[Top 15] AoT: Best Levi Ackerman Quotes That Are Great

Levi Ackerman aka humanity's strongest soldier
Not Levi casually throwing around his weapon

It's Levi Ackerman, so of course, he'll have some quotes that are great!

The Captain of the Survey Corps and the strongest man alive must have some personality and a certain depth to his character. And, Isayama did complete justice regarding Levi's take on various things.

Here are the top 15 quotes that caught my attention. So, without further ado, let's dive right into them:

15. "The Difference In Judgment Between You And Me, Originates From Different Rules Derived From Past Experience."

Levi here flaunts his experience and makes quite a statement as well. When necessary, Levi will not hesitate to put someone in their place. Given his extensive military background, he is in a better position than others to assess any given circumstance.

14. "If You Don't Want To Die - Think."

Levi knows that only quick reflexes would save a person in the world of Titans. Along with quick reflexes, everyone needs to think quickly as well. Because Attack on Titan takes place in a world plagued with threat and suffering, every person has death hanging over them.

You invite death upon yourself the instant you do a foolish action; aka don't think. So, take Captain Levi's advice and use your head!

13. "This Is Just My Opinion, But When It Comes To Teaching Somebody Discipline...I Think Pain Is The Most Effective Way."

The Captain requested the judge to let Eren serve as his trainee. Combining the phrase with two solid kicks to the Titan Shifter's face allowed Levi to make a strong case for himself.

And he was given Eren's custody eventually.

12. "Hange. Whatever You're About To Touch Is Probably Poisonous, So Don't."

This was such an aww moment for me!

Levi looking out for Hange has to be the cutest moment of friendships in Attack on Titan. Apart from caring for his friends, this also shows how observant Levi is. He makes sure to have all his companions under his radar and always has their back.

11. "If You Hesitate For So Much As A Second, You'll Be Dead. The Moment You See An Opening, Go For The Kill."

The newly recruited members of the Survey Corps were unprepared for the challenges ahead since they had never been put through their paces in a real fight against human opponents.

Therefore, Levi spent much time elaborating on the significance of "kill or be killed." He knew that every ordeal would only get more challenging, and no one would get a do-over. Thus he took it as his responsibility to take matters into his own hands and train his soldiers to have the same concept as his.

10. "The Only Thing We're Allowed To Do Is Believe That We Won't Regret The Choice We Made."

I'm sure Levi must have had some second thoughts, but overall, this is excellent advice from the Captain. Despite his frequent brushes with death, he maintains an upbeat and forward-looking outlook.

Despite his outward demeanor, he honestly does try to seize each day. Levi Ackerman teaches us to trust that what we did was right.

9. "But I Think It's Time To Let Him Rest."

One of the toughest decisions in Levi's life was to let go of Commander Erwin. In this scene, he finally understands that Erwin had his share of traumatic experiences, and now is the time to let him go and rest in peace.

8. "Thank You, Guys. I Needed That."

How can I forget Levi's cute smile when he said this? It's impossible to do so because he looked undeniably cute in this scene!

In many ways, Kenny acted as a father figure to Levi. There was a noticeable effect on him from his death. Levi responded jokingly and thanked Historia and the others for their support after they played a prank on him.

7. "...You Have No Idea How Many Friends I've Had To Kill."

Zeke Jaeger attempted to flee Levi and his camp by having his spinal fluid infused into wine. Still, in the process, he transformed everyone into Titans except Levi.

Zeke was sure that Levi wouldn't be able to bring himself to kill his former allies once they'd changed, but Levi didn't show any reluctance. When he finally got up to Jaeger, he wasted no time telling him how stupid he was.

6. "Believe In Yourself, Or Believe In The Survey Corps And Me. I Don't Know And I Never Have But I Can Believe In My Own Abilities Or The Choices Of The Companions I Trust. But No One Ever Knows How It Will Turn Out. So Choose For Yourself, Whichever Decision You Will Regret The Least."

This was Levi Ackerman's first full-fledged advice to Eren Yeager in season 1 when they were up against the Female Titan.

He wanted the newest member of the Survey Corps to understand that either way, he had to put his trust in someone. Now it could be himself or his members, but he should go for the one that would cause him the slightest regret.

5. "Stay Alive. That's An Order."

My heart fluttered when Levi said this. Literally.

A super cliche move by Levi in a time of war, but we all loved it, didn't we? After giving his team orders and getting them into position, Levi sternly forbade anybody from dying.

Even though Levi, like any excellent leader, can assess when it's time to make a move. There are moments in the war when it is necessary to tolerate the loss of friends in order to achieve a triumph. However, he didn't want anyone dying in this scene, nope.

4. "A Lot Of Time, You're Going Into Situations You Know Nothing About. So What You Need Is To Be Quick To Act…and Make Tough Decisions In Worst-Case Scenarios."

The only person that could relate to Eren was Levi. Like Eren, Levi was alone throughout the anime because he had to take tough stances, which cost him everything dear to him.

The Captain has a lot of wisdom to impart to the Titan Shifter when they chat. Despite destroying eighty percent of humanity, I think he secretly hoped Eren would be among the survivors. After all, they do go back a long way.

3. "Learn How To Clean Before You Learn The 3D Maneuver Gear."

All Hail the King of Cleanliness!

Levi Ackerman had his priorities set right. If you can't keep your equipment clean, how would it work properly? Therefore, he made sure that his soldiers knew the importance of cleaning and maintained the standards he expected.

2. "Give Up Your Dreams And Die."

Even Commander Erwin may expect a lecture from Levi at some point.

Erwin urged Levi to find out what was in the Jaegers' cellar before he could even think of dying. Still, Levi assured him that he had more pressing concerns. Even if they did find the solutions, they wouldn't be helpful if they couldn't act on them.

Erwin and many scouts were doomed to die due to Captain Ackerman's harsh words, yet it was essential. It may have salvaged Paradis' dream of freedom.

1. "We Can't Always Carry Our Fallen Comrades Home, But We Carry Their Memory."

The death of loved ones is nothing new for Levi. In a series of unfortunate missions, the Scouts lost many men. It will not get any easier, especially if they never get to say goodbye to their loved ones at home.

More than once, Levi has been forced to abandon the corpses he had just buried to ensure his and others' survival. Many of his companions were unprepared for this reality. Still, Levi's reminder that their friends may live on in their hearts is both motivating and consoling.

Conclusion
