17. Salt

Salt is an exploration game with a mix of RPG and survival elements. It’s about the journey, waking up on an island, building a boat, and setting sail on an infinite, procedurally generated world discovering mysterious places and secrets throughout the world.

When it comes to crafting, you can craft various items, armor, consumables and weapons by combining materials. The crafting window appears over the craftable materials inventory. From here you can add the materials you want into the “Components” part of the crafting window by right-clicking. If it is possible to craft from the material you added then one or more recipes will appear in the “Recipes” window. Move your cursor over one of the recipes to see how much of the materials are required to craft it.  Once you have the amount of materials needed to craft the recipe, right click on it and select the amount you want to craft.

Set sail on the high seas.

Some items need more than 1 type of material to craft. You can craft things such as a pickaxe, a campfire, a compass, a dagger, a sailing boat, chests or an old pirate ship.

Explore large islands.

The game is currently in Early Access on Steam and features infinite, procedurally generated worlds, customizable ships, quests with bosses, hunting, fishing and more. A full storyline is planned as well as a multiplayer mode.
