About - Michael Bertrand: Born in 1973, Michael is almost as old as video games themselves. He's been playing them since he was old enough to see the top third of the screen on Space Invaders and over the years he has played it all, from electronic gizmos with flashing lights for displays to the latest hotness for the PC. As a writer, he's a graduate from the Vancouver Film School's Writing for Movies and Television program, and as part of that, he took a course on writing for video games. He's sampled nearly every kind of game that doesn't involve bass but his first love will always be RPGs.. Action or turn based, fantasy or sci fi, 3D or isometric, he loves them all. He's played almost 1,700 hours of Elder Scrolls Online and only stopped playing Fallout 76 because he had literally done everything in the game, He loves writing about games because he's highly opinionated about them and writing about them makes him feel like his opinions are important.
