5) Route Runner

The Route Runner archetype highlights the fact that this player can get open, however, and whenever he wants to. If you like to throw anywhere with a field general at QB, use this player card to create the ultimate offense. 

Keys: 

• Choose plays that complement this receiver to getting open.
• Change up the hot routes if you see an opening in the defense. 
• You can always choose this player before the snap and control him before the throw. 

4) Hybrid

To keep your opponent in check, you need a good safety watching the breakaway pass. A player with a Hybrid archetype is faster, more aware, and will dominate the man and zone coverage. 

Strengths:

• Master the lurk with this safety and he’ll do whatever it takes to get the ball. 
• Time that interception button just right and make your opponent angry. 
• Change up your personnel so your safety favors your opponents’ best receiver’s side of the field. 

3) Elusive

Halfbacks with the Elusive archetype are quicker and easier to use than any other player in the game. Breakthrough your opponent’s defense and juke your way into the end zone with the Elusive archetype. 

Points:

• Use those juke maneuvers for extra pop.
• Mix your strafe (LT) and sprint (RT) to find those holes. 
• Use the right stick with the left bumper to get your man juking his defenders. 

2) Run Support

Another key to defense, this archetype turns your DB’s into shut down defenders. Use this archetype to shut down your opponent’s favorite receiver and dominate the game. 

Strategies:

• DB’s are the best way to practice and perfect the lurk. 
• Make sure to pick a nickel defense so your Db’s are in the perfect spots.
• If you can’t get the interception, use that hit stick to level the ball carrier and hope for the fumble.

1) Improviser 

A great quarterback can change games by knowing how to get out of a jam. Run faster, throw more accurate on the run, and throw better under pressure with the improviser archetype. 

How to use:

• Your QB is stellar on the run. Run out of the pocket and still be confident in his arm. 
• Make sure to keep an eye on your QB, he’ll stun you and your opponent with his movements. 
• Use your different throwing variations to change up your throws.
