The best kind of games in her opinion, of course, involve a simplistic, cartoony style that ropes characters into plot-inducing hijinks. The kind of games that would serve sweet dreams once the person has played for hours on end and needs a quick nap. Her definite favorites are those involving cute (or ugly cute) characters working together to stop a Big Bad with non-blood-spilling violence. The kind that kids adore but adults adore twice as much. Thousands of hours were spent playing these kind of games, and a thousand more just to reach 100% completion. Often she would write about these particular games due some people having refused to play them mainly because “they look stupid”. That or these games are often overshadowed by the more popular franchises, leaving lesser known ones without a spotlight. A good feeling is what Manares wants to provide to fellow readers who witness her work. She has committed years to bringing happy, enjoyable type of writing that would encourage people to follow in her experience.
