[Top 10] Disney's Dreamlight Valley Best Vegetables To Sell

What Are The  Best Vegetables To Sell Disney's Dreamlight Valley

Gardening Dreamlight Valley’s best and most lucrative way to earn star coins in your valley and make use of them in a variety of ways. However, what are the best vegetables to have growing in your Valley garden to yield the most reward, that's not to say they all don’t play a part for they do. But here are the vegetables that are the top ten best ones to earn star coins and in turn be able to purchase the rest for all your cooking needs.

10. CarrotsHow Every Game Starts at the Beginning

As the very first biome and, in turn, the very first vegetable you're able to start growing, carrots are by far the best beginner crop. As soon as you open up the peaceful meadow and go through Goofy’s storyline quest to get his first stall up and running, the very first seed you can purchase from him is the carrot seed. It's a great starter because it only costs 10-star coins to purchase these seeds. For every harvest, they sell for 44 star coins. If you make a big enough garden to make several stacks of your harvest, the payout will be worth it. Even simply clearing away any night thorns to make room for your garden will help you get more than enough star coins to purchase as many seeds as you can plot out your garden and start growing your carrots. Another perk to this starter vegetable is that one of the very first recipes you get calls for vegetables, so using carrots to help complete it will make it that much easier.

The last perk to the carrots is if you save enough of them after you use them to make enough star coins to progress through your game, you can use them to feed the rabbits in Peaceful Meadow every day they change to different colors. You will see them hopping up and down a distance from you, and when you approach, they will play a mini-game of chase with you. When the game is over, you feed them a carrot, and they are very happy with you. Continue to do this, and you will earn yourself an adorable pet to accompany you all over your valley.

9. Chili PepperSeems like our sun-soaked biome also comes with a spicy vegetable

After you have unlocked the peaceful meadow and gone through the storyline quest in regards to its pillar Merlin will then inform you of the dream shards and how they are used to reawaken your valley by removing the giant night thorns blocking the rest of the biomes and your valley. The first choices you have are the first five available to you Dazzle Beach, Glade of Trust, Forest of Valor, and Sunlit Plateau, each one comes with a certain amount of dream shards needed to be unlocked. One of the recommended options is the Sunlit Plateau to gain access to the most sought-after biome later in the game but the other is for this spicy vegetable the Chili Pepper. After you have unlocked the peaceful meadow and gone through the storyline quest regarding its pillar, Merlin will then inform you of the dream shards and how they are used to reawaken your valley by removing the giant night thorns blocking the rest of the biomes and your valley.

The first choices you have are the first five available to you: Dazzle Beach, Glade of Trust, Forest of Valor, and Sunlit Plateau. Each one comes with a certain amount of dream shards to be unlocked. One of the recommended options is the Sunlit Plateau to gain access to the most sought-after biome later in the game, but the other is for this spicy vegetable, the Chili Pepper. Like with the carrot seed, once you have unlocked the plateau, you will see another one of Goofy’s stalls in severe need of repair.

Once you have enough star coins, fix up his stall, however many times you need to gain access to the Chili Pepper seed, seeing as how it's located on the top part of the stall; it’s likely to be the first one you get to. Once again, purchasing as many of these seeds as you can after you have earned enough from your carrots shouldn’t be too hard, as the carrots only cost 20-star coins per seed pack. Its selling price is 78-star coins, which is well worth the low purchase cost to buy the seeds. In addition, it only takes up to 45 minutes for the peppers to finish growing. Granted, with the help of the Miracle Elixir Growth potion, that is no longer a worry. Of which you can obtain by fully unlocking the Sunlit Plateau, so yet one more reason to have this biome be the second one you get to.

8. OkraGoing down to the Glade for this southern staple of a vegetable

The Glade of Trust is the third recommended biome to go for to get this next vegetable: Okra. As with the first two, once you open this biome and repair Goofy’s stall enough to purchase the vegetable seed, make enough plots to plant and grow your okra. Now, even I at first didn’t think it was worth it due to the price to purchase the seed is way higher than what it sells for. But each yield of okra comes in three, meaning each time you harvest just one plot of okra, you get three okra instead of just one.

As a result, the selling price goes up to 342-star coins and makes gaining a full stack of them much easier. As such, with a much larger selling price due to the yield, it is worth it to purchase and grow this vegetable as your third choice and means to earn star coins in your valley. The other perk to this vegetable is it also is a core ingredient to the famous gumbo, a dish you can also use to sell, refill your energy meter, and use as gifts.

7. OnionA layered vegetable that as always has more to offer than it looks

The next biome to consider unlocking after the first two is the Forest of Valor to obtain this vegetable seed, the onion. As with the others, once you open the biome and repair and upgrade Goofy’s stall, the seeds will be available to purchase. Unfortunately, it only yields one onion per harvest, but with a cost of just 50-star coins and a selling price of 170, it's another very cost-effective vegetable to use. It is also one of the vegetables that can be used in a puff, as well as in our resident Little Chef’s iconic dish Ratatouille.

As such, it is a vegetable to have available to you to sell as is and have ready for the dishes it can be used in and in turn used for energy or to sell for more starcoins. The full harvest on your own will give you 1,360-star coins, but when paired up with a garden buddy, that harvest will get bigger. As such, again, something to bear in mind with this cost-effective and very lucrative vegetable before you go to the next biomes to be unlocked.

