[Top 5] Marvel Snap Best Shuri Decks And Why They're Good

Marvel, Marvel Snap, Best Cards, Card Game

Shuri is a very powerful pool 4 card that opens up a door to many possible decks once you buy her. She’s a great turn 4 card that can generate a lot of value once you play her - and especially if you build the deck around her.

She’s used in a lot of decks and she’s currently holding down her place in the meta. There are a lot of fun decks to build around her and if you bought this month’s Season Pass and have Nimrod, she’s really strong and versatile.

5.Shuri Nimrod

This deck is a classic deck centered around Shuri and Nimrod. Your main goal is to buff Nimrod and then swarm the board with the buffed up versions of him, but that’s not your only win condition because this deck is rather versatile and fun.

You primarily use Shuri to buff Nimrod and Black Panther and then proceed with your late game combos from there. You can either aim to swarm the board with Nimrods which is usually a lot of value since he’s not a weak card and especially if buffed with Shuri. Your other win condition is playing Wong and then Black Panther to double his power twice, you can then play Arnim Zola to get Black Panther on the other two locations to most probably secure them with a lot of power.

What Is Great About This Deck:

  • You have multiple win conditions with Nimrod and Black Panther. Both of them are pretty easy to get off and become way stronger if you use Shuri before playing either of them
  • Arnim Zola is a great finisher if you have either Nimrod or Black Panther on board. Nimrod will swarm your entire side of the board (and since he has 5 power that’s a really nice way to better your board state) and Black Panther will get his power doubled once more after you use Arnim Zola on him
  • If you play Black Panther on Wong’s location he will grow to be very big, but that’s not enough to win you the game - luckily if you have Taskmaster in your hand, you can go ahead and copy his power and secure another location
  • Venom or Carnage can also be used on the last turn to destroy Nimrod and let you get 2 copies of him on the other locations. This is also even better if you set up your location with Bucky Barnes to give you a little extra power so that you can contest that location as well

Card List:

  • Deadpool
  • Bucky Barnes
  • Psylocke
  • Carnage
  • Venom
  • Nakia
  • Shuri
  • Wong
  • Taskmaster
  • Black Panther
  • Nimrod
  • Arnim Zola

4.Negative

This deck combines Mister Negative with cards that have a high cost but low power, luckily a lot of cards in this deck combine with each other. This is a very fun take on Mister Negative that’s really fun to try if you’ve got all the cards necessary.

Psylocke and Zabu are both there to help you get Mister Negative out on turn 3, you need to have a little bit of luck to draw either of those and Mister Negative before turn 3, but even if you don’t you can still play Mister Negative on turn 4 and get a lot of value out of your plays with cards like Jubilee, Shuri and Iron Man. Combos that work well together are Iron Man into Mystique since if either of them get their cost swapped, you play a free card that doubles the power on a location and you also get a little more power on it as well.

What Is Great About This Deck:

  • You have ways of getting Mister Negative out earlier in the form of Psylocke and Zabu
  • Shuri helps out all of your combos which you will be able to see in the next few bullet points
  • You can play Black Panther and then play Arnim Zola after him to create two more of them with their power doubled once more, this is a great way of getting a lot of power on two locations, and if the cards have been altered by Mister Negative’s effect, you can do it for rather cheaply
  • Iron Man and Mystique are a great way to double power at 2 locations. Opponent’s decks will have a tough time trying to overpower those zones, since this deck is also good at bringing out big bodies on the board
  • You can play a big card like Black Panther (it’s even better if you play him on Wong’s location or if you double his power with Shuri) and after that you can play Taskmaster to copy his power and have two very strong bodies on two locations

Card List:

  • Psylocke
  • Zabu
  • Mystique
  • Mister Negative
  • Jubilee
  • Shuri
  • Wong
  • Iron Man
  • Taskmaster
  • Blue Marvel
  • Black Panther
  • Arnim Zola

3.Electroyer

This is a ramp deck with a few different win conditions. It’s a really fun deck to play since you always have some options to play. Shuri is a great card like always that can help you gain value faster and finish the game off with some powerful plays.

Let’s go into some of your main combos, obviously early on in the game your goal is to play Electro and hopefully draw some cards that can destroy him so that you can keep the bonus energy without having to play only a single card each turn. Playing Shuri into Black Panther will give you a big body on the board that you can then either copy with Taskmaster or destroy with Arnim Zola to get 2 even stronger Black Panthers on the board. You can also try to play Nimrod and either destroy him with Destroyer to get more copies and a very powerful card on the board, or you can also destroy him with Arnim Zola to get 2 copies of Nimrod on both other lanes.

