Some can argue that apartments are not part of the Sims 3. However, that is simply not true. Apartments do exist and anyone can build their custom apartment as long as they have the codes and some extra knowledge. These simmers have made it their priority to design apartments that anyone would love to have. This list contains the top 10 best apartments that are aesthetic and that vary from vintage to modern to fit all tastes.  

10. Rustic bungalow: 

I personally love bungalows, especially during summertime. They are spacious and simple. This bungalow has a rustic vibe to it that makes it very unique.  

-What makes this Rustic bungalow amazing:  

• The beautiful neutral colors outside and inside; black, white, gray. 
• The chosen rustic furniture and the way the rooms are designed make it feel chic and cozy at the same time. 
• It has an ocean view.  
• It is a one floor bungalow that is simple and has more than enough space to enjoy one’s free time.

9. Modern loft: 

The Sims 3: Modern Loft.

This is, hands down, one of my favorite lofts. It is very modern and sophisticated. The architecture is *chef’s kiss* and it was one of the first apartments that got me wanting to build my own and spoiler alert: it was not even close to this one.  

-What makes this Modern Loft amazing:  

• It has a pool! And you can see what’s outside while you are swimming! 
• The living room is mainly black, red and white which gives it a very modern feel.  
• The loft has a wall of glass that has a view on the whole city.  
• It has a kid’s room, a media room and even a gym! 
• The backyard is so beautiful and has a pond, fountains, a pool and a hot tub. 
• It is at the heart of Bridgeport. 

8. Cityview Penthouse:

Sims 3 Speed Build - Cityview Penthouse.

A very industrial penthouse that is very well built with items from Late Night, University Life, Into the Future and Diesel stuff. It is very tasteful. 

-What makes this Cityview Penthouse amazing:  

• It is very big and very detailed. 
• It has a pool table that your sim can play. 
• This apartment has cheap items that complement each other in the best way possible and make it look very industrial with a NYC vibe. 
• It has an art station for artistic sims. 
• There is a hot tub on the terrace which makes perfect for throwing parties. 
• It has a beautiful view especially at night.  

7. Pepperidge: 

The Sims 3: Speed Build | Pepperidge.

Very modern from the outside with neutral colors and a touch of colors on the inside that do not make it any less modern.  

-What makes Pepperidge amazing:  

• It looks like a cottage where you can live and not just use as a vacation escape.  
• The layout of the house is very beautiful and has an open concept which allows your sims to live in it comfortably. 
• A balcony in the master bedroom with a beautiful view. 
• It has an art room to unleash your sim’s artistic abilities.  
• The outside is very beautiful and has amazing trees and plants.  
• The bedrooms aren’t decorated so you can decorate it however you please.

6. The enclave:

This house is THE dream house. It is very creative, modern and luxurious. It is very big and spacious and can definitely fit a group of friends.  

-What makes The Enclave amazing:  

• It is tastefully built for those with a luxurious and chic taste.  
• It has 2 floors with a back and a front yard.  
• It has neutral colors which emphasize the chic vibe and has plenty of windows that have 4 different views. 
• Every side of this house is very well decorated either with plants, trees or even fountains.  
• It has a big pool that is composed of 3 pools and 2 hot tubs.  
• It has a garage, a playground, a gym, an outdoor bar where you can throw parties or organize barbecues. 

5.  Parisian apartment: 

The Sims 3 -Speed Build- Parisian Apartment No. 01.

Parisian apartments are simply beautiful. The aesthetic is so mesmerizing and the attention to details is poignant. This simmer has built a whole building and decorated the inside of the apartments to make it Paris inspired.  

-What makes this Parisian apartment amazing:  

• The Parisian vibe! It is, simply put, immaculate. 
• The apartment unit has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a laundry area, a kitchen, a dining room and a living room.  
• It is chic yet has a vintage and sophisticated feel to it with cohesive neutral colors.  
• The balconies have views on the river and the town. 
• The furniture is very complementary to the apartments and building as a whole. 
• The building has a little garden area where your sim can relax and have some fresh air. 

4. Hobbit hole:

An underground house? Yes. This simmer made it happen.

• This is an underground house which in itself is outstanding!  
• As unique as it can get.  
• It has a beautiful exterior design surrounded by plants and flowers.  
• The inside of the house is also amazing and can be perfect for couples.  
• It is small, simple and efficient. 

3. Oceanside Modern:  

Sims 3 Speed Build - Oceanside Modern.

A modern house situated right next to the ocean. It is super chic and luxurious and definitely takes some dedication to build.  

-What makes this Oceanside Modern House amazing: 

• The architecture is just top notch.  
• It has a beautiful backyard with a modern pool and a hot tub.  
• The furniture is very modern and has some funky touches.  
• It is built in Aluna Island. 
• It has multiple rooms and can fit a big group of sims. Lots of space to settle in.  

2. Vista: 

The Sims 3 - Building Vista.

This house is fully white and fully modern. It is a glass house (which I would never choose to own in real life) and gets natural lighting. It is so well put together.  

-What makes this this Vista house amazing:  

• It is all white! As bright as it can be. 
• It is all glass which gives a new definition to transparency!  
• It has a huge pool that is the same length of the house and fountains.  
• The furniture is white too which emphasizes the modern feel of the house. 

1. Modern Forest Home: 

SIMS 3 SPEED BUILD // Modern Forest Home.

Unlike the other houses in this list, this is a modern forest house. It is immersed in greenery surrounded by big trees.  

-What makes this modern forest house amazing:  

• The exterior design is so beautiful and modern. It is a mixture of black, white and dark brown walls.  
• The backyard has a pool that lights up and a hot tub.  
• The entrance is so very well thought of and well put together with a modern touch.  
• The furniture and interior design match the outside and compliment the house so wonderfully.
