In New World, the Life Staff is generally used for the healing abilities it provides. Keep in mind the build you want to achieve as this weapon is mainly used by Protectors and Healers.

What are Life Staffs?

This weapon is vital in the game and every group of friends should have at least one Life Staff Expert. It is classed as a Healer build. With this weapon not only can you decrease your enemy's life, but more importantly, you can heal your friends.

As a weapon, it provides heavy and light attacks as well. It is suggested if you aim to use it as a weapon make it your second one and not the primary. Note that this weapon depends on focus. This means your aim with attributes must be to use them in focus. But you will also need heaps of constitution to increase life when wielding this staff.

 Why are they important?

Healing is vital in this game if you wish to succeed. But that is not the only thing the Life Staff provides. There is the Orb of Protection, Divine Embrace, Sacred Ground, and many more benefits with this Staff.

When in battle, the healers must be protected but they must be able to provide what is needed by the group. The bigger the group, the more healers will be needed. Remember, one healer can only do so much.

• The Empty Gem Socket: 
  • By adding a gem you will get more effects from it.
• Healing Protection: 
  • With Orb of Safety, you can give your allies +45% outgoing healing power for 3s. This only applies to friends whose health falls under 50%.

With this staff make sure to consider using the Orb of Healing as one of your perks.

If you are seeking Tidings of Good Fortune, you will have to travel across the map to Elysian Wilds, or as some know it Old First Light. There you will face enemies everywhere you go. But you seek only one foe. Don't forget to drink your potion:

  • When using the Beacon power to heal others, you can gain a great 11% chance for critical lasting 6s.
• Use a Refreshing Move:

  • You and deal +5% more with both heavy and Light attacks.

Enchanted and Keen Beacon are pleasure perks for this weapon. Select the ones you want with consideration.

If you have the right gear and selected perks, you are sure to make an impact. PVE and PVP are no problem. Excellent for any healer and good for Damagers as well. But any build can use it.
