[Top 10] CS2 Best Guns For Killstreaks

Best CS2 Guns Killstreaks

What are the best guns in CS2?

One of the top game modes of this game, and the former game (Counter Strike: Global Offensive) is the mode deathmatch.

There are 2 types of deathmatch modes; team-based and ffa.

You get points by getting kills and not dying, therefore you want to know which guns are good to use and which ones to avoid.

Let’s break it down.

10. MAC-10

  • Weapon Type: Submachine Gun
  • Weapon Affiliation: Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $1,050

Coming up first on the list of good and fun guns to use to get killstreaks in CS2 is the MAC-10. This weapon is a submachine gun that can only be bought by the terrorist side. It costs $1,050 in-game which actually makes it a very cheap option considering the power it puts out. This gun has a magazine capacity of 30 bullets and can actually spray quite fast. The whole idea of this weapon is “Run-and-Gun”.

9. MP9

  • Weapon Type: Submachine Gun
  • Weapon Affiliation: Counter-Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $1,200

Sliding up next is the Counter-Terrorist’s MP9. This gun is the partner weapon to the MAC-10 meaning that the whole idea of this weapon is to “Run-and-Gun” as well. This weapon costs slightly more, but boasts a harder punch than the MAC-10. It shoots a little faster, is a little more accurate and is generally easier to control, especially while running and in close quarters.

8. Tec-9

  • Weapon Type: Pistol
  • Weapon Affiliation: Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $500

Just because this weapon is in the number 8 spot doesn’t mean it isn’t a total powerhouse. Despite just being a pistol that the Terrorist team can buy, it can really kill some enemies. It shoots very fast and spits out some high damage. It is extremely inaccurate though so you may want to get close to the enemy if you can. Try camping corners and close quarter areas because if close enough this weapon can 1-hit headshot.

7. Desert Eagle

  • Weapon Type: Pistol
  • Weapon Affiliation: Terrorist / Counter-Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $700

Next up is what we in the community like to call the “Pocket AWP”. This is the Desert Eagle and it is the sniper of pistols. It costs nearly as much as a submachine gun in the game but this gun is absolutely worth the value. If you care about skins this weapon also has some of the coolest skins in the game too. It is a 1-hit headshot from large distances, and this weapon is VERY accurate. If you have steady aim you can rack up the kills with the Desert Eagle.

6. PP-Bizon

  • Weapon Type: Submachine Gun
  • Weapon Affiliation: Terrorist / Counter-Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $1,400

Next up in the list is the all-powerful PP-Bizon. Anyone in the game can buy this weapon, and let me just say, it should always be in your loadout. This weapon packs an impressive 64 bullets per magazine. That means you can spray and pray all day with this bad boy. As if that wasn’t enough, it only costs $1,400 in game so it is a steal on any round. If you haven’t tried the PP-Bizon yet you are missing out.

5. P90

  • Weapon Type: Submachine Gun
  • Weapon Affiliation: Terrorist / Counter-Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $2,350

This gun is the more sophisticated PP-Bizon. If the PP-Bizon is all about running around and mindlessly spraying with your massive magazine and low accuracy, then this gun is all about dominating the map with high accuracy and rate of fire. This weapon also has a very large magazine, topping out at 50 bullets per clip. This weapon deals damage very quickly and wins most dogfights in close quarters combat. It is, however, almost double the price of the PP-Bizon, so it’s up to you to decide which one you prefer.

4. AWP

  • Weapon Type: Sniper Rifle
  • Weapon Affiliation: Terrorist / Counter-Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $4,750

This weapon packs the hardest hit in the entire game. The AWP is known all around in and out of CS2. There are a handful of games that reference the AWP and it has become a large part of gamer culture in general. The AWP is a 1-hit kill on the body, legs, arms and head. It requires re-chambering after every shot, and since it is a sniper rifle you don’t get a crosshair while using it. You must use the scope to see. It also only has 5 bullets in the magazine but this weapon really kicks ass. If you’re into weapon skins, the AWP has the coolest and most renowned skins in the entire game.

3. M4A1-S

  • Weapon Type: Machine Gun
  • Weapon Affiliation: Counter-Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $2,900

Within Counter Strike there are 2 different types of M4’s. The M4A1-S is the less expensive but also slightly less powerful of the 2. This M4 is slightly different from the other one because this one has a removable silencer, but notably also has slightly less damage and a much smaller magazine. This weapon will generally kill in 4-5 body shots and usually 1 headshot or so. The silencer is actually removable, slightly changing the accuracy and damage output of the gun, but that requires enabling a special setting in the game and is also seen as a general down-grade.

2. M4A4

  • Weapon Type: Machine Gun
  • Weapon Affiliation: Counter-Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $3,100

The M4A4 is the slightly more expensive and powerful M4. This one does not have a silencer and boasts a magazine size of 30 bullets. This weapon has slightly more damage than its silenced counterpart so that means this weapon kills in about 3-4 body shots and usually 1 headshot. The extra cost just isn’t worth the slight damage boost. The value you get is from the extra magazine size. It should be noted that this M4 and the other M4 have different spray patterns.

1. AK-47

  • Weapon Type: Machine Gun
  • Weapon Affiliation: Terrorist
  • Price In-Game: $2,700

The AK-47 is easily the best weapon in the game. If for whatever reason you can only get good at 1 weapon within Counter Strike the weapon that you should choose is the AK-47. This weapon is a 1-hit headshot and is quite accurate, even at long ranges. The spray pattern is actually pretty simple and the magazine is large with 30 bullets. This weapon also only costs $2,700 but it can only be bought on the Terrorist side. If the Counter-Terrorists win the round in competitive modes, they often opt to save AK’s over M4’s because the AK’s are more powerful.
