In this article, we would be discussing the different difficulties in Pro Evolution Soccer. There are six levels in the game: beginner, amateur, top player, professional, superstar, and legend. While Beginner is for the amateurs, the amateur level is more like an advanced beginner level, and professional difficulty is an advanced top player difficult level. It’s also the same with superstar and Legend difficulty levels. Therefore, there are six different difficulty levels; however, the difficulty levels can group them as three, and we will discuss them and decide on the best one for you to choose when playing. 

3. Beginner/Amateur

There is no need to describe the persons in this group. They are terrified, and they have little or no understanding of how the game function. Those people that when you hand out controllers and they ask you, "Which one is pass, shoot, block, or kick?" You don't want to be near them when they're playing because they'll bug you with questions. The majority of persons in this group are unwilling to learn (except kids and starters ). At this level, you have to play the game consistently and im sure that if you play four hours every day for thirty days, you would be ready to move on to the next difficult level.

How It Works 

• The opponent’s defence AI is low
• The opponent’s attack AI is low
• The opponent’s goalkeeping Ai is low
• The opponent’s passes and shots are not often accurate
• A 40 percent striker can outrun a 95% rated defender 

Choose This Difficulty If

• If you are just starting on the game
• If you want to understand how the controls work
• If you want to learn about the positioning of players on the pitch

2. Top player/ Professional 

Some people in this category only want to play to pass the time or relieve tension, and they don't want to add to their everyday stress. They simply want to utilize the game to escape from the outside world for a time. There are also passionate players in this group who play to familiarize themselves with the game before diving into it fully in the toughest mode. It is a very nice difficulty level, and someone aspiring to be a gamer should go lower than this. At this point, you can play games with many people both offline and online, as there are also a lot of people in this category.

• The opponent’s attack AI is average
• The opponent’s goalkeeping Ai is average
• The opponent’s passes and shots are averagely accurate 
• The gameplay is a bit tougher than the lower level

Choose This Difficulty If

• If you are just starting on the game.  
• If you want to understand how tough the players can get in legend difficulty level. 
• If you are aspiring to be very good at the game.

1.  Superstar/legend 

This level is the most difficult in the game. Simply, you can’t consider yourself a pro gamer if you can’t confidently play in this mode. To be considered great in the game, you should win a league competition in this difficulty with a lower-level team and be at the top six with a team like Burnley. The be an expert in this level, you have to have mastered the act of defending because when the opposition strikers are in the box, it’s almost impossible to stop them from scoring. Again they shoot at the angles where your keeper can’t go; therefore, the best way is to keep them outside your box, which means you have to dominate the game by passing around and counter-attacking your opponents.

• The opponent’s passes and shots are mostly accurate
• The gameplay is a bit tougher than the lower level

Choose This Difficulty If

• If you are just experienced at the professional difficult.  
• If you want to understand how difficult pro gamers can be. 
• If you aspire to be very good at the game and want to challenge yourself to be better than many people.

If you’re not a pro gamer, we advise that you should try getting very familiar with the difficulty level in the master league mode. Make sure to play at least three seasons with professional difficulty. When you feel very comfortable winning matches, you should then tweak the settings to Superstar or legend, and from that point, make sure to not look back at any other difficulty level.
