[Top 5] Kenshi Best Towns That Are Great

Excellent place to relax in.

Kenshi can be a very exhausting game, especially after traveling from the Leviathan Coast to The Hook and beating the crap out of cannibals, Fogmen, Beak Things, and bandits along the way. Of course, after an adventure like that, you will want to rest and recover from your wounds, perhaps grab yourself a Foodcube and water it down with Grog.

That’s why you should visit a town and that’s exactly what I’ll be talking about today. The BEST towns in Kenshi - have a good read and cheers!

5. The Hub

Nostalgia.

The Hub is a piece of crap town, it contains Shinobi Thieves Tower and a bar. You can either join the guild or buy some weaponry and food from the bar. Why is a barely functioning town great? Because every single Kenshi player knows about this place - it’s the place where you first started, it’s the place that you crawled back to after getting almost clubbed to death by Starving Bandits, it is the place in which you bought yourself your first rusty katana, The Hub is the place that you first sold your copper ore to the Barman… This town is legendary.

Why The Hub is awesome:

  •  Nostalgic town
  •  The only place in the Border Zone that allows you to join the Shinobi Thieves
  •  Buy yourself some crap weaponry in the bar!

4. Squin

You’re not welcome here, :insertderagatorytermhere:

The Hub is great but it’s not gonna cut it, you need better gear and better med kits. When you arrive at Squin, you might be trash-talked by the Sheks and checked for drugs and stolen goods. Why is Squin good?

It’s filled with armor shops and weapon shops, bars, and general stores. It’s the first major town that you should visit after fiddling around The Hub for too long. Bring some cats with yourself and go on a shopping spree in Squin, yay!

Why Squin is awesome:

  •  Filled with useful shops, such as armory shops, weapon shops, etc
  •  Friendly Sheks all around
  •  Can bring criminals to the police station

3. Black Desert City

It’s great, just bring some acid-resistant clothes on!

BDC is located in Deadlands. If you’re a beginner in Kenshi, you might not know that BDC is under constant acidic rains that will melt your face and feet off - unless you’re an Hiver or a Skeleton. Despite the zone being barely habitable and utterly destroyed, BDC offers high-quality prosthetic limbs, food, and Tier 1/2 weaponry. An excellent place if you’re a thief or a wealthy man!

Why BDC is great:

  •  Can buy yourself high-quality prosthetics
  •  At the Scraphouse, you can buy yourself ancient artifacts that are great for your outpost
  •  Tier 1/2 weaponry can also be found at the Scraphouse

2. Clownsteady

A steady clown.

Clownsteady can be found in The Hook, controlled by the UC Samurais.

It’s filled with useful shops and the town is pretty small in general - like, very small. It’s filled with multiple properties that you can buy and live in and if you’re in a need of repair kits, weapons, and crossbows, then Clownsteady is definitely for you!

Why Clownsteady is awesome:

  •  The name itself is unique and cool
  •  High-quality, cutting weaponry can be found here
  •  Also some ranger weapons for you to buy(they’re usually selling high-grade stuff!)

1. World’s End

A lovely place habituated by Tech Hunters.

This is, in my opinion, the best town in the game. It’s located in the mountains in the Arm of Okran. You can find yourself useful armor and weaponry and also purchase a Small Shack or an L-House if you feel like living in there.

It has a few other shops and 4 bars in total, so if you get kicked out of a bar for starting crap, you can always visit the three other ones for some good ol’ Grog.

Also.. how did Tech Hunters survive for so long on the Holy Nation territory?

Why World’s End is great:

  •  One of the best weapon shops in the game
  •  Armor shops are also pretty good(not the best, though)
  •  4 bars in total and a unique dialogue with Iyo in the Science HQ.
