for long-range pistol round combat but less than ideal for later rounds.

9. AUG (Automatic Rifle, CT)

  • Damage: 28
  • Fire Rate: 600 RPM
  • Reload Time: 3.8 seconds

The AUG has an average rate of fire - on par with the AK-47 and M4A1-S - and deals moderate damage. In Global Offensive, the AUG is able to instantly kill a full health helmet-wearing player with one headshot at point-blank range. However, because the damage is 100 flat, any additional range will cause damage drop-off and make the feat impossible.

The AUG has good accuracy and moderately strong recoil. It has the highest first shot accuracy out of all assault rifles when scoped in. Recoil is strong when fired full-auto, but the first few shots have controllable recoil, so firing in bursts of 3 is viable. The AUG has a long reload time and is moderately heavy. It is highly popular with newer players due to its easy-to-learn "scope and shoot" policy.

It is the equivalent of SG 553 for terrorists.

8. SSG 08 (Sniper Rifle, CT and T)

  • Damage: 88
  • Fire Rate: 48 RPM
  • Reload Time: 3.7 seconds

The AWP's little cousin, the SSG 08 or Scout rifle, is an excellent choice when doing a half buy or an eco round where you can't afford an AWP.  Being bolt-action, the SSG 08 has a very low rate of fire, though a little faster than the AWP. It also has a long reload time like the AWP. It has good bullet penetration power. Like the Scout, the weapon is lightweight for a sniper rifle.

As a sniper rifle, the weapon is equipped with a high power lens scope for long range engagement. When not scoped in, the rifle is inaccurate (though better than the AWP) and has no crosshair to assist aiming. The scope can be used with secondary fire, and pressing secondary fire again while scoped in zooms in the scope. Unlike other sniper rifles, the player's movement speed is not reduced while scoped in.

The SSG 08 will always deliver instant headshot kills, but is unable to achieve an instant body shot kill, unlike the AWP. However, unlike the Scout, the SSG 08 can kill unarmored targets at full health with a shot to the gut.

7) AWP (Sniper Rifle, CT and T)

  • Damage: 115
  • Fire Rate: 41 RPM
  • Reload Time: 3.7 seconds

The AWP is one of the most expensive weapons in CS:GO, and with good reason. It is the only gun that one-shots enemies through body shots. Since it’s a sniper rifle, you’ll have a single shot to work with in intense scenarios. If there isn’t enough distance between you and the enemy, you may not be able to get the second shot off. Regardless of its drawbacks, the AWP is an excellent tool that is mostly used to secure perimeters.  Enemy players need to know where the opposing AWPer is at all times and strategies need to be made to combat them. Peeking into an AWP without help is a near-death sentence.

6) M4A1 (Automatic Rifle, CT)

  • Damage: 33
  • Fire Rate: 600 RPM
  • Reload Time: 3.1 seconds

The M4A1-S would be the de facto best rifle for the CT side if the M4A4 did not exist. M4A1-S is considered as the M4A4’s silenced sibling. Compared to the M4A4, the M4A1-S features a lower recoil but a slower fire rate.

The M4A1-S is silenced and has significantly easier-to-control recoil than the M4A4. The M4A1-S is more effective at longer distances, though. The lower recoil rate of the weapon makes it more accurate than the M4A4 in long-range scenarios, and the silencer also comes in clutch if you’re shooting from cover. M4A1-S is able to wipe teams with ease and sound incredible doing it.

5) AK-47 (Automatic Rifle, T)

  • Damage: 35
  • Fire Rate: 600 RPM
  • Reload Time: 2.43 seconds

Every team wants the AK-47 is undoubtedly the best weapon in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. A well-placed headshot will drop opponents, even if your opponents have armor or a helmet, you’ll be able to one-shot them with headshots. The AK-47 has a decent fire rate and tremendous damage, but it can be relatively difficult to control at times. You’ll want to avoid spraying with an AK-47 unless you’re in a close-range situation where your enemy is only a few steps away.

The ability to kill in as half as many bullets as an M4A4 combined with a high degree of mobility and multi-kill potential makes the AK-47 the single best gun in the game.

 4) M4A4 (Automatic Rifle, CT)

  • Damage: 33
  • Fire Rate: 666 RPM
  • Reload Time: 3.1 seconds

When you’re playing on the CT side, the M4A4 is the closest alternative to the AK-47. Compared to the AK-47, this CT rifle is considered more versatile due to its lower recoil. Spraying with M4A4 is more manageable than the AK-47. If it had slightly higher damage, allowing it to one-shot armored opponents to the head, it would be the best weapon in the game. The M4A4 is one of the best weapons at dropping multiple enemies in a single spray thanks to its good mag size, damage, and recoil management. Any player who wants to play CS:GO competitively needs to master the M4A4 to stand a chance.

3) UMP (Submachine Gun, CT and T)

  • Damage: 35
  • Fire Rate: 666 RPM
  • Reload Time: 3.5 seconds

If you are a beginner, SMG would be the best for you. But you may still need to use one when money is an issue. The UMP is listed as an SMG, but it can also play like an assault rifle. The UMP has been featured in many of the best FPS games of all time, and it has been a great weapon in nearly all of them. With its low price, the UMP is an excellent alternative to try out when you can afford an assault rifle. Its slower fire rate makes it easy to control, and it still performs well at medium-range. While it’ll never provide the same effectiveness and utility as an assault rifle, the UMP is the best alternative and the most user-friendly SMG.  Few weapons are as easy to use and effective as the UMP is in most situations, making it an excellent firearm.

2)P90 (Submachine Gun, CT and T)

  • Damage: 26
  • Fire Rate: 857 RPM
  • Reload Time: 3.3 seconds

Although not much preferred by professional players due to its price, the P90 is very popular with beginners who like to rush. The high capacity P90 is easy to spray as it has low recoil.

The P90 is commonly considered a noob gun because it has a lot of bullets and a good fire rate, so you can usually land enough bullets for a kill without really knowing spray control, and while running.

1) SCAR-20 (Auto Sniper, CT)

  • Damage: 80
  • Fire Rate: 240 RPM
  • Reload Time: 3.1 seconds

As a sniper rifle, the weapon is equipped with a high-powered scope. The scope can be used with secondary fire, and secondary fire can be pressed again while the scope is open for scope zooms. The player's movement speed is reduced while scoped. If the player uses secondary fire or switches weapons again at the higher zoom setting, they will be out of scope.

It has a high rate of fire (the fastest of all sniper rifles along with the G3SG1), high accuracy, controllable recoil, fast reloading, and also a high tag factor. It has high damage, but unlike AWP, it cannot instantly kill an enemy with a single shot to the body. These features make the weapon generally easier to use, as it can easily knock down enemies and deal an incredible amount of damage and finish them off in a few shots.

If you are a beginner and have money to buy, it will be the most powerful weapon for you. Of course, provided that the opposing team does not take this weapon from you.