What Is Great About This Deck:

  • You have multiple win conditions that you can get late in the game by playing a mix of Destroyer, Nimrod, Black Panther and Arnim Zola, all options bring a lot of value to the board
  • Wave and Electro help you get out some of your more expensive and important cards earlier in the game, so that you can set up strong combos like playing Destroyer early and then having the option to play Taskmaster on the next turn to get 2 cards with 15 power on board
  • Black Panther or Nimrod are the 2 best cards in the game that you can use with Arnim Zola since their effects synergize together perfectly
  • Shuri is a key card in this deck since she makes all of your strong combos way stronger like doubling the power of Black Panther or Nimrod and set up your further combos

Card List:

  • Sunspot
  • Venom
  • Electro
  • Wave
  • Deathlok
  • Shuri
  • Taskmaster
  • Black Panther
  • Nimrod
  • Arnim Zola
  • She-Hulk
  • Destroyer

2.Nimrod Galactus

If you by some chance invested in Galactus or if you’re lucky enough to have had him unlocked from a Collector’s Reserve - you can use him in this deck that is really good at finishing the game.

Your goal is obviously to leave a location open and set up the board for a late game Galactus. Even then, this deck doesn’t rely only on Galactus to bring you the victory, because you have an alternate win condition with Destroyer. The goal is to either play cards like Green Goblin and Hobgoblin on the location that you plan on playing Galactus. You can also play Nimrod which will get destroyed and moved to Galactus’ location - this is especially strong if you played Shuri before playing Nimrod to double his power and get even more value on the last remaining location.

What Is Great About This Deck:

  • You have multiple options to finish the game if you’ve set up your board. You can either play Galactus or Destroyer and they will both generate a LOT of value for you
  • Your alternate win condition with Galactus is filling up the location you plan on playing him with Green Goblin and Hobgoblin, it’s going to be hard for your opponent to come back from that, since you’d take up two of their spaces and give them -11 power
  • You can also play Nimrod on turn 5 (it’s even better if you used Shuri to double his power) and finish off on turn 6 with Deathlok and Venom which will generate a lot of copies of Nimrod on your side of the board
  • Your early game is pretty good since you can go ahead and play Bucky Barnes into Carnage to get a good amount of power on a single location, this can be a good backup if you don’t draw into your main cards and still think that you have chances of winning the game

Card List:

  • Nova
  • Bucky Barnes
  • Carnage
  • Wolverine
  • Green Goblin
  • Venom
  • Deathlok
  • Shuri
  • Hobgoblin
  • Nimrod
  • Galactus
  • Destroyer

1.Shuri Clone

This deck is currently monopolizing the meta along with Thanos-Lockjaw. It’s a very powerful deck that can bring out a lot of power in the later stages of the game. It’s just so powerful that very few decks can compete with it and it just overpowers your opponent with huge bodies on the board.

This deck is very easy to pilot and it just requires a little bit of luck with your draws. On turn 4 you’re going to want to play Shuri to double your next card’s power. On turn 5 you can either play Red Skull or you can skip the turn to play She-Hulk and Taskmaster on the 6th turn. If you did play Red Skull you can go ahead and play Taskmaster on the next turn to copy his 30 power and probably win the game.

What Is Great About This Deck:

  • It’s easy to pilot and your late game plays are simple yet very effective. Shuri lets you double the power of a card and you can play Taskmaster on the next turn to get another body on board with a lot of power
  • Your early game is important since the biggest part of this deck comes from playing around either Shang-Chi or Cosmo on the last turn. You can have a powerful early game if you’re expecting your opponent’s deck to run a Cosmo and you don’t want them to have reveal priority on the last turn.
  • Playing Zero and then Titania in early game is great at giving you a lot of power early on a location, you can also play Zero into Lizard to avoid him losing any power if your opponent clogs up that location
  • She-Hulk and Taskmaster on the last turn are very strong, especially if you played Shuri on the 4th turn to double She-Hulk’s power
  • Captain Marvel can be good at securing multiple locations, and she’s also your alternate win condition if you draw Shuri and Taskmaster but don’t draw cards like Red Skull and She-Hulk

Card List:

  • Sunspot
  • Zero
  • Titania
  • Armor
  • Lizard
  • Cosmo
  • Shuri
  • Taskmaster
  • Captain Marvel
  • Aero
  • Red Skull
  • She-Hulk