6. PotatoA Hearty Vegetable from a Hearty Biome

Now we come to the second layer of biome unlocking which consists of the Frosted Heights and the Forgotten Lands. Depending on which one you want to go for also decides on which seeds you will gain access to. As with the others after unlocking the biomes and upgrading and repairing Goofy’s stall the seeds will be available to purchase. In this case that would be the potato seed. This starchy vegetable is another great cost-effective vegetable to make use of till you can get to the other seeds you wish to purchase. With a purchase price of 55-star coins per seed, a selling price of 129, and a growth speed of 35 minutes, even with its low selling price, it is still a worthwhile crop to use.

Another perk to this vegetable is it is used in a lot of dishes, including the puffs which, as always, are a very lucrative thing to sell, which is again something to bear in mind. Now I never got around to it, but there is a hidden quest regarding colored potatoes and a potion quest that comes with each one. They are secret quests you can, if you wish, complete to be able to make the potions that correspond with each potato. I will try out this quest when I can, so it is something to consider for yourself as well.

5. AsparagusGuess the cold doesn’t bother this vegetable either

The Asparagus is a great vegetable to go for next located in the final secondary biome to unlock the Frosted Heights. As per usual once you have unlocked the biome and repaired and upgraded Goofy’s stall the Asparagus seeds will be available to purchase. You can also gain their seeds for free by removing the night thorns in this biome which reappear every day either way once you have enough seeds to plant make our farm plot or use the one you already have set up plant them and either wait for them to finish growing which admittedly is quite a wait time of 2 hours and 15 minutes but with the help of your Miracle Elixir Growth that is no longer an issue. With a yield of three asparagus per harvest the total earned from selling it is 200- star coins each and again with the help of a garden partner will make that harvest a very hearty one indeed.

4. CucumberAnother cool vegetable from this chilly Biome

Yet another cost-effective vegetable that is a great fallback if you're low on star coins from purchasing items, from Scrooge’s shop materials from Kristoff. Any reason could be the cause, and this failsafe vegetable is a great fallback to pick up star coins easily and effectively. Either way, with a cost price of 55 and a selling price of 159 per harvest, more with the help of a garden buddy, it will easily get you back up to more star coins or restore what you lost during the progression of your game and get you back on track for the rest of the game. It is also used and can be used in quite a few dishes, so it’s another one that shouldn’t be overlooked even with its long growth time, but again with the help of your Elixir potion, that is no longer a problem.

3. EggplantFrosted Height's most profitable vegetable

This vegetable is a very lucrative crop despite its expensive cost, and again with the help of cost-effective crops, can help you build up to purchasing enough of this seed to make the cost very doable. Once you have enough seeds, make your plots or use the ones already set up to plant and grow your eggplants. The full harvest sells for 308 star coins and when turned into an eggplant puff will also reward you with even more star coins. It is also used in several dishes, one of them, of course, being Ratatouille which you can also use to make star coins or give to customers in Remy’s restaurant to increase their friendship with you. Now the biggest drawback is their growth time of 3 hours, but again with the help of your elixir growth that is not a problem at all and can help you with a garden buddy to give you a very rewarding harvest to sell and store away for any recipes that call for this vegetable.

2. PotatoA hearty onion for a hearty land

Now we return to the King biome, and like the King biome, it is the Forgotten Lands that have two of the most profitable but costly crops to get but are worth it with the support of all the means to get and earn star coins to get them. For this one, the Leek seed costs 120 per seed pack and only yields one leek; however, the selling price for just one of them is 309 star coins. And if you make a large enough garden the yield and selling price will easily grow depending on the size of the garden and how many seeds you purchased. In addition, it is also used in quite a few recipes, including one that is used with the other vegetables available in this very biome, such is all the more reason to grow as many of them as you can to sell, cook meals with, and finally use on its own to restore energy. A single leek can restore up to 288 plus energy, so having a small stack on hand will also benefit you in doing any tasks to be done around your valley including continuing to plant and harvest more leeks.

1. PumpkinThe King Crop for the King Biome

The King crop and vegetable indeed everyone's favorite orange squash comes through yet again and where building up all those dream shards and star coins was leading up to. With a cost price of 275, it is a hard-earned seed and vegetable to get but no less rewarding with a whopping 664 selling price, a large enough supply of seeds, and a garden big enough for all of them. You're looking at a profit of up to one million star coins, almost five million if you save on selling them till you have almost all if not your entire inventory full of pumpkin harvest stacks.

Adding to this is all the pumpkin dishes you can make with this vegetable from the puffs to pumpkin soup every dish that has this vegetable in it will also yield you a lucrative amount of star coins for each dish you sell and again with the fact they stack means the amount will double. The growth period was the biggest hiccup to navigate before the Elixir was introduced but even without using the elixir if you plan out your planting times you will still yield a nice harvest two times a day. And of course, with the help of a garden buddy harvests will always be nice and big every time ensuring with or without the elixir your harvest and in turn the payout will be well worth it. And as always make sure to have enough stored away for dishes you wish to make even outside of using them to restore your energy or use as gifts it is always beneficial to have some saved on the side for other things outside of selling them.

There you have it. These are my top ten best vegetables to sell for profit in your valley as well as what choices to make for what biomes to unlock after you unlock the Peaceful Meadow as your starter one. But make no mistake as with all the biomes, tasks/roles, gems, ores, and materials every vegetable and crop plays a part they are all needed in the game one way or another. So make full use of these profitable vegetables and let them help you gain the other crops, materials, and more you will need to fully awaken your valley to its fullest.
