Dota 2 How To Disable Intro

When you start dota 2 there is a lengthy cutscene of heroes clashing and a considerably long loading, when your friends are waiting for you this is the last thing that you want to have on your screen. Cutscene might be exciting for the new players to see different heroes at once, however to the old veterans player this is just a waste of time, a hurdle that is stopping them from entering the game quickly. Skipping it is an easy task.

How it Works:

  • In your steam library right click on Dota 2 and click on properties.
  • In the general tab look for a space to the right, there is one at the bottom.
  • Type -novid, simply meaning no video, what this does is just skips the intro video all together and lets you in the game fairly quickly.
