With every group of heavy hitters, one or two supports are game-changing in battle.  The Support + Combo Mage build is exactly what it sounds like; with heavy use in frost attacks like winter’s grasp and ice Mine, you set your warriors up for shatter combos to stack up damage, and the offensive Storm spells can paralyze enemies for a second or two. Barrier and Revival are a must-have to keep your allies alive, but with the Desperation upgrade for Revival, they come back with a massive bonus to damage.

A Maul is the best weapon for this build, seeing as it does little AOE damage and with the combination of Mighty Blow and Earthquake you can knock down enemies before they have a chance to blink. You gain good mobility with this build with the Combat Roll and using Grappling Chain can keep the meanest ones hitting you so your friends can attack from the sidelines.

Reaver is a tricky specialization to use, as it involves losing health to heal more damage. But with the Sword and Shield weapon choice, you have a bonus to defense that a Two-Handed weapon doesn’t have and managing your health to rain hurt on your enemies becomes less frightening than it looks. Being a Reaver means your goal is to deal as much damage as possible, so the Payback Strike and Shield Bash moves are an essential complement, and the War Cry ability can help build guard so you can stay alive long enough to rip your enemies to shreds.
