[Top 10] COD Modern Warfare Best Beginner Loadouts

Cod Warzone Wallpaper
Shoot back you cowards!

I don’t think there are many beginners right now, but… who knows right?

Well, this one’s for you guys! We all know that there are easier-to-use and more forgiving weapons than others in Warzone. Some tend to have more recoil or less fire rate, which might be hard to get used to if you’re starting your Warzone or CoD journey. Before this season ends and Warzone 2.0 launches, I’ll recommend some of the best beginner loadouts you can run to get familiar with this beautiful but chaotic game.

PS: Some loadouts have a different optic than the one shown in the video because it got nerfed a few days back. Specifically, the SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x is being replaced by the 1229/Slate 3.25x Custom.

10. BACK FROM THE DEAD

Loadout in action:

Cooper Carbine:

MP-40:

The meta from a few months ago has once again positioned itself as one of the best options in the last few weeks of Warzone.

The Cooper Carbine is like a laser that shoots extremely fast. You'll get used to it quickly and you'll enjoy it even more if you pair it with my baby: the MP-40. This submachine gun has a good damage range and is very controllable and friendly for inexperienced players.

An old meta re-emerging... nothing new in CoD Warzone.

  • This loadout will help you get used to any playstyle you choose: rushing, camping or simply assisting your teammates

9. HEADSHOTS ONLY

Loadout in action:

KG M40:

RA 225:

I had not imagined the AR of this loadout alongside this SMG beast but when you try it, you fall in love.

The KG M40 has been known for a while for having almost no recoil and a pretty decent and even competitive damage range. You're certainly going to be able to dominate long and medium ranges, while with your RA 225 you're going to be able to tear your enemies apart up close. Sure, this SMG has a little more recoil but as far as defense goes, believe me, it's going to do the job.

You're going to be that newbie that everyone envies for having such powerful weapons.

What this loadout Excels In:

  • The KG M40 has a pretty competitive TTK thanks to its accuracy, which allows the player to hit more headshots and thus kill more enemies than any usual heavy assault rifle
  • The RA 225 has a crazy movement speed, which will allow you to get used to Warzone’s movement and perfect it
  • The combination of a heavy weapon and a very light and fast one always comes in handy when talking about encounters at any range
  • You can either rush or keep your distance; you will deal a lot of damage anyway

8. SNIPED

Loadout in action:

Gorenko:

Nikita:

To be honest, these are not the best weapons to recommend to a beginner, if they have no CoD experience at all.

Don't worry, I have my reasons for including them in this list despite the above. The Gorenko anti-tank rifle may seem difficult to use at first but it is very forgiving thanks to its rate of fire and high damage. Both are very good, so they will allow you to miss some shots and still have the ability to eliminate your enemies. On the other hand, the Nikita has a recoil that is a bit difficult to control at first, but its rate of fire makes up for this, since when using it only for medium and short distances... well, it practically melts the enemy.

Come on, you have to suffer to get better!

Loadout overview:

  • Gorenko
    • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
      • Pros: Sound Suppression, Horizontal Recoil Control, Bullet Velocity
      • Cons: -

Lethal

  • Throwing Knife

Tactical

  • Stim

What this loadout Excels in:

  • Both weapons are very forgiving, which makes them good suggestions for beginner players
  • The Nikita is one of the best options for a sniper support weapon despite its kind of slow movement
  • Rate of fire of both guns is simply nuts for both weapon categories: sniper rifle and assault rifle

7. OG META?

Loadout in action:

STG-44:

MP-40:

STG has returned to its throne, according to many streamers and YouTubers.

I'm not going to argue that the STG is a great option... in fact, forget what I was going to say: it's very good. It has a good rate of fire, pretty decent damage and above all: a recoil that you get used to quickly. And, what better than to take it along with the baby I told you about before? Yes, the MP-40.

I know, we’ll get to the MW and CW guns in a minute…

What this loadout Excels in:

  • Both of these weapons’ movement is great. The STG’s movement is pretty smooth even if we’re talking about an AR

6. NEVER GETS OLD

Loadout in action:

Grau:

Marco 5:

Two of the most hated and loved weapons in Warzone... not at all toxic to carry them in the same loadout, right?

Well, in case you don't know, the Grau was meta before Cold War was introduced in Warzone... yes, it seems like a thousand years ago. Why is it in the meta today? Because it has almost no recoil and has a very good damage range since it was buffed a few weeks ago. There's practically no recoil to control in this AR. Also, the Marco 5 has very little recoil either and has an excellent rate of fire. However, focus on hitting as many shots as you can in the enemy's head.

I lost a game yesterday because I didn't aim for the head with the Marco 5... it still hurts.

Loadout overview:

  • Grau
    • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor

  • Amped

Lethal

  • Throwing Knife

Tactical

  • Stim

What this loadout Excels in:

  • The Grau is probably the friendliest weapon for a beginner because it’s not only fun to use, but also very controllable and helps you understand where your shots must go to
  • Marco 5 is so reliable that you can even use it as a medium-range-focused weapon. That’s thanks to its very little recoil and consistent damage range
  • Although the Grau doesn’t have the best mobility in the game, the Marco 5 does have a very smooth one

5. COLD WAR BEAST

Loadout in action:

XM4:

Bullfrog:

A little meta brought back from Cold War.

