[Top 10] CS2 Best Agents Skins to Have

Best CS2 Agent Skins

The best CS2 agent skins that you should have!

If you have played Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Counter Strike 2 (CS2), or have even just browsed the Steam community market you have probably seen something called agent skins. You may have even seen how much they cost or you may have seen the variety of the agents that they have to offer. While these skins may offer no advantage within the game, it can still be daunting to choose which one is for you. This guide aims to help you pick the right CS2 agent skin without breaking your budget.

Agent skins, what are they?

CS2 agent skins are cosmetic variances of your player model. They simply change how you look in the game. They do not give any advantages or stat buffs, it is functionally the same as having no skin at all. The only key differences are again, you change how your character looks, and for some agent skins you can change your characters voice lines in game.

Out of the two cosmetic changes that equipping an agent skin makes (appearance and voice lines), the voice lines are considerably more noticeable than your player model. This is because most of the time while you are playing you are focused on combat and not so much how people look. This is why the voice lines are a lot more prominent and, in some cases, they can be pretty funny. Therefore this guide will focus heavily on ranking the agents based on their unique voice lines and not so much on how they look. It also just depends on your preference too! If you find that you’d prefer an agent skin based on appearance rather than voice lines I’ll be sure to put a good mix in the rankings.

Some rarer and more expensive agents even have little emotes that you can watch them do at the end of the game when it recaps all of the stats. Again, most of this stuff is pretty minor changes, that’s why it’s important to know all of your options when purchasing an agent skin, and this guide will present you with the best choices. It should also be noted that each team (Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists) have their own individual player models and they cannot be combined. Each agent skin has an affiliation as either Terrorist (T-Sided) or Counter Terrorist (CT-Sided) and this cannot be changed. Take that into consideration when picking out an agent skin as well.

10. Jungle Rebel | Elite Crew

Coming in at number 10 is the terrorist sided Jungle Rebel | Elite Crew. It is a pretty basic and standard T sided model with a couple of cool features. He’s sporting a green shirt with a pretty fly hair style but other than that there aren’t too many notable features. This agent doesn’t even have unique voice lines. This agent is great for those who don’t care too much about voice lines and just want a way to look a little more unique without breaking the bank.

9. 3rd Commando Company | KSK

Next up we have a pretty similarly ranked counter-terrorist agent, 3rd Commando Company | KSK. This is the lowest grade agent skin, and just like the last agent has no special voice lines or animations. This agent skin is for those who want to be a little unique on the CT side without breaking the bank. He’s got a bandana and a headset instead of the usual gas mask that dons the default player model.

8. Lieutenant ‘Tree Hugger’ Farlow | SWAT

Now we’re getting into the interesting agents as from this point on all of them will have unique voice lines. This agent is Lieutenant ‘Tree Hugger’ Farlow | SWAT. She is part of the counter-terrorist team. She is seen here sporting some forestry camo as well as some face paint to further the effectiveness. While this doesn’t really help you in game it still looks pretty cool though!
She has very silly voice lines for example, instead of the default “affirmative” one of the things she says is “darn tootin’”. She also has a pretty strong Canadian accent that you can clearly hear in all of her voice lines. She is an absolutely solid candidate for a CT agent, in fact, this is the one that I personally use.

7. Little Kev | The Professionals

Number 7 is a little on the pricey end but don’t let that sway you. Little Kev | The Professionals has to be one of the coolest lower tier agent skins in the game, and the higher price is due to how old the skin is. This came out with the Broken Fang operation which was released over 4 years ago. He also has unique voice lines and is fun to play in the game. Just look at that hardcore beard.

6. Elite Trapper Solman | Guerrilla Warfare

Let’s get one thing clear, Elite Trapper Solman | Guerrilla Warfare has to be the jazziest agent skin within CS2. Donning his Hawaiian shirt, unbuttoned no less. He is a bit on the expensive end, but because the CS2 market is more or less player driven it just means that it’s a rarer and higher quality agent skin to have.
His voice lines are okay. They are unique and different from the default voice lines, however they are somewhat boring. They are very simple which might just tie back to the character that Solman is.If you want the beach bum look Solman is the agent for you.

5. Lieutenant Rex Krikey | Seal Frogman

Lieutenant Rex Krikey | Seal Frogman brings some serious value to the table, easily securing the number 5 spot. Not only does he have a cool cowboy hat and diving gear, but his voice lines are quite unique and really match his character quite well. He’s priced relatively low compared to other agent skins of the same tier which makes him a very solid choice of agent skin without having to break the bank.
What makes his voice lines so unique is the strong Australian accent that he has. It really just adds to the voice lines when you hear “Sniper!” in such a strong accent.

4. Safecracker Voltzmann | The Professionals

Sliding right in at the number 4 spot is Safecracker Voltzmann | The Professionals. She is literally unhinged. This agent skin allows you to play as the most insane person within this game. All of her voice lines are quite sarcastic and crazed. She jokes about death and other serious things quite frequently, so if you have a side for darker humor this agent is for you. Personally, this is the one that I use myself for the terrorist side.
She says silly things like, “Well thank you, my friend in crime.”

3. Lt. Commander Ricksaw | NSWC SEAL

Number 3 gets into some serious business with Lt. Commander Ricksaw | NSWC SEAL. He is one of the most cheerful and uplifting agent skins in the game. At the end of the game he even has a little dance animation which only a select handful of agent skins have. His voice lines are funny and not serious, but he can get serious when he needs to.
Some voice lines include; “Yuuup, still the best '' and “hahaha, oooh, I love y’all”. Let it be known that some characters and agent skins have dozens of voice lines, so at around $9, Ricksaw is a very solid choice.

2. Sir Bloody Skullhead Darryl | The Professionals

This agent skin, Sir Bloody Skullhead Darryl | The Professionals is a solid spot for the number 2 contender. He is donning a mask that is painted with a skull to intimidate the enemies. What makes him unique from other agent skins is definitely his voice lines. His character himself is a little sarcastic and cocky and he also has a very strong British accent.

Even in his flavor text he says that “he’s just a bloke”. He has lines such as “There’s a bloody sniper here” and “I can see multiple idiots in this general area”. If you don’t mind spending a little more for a really funny and different agent skin, Bloody Darryl is the one for you.

1. Cmdr. Davida ‘Goggles’ Fernandez | SEAL Frogman

I would like to say that all agent skins had a fair chance to be in the number 1 spot, but this agent skin absolutely blows them out of the water. Cmdr. Davida ‘Goggles’ Fernandez | SEAL Frogman has to be the best agent skin in the game, or at the very least for the Counter-Terrorist team. Do not let her silly outward appearance fool you, she is cool, calm and collected. This agent skin beats out the others for 2 specific reasons. The end of match animation, and the voice lines.
The voice lines are hardcore. Sometimes when the round starts she’ll say “Let’s teach these shitheads how to die” and if that doesn’t motivate you for a strong round I’m not sure what will. Her end of match animation is completely not hardcore. It’s just funny to watch someone jump around in swimming gear, especially since most of the maps don’t even have water.

She is one of the most expensive agent skins, but it is well worth it if you have the budget.
