Disney's Dreamlight Valley Best Ways To Get Iron Ore [Top 5 Ways]

What Are The Best Ways To Get Iron Ore In Disney's Dreamlight Valley

Iron Ore, a material ingredient even older than the game, and like its fellow open sandbox type of games iron ore is essential to crafting just about every crafting recipe in the game. And essential for quests and for helping to design and in my case keep your valley clean. I for one needed it to make a very helpful item. The storage chest in my Valley home is filled with chests thanks to this material. However, acquiring said material is the tricky part so here are my top five best ways I’ve personally found in harvesting this essential material.

5. Mining Route

We dig, dig, dig, and we mine the whole day through

As the old iconic Snow White song says, mine the ore. The valley has eight biomes that you will need to unlock to progress the game. The very first tool you're asked to find is the Pickaxe. Upon retrieving it, you'll unlock the first biome, the Peaceful Meadow. By completing your first dream shard quest, you find out why you need those shards, which is to unlock the other biomes essential for obtaining iron ore. Five biomes in total can be used to farm for iron ore. However, deposits take a few minutes to respawn, so doing a circuit is advised. While waiting for specific biomes to respawn their deposits, you can also harvest gems and other materials with this routine. Keep an eye on The Glade of Trust, The Frosted Heights, the Forest of Valor, the Sunlit Plateau, and the Forgotten Lands. Experiment with each to see which yields a greater amount.

4. Mines in Sunlit Plateau

With new updates come new options and routes to take

With the addition of Scar to the game and his Nature and Nurture quest, a new mining tunnel in the Sunlit Plateau was introduced. This fun little mining spot is beneficial for gathering gems, Vitalys crystals, and, most importantly, ore. Adding this mine to your route is very helpful for all the materials. Moreover, it expands the areas available for farming, and with more updates along the way, there are bound to be more ways to obtain this and other necessary materials in the future.

3. Kristoffs Stall

Once again Kristoff is another big help

Kristoff’s stall is another option to consider, provided you have the funds for it. Upgrading it pays off just like Goofy’s seed stall. It's random what he has available, so checking in occasionally is worthwhile. Grab iron ore or ingots if available before the stock changes. It's random but a route to consider. I made quite some use of his stall to help me get my materials in the past, so it would be beneficial for anyone to consider his stall as an option.

2. Max-level Mining Buddy

The support system of your valley helping out as always

Select a mining partner and farm for iron ore at any recommended biomes or from the mines. With their assistance, not only does it make the task fun, but they also increase the yield every time you finish mining a deposit. The game also makes it even more fun with the music they play as you mine with your mining buddy.

1. Miracle Pickaxe Polish

Helping your potion-making skills and your tasks at the same time

This, along with other miracle potions, is by far the best thing introduced to the game. Apply the potion to your pickaxe, and with your partner, visit the designated biomes and mines. By the time you complete one circuit, your inventory will be full of iron ore, gold ore, gems, and other materials. Re-energize yourself, sell or store any surplus materials or gems, and continue the circuit until you have enough ore for quests and crafting. With this potion's help and your mining buddy, this task just got a lot easier and more efficient and above all fun.

So there you have it, my top five best ways to farm iron ore for all the crafting you need. With this guide, I hope people will find it useful and fun as they enjoy their valley and the game.