The XM4 has been near the throne for a long time because it is so comfortable. In other words, it is not difficult to engage its recoil pattern and maintains fairly constant damage at almost any distance. Plus, it has a pretty good reload speed compared to other ARs. And, of course, the beautiful Bullfrog to top off this amazing combination! With enough bullets to take down up to 3 members of an enemy squad, with very good mobility and excellent damage... you just won't want to let go of this beauty.

I don't know if it's just me being weird, but I have to admit that the Bullfrog's iron sights don't let me see anything, but maybe it's my glasses.

Loadout overview:

  • XM4

  • Bullfrog

      • Pros: Movement speed, Aim Walking Movement Speed
      • Cons: Flashlight Visible to Enemies, Aiming Stability
    • Stock: No Stock
      • Pros: Sprint to Fire Time

      • Pros: Hip fire Accuracy, Movement Speed
      • Cons: -

Perks

  • Serpentine
  • Overkill
  • Amped

Lethal

  • Throwing Knife

Tactical

  • Stim

What this loadout Excels in:

  • XM4’s recoil is very easy to control although you do have to get the hang of it at first
  • Bullfrog does have some vertical recoil, but when controlling it and aiming at the head, the enemies get killed fast
  • Not only is this loadout great at damage range, but also at mobility (you move pretty fast when wielding any of these two guns)

4. EXCUSE ME?!

Loadout in action:

Kilo:

Fennec:

I have to admit that I get excited about recommending MW weapons. In this case, come two options that are *chefs kiss* not just for beginners.

First, we have the Kilo, which is so high on this list because of its reliability and good damage range. Of course, some weapons have a better Time To Kill, but without a doubt, this would be one of the first weapons I would suggest to a newbie. In any case, we have a great SMG companion that does a lot of damage and is not at all difficult to use. Although the Fennec may not have many bullets in its magazine, if you use it for Solos or Duos, you will destroy all your enemies thanks to its Insane Damage and very fast rate of fire.

It's probably my favorite loadout when my brain is fried and I'm not playing that well.

Loadout overview:

  • Kilo
    • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
      • Pros: Sound Suppression, Damage Range
      • Cons: Aim Down Sight Speed, Aim Walking Steadiness
    • Barrel: Singuard Arms 19.8” Prowler

    • Magazine: 50 Round Mags
      • Pros: Magazine Ammo Capacity
      • Cons: Aim Down Sight Speed, Movement Speed
  • Fennec
    • Barrel: ZLR 18” Deadfall
      • Pros: Damage Range, Recoil Control, Bullet Velocity, Sound Suppression
      • Cons: Aim Down Sight Speed, Movement Speed
    • Laser: Tac Laser
      • Pros: Aim Down Sight Speed, Aiming Stability, Aim Walking Steadiness
      • Cons: Laser Visible to Enemies
    • Magazine: 40 Round Drum Mags
      • Pros: Magazine Ammo Capacity
      • Cons: Aim Down Sight Speed, Movement Speed
    • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
      • Pros: Aim Down Sight Speed, Sprint to Fire Speed
      • Cons: Aiming Stability
    • Perk: Sleight of Hand
      • Pros: Reload Quickness
      • Cons: -

Perks

  • Serpentine
  • Overkill
  • Amped

Lethal

  • Throwing Knife

Tactical

  • Stim

What this loadout Excels in:

  • The Kilo has been very controllable for a long time but what made it good is that it was buffed some weeks ago and that gave it a bit more damage range
  • The Fennec is just amazing! It kills super fast at short-range engagements
  • This combo is outstanding when rushing with one or more teammates. Spoiler alert: you’ll melt

3. MW FOR THE WIN

Loadout in action:

M13:

CX-9:

A small surprise thanks to the latest update and weapon balance.

The M13 has recently risen to the top of the line thanks to its rate of fire and almost non-existent recoil. The best thing about this AR is that you can carry it as a main weapon or as sniper support. In this case, we are carrying it as a long-range weapon because we are also going to equip the CX-9, which was buffed and was a surprise for everyone. After all, it has very good damage and is now better than everyone expected.

They are such easy-to-use weapons that even the toxic girlfriend could use them.

2. AGGRESSIVE

Loadout in action:

Kar98k:

FFAR 1:

Just because you're a beginner doesn't mean you can't learn to snipe.

In case you don't know, the Kar98k from Modern Warfare is like the jewel of every sniper in Warzone. This is because it aims very fast and has a very good damage range for maps like Fortune's Keep and Rebirth Island. In other words, you can rush with it or you can just make life miserable for others from a distance. To take care of the medium and short distances there is the FFAR... literal chills. This AR aims extremely fast and destroys your enemies in the blink of an eye. It has a ridiculous rate of fire and excellent damage, although you will have to control some vertical recoil.

The FFAR terror is back, my friend.

1. TOO EASY

Loadout in action:

Grau:

MP7:

The friendliest loadout for every Warzone player who wants to start improving.

The Grau, as I said, is very forgiving and has a very controllable recoil. All that aside, it has a very good damage range. Now, we include a slightly forgotten but very good and friendly SMG. The MP7 is incredible at shooting from the hip and has a very good TTK at short distances. It also has a decent fire rate and a pretty good magazine size.

The best loadout for someone who wants to follow the dark but beautiful path of Warzone
