Divinity: Original Sin 2 Trailer

As the title suggests, you become a God or Goddess in this game in order to stop the Veil from opening in Rivellon, which would allow the Void to vanquish everything. You begin as a prisoner destined for a horrible fate, but are saved when your prison boat is attacked by an unforeseen Kraken in the depths of the ocean.

Featuring unique races such as lizard people, skeletons, dwarves, elves, and humans each with their own unique buffs and weaknesses, everything is left in the hands of the player to determine who is going to save the world of Rivellon. Combining RPG elements with dungeon exploration, Divinity: Original Sin 2 continues the story and gameplay of the first Divinity, which featured the player character as a ‘Source Hunter’ (a hunter who tracked down Sourcerers in order to kill them and stop them from using an energy known as Source for evil) also ascended to Godhood. Divinity 2 takes place at the end when the Source Hunters leave the fabled First Garden in order to find a new adventure.

It’s also an open world game, so if you want to kill all the NPCS you encounter or save them, the decision is all yours to make. The game will react to your decisions, and either reward or punish you for them. You can also create your own maps, and download the maps that other players have made. It’s a rewarding series, and ascending to Godhood is only part of the endgame perks.

This lizard-man is only one of the four unique classes you can choose in game.

This dense map is stunning, isn’t it? It’s one of several environments present in Revellon.
