Call of Duty Vanguard has been out since 5 November 2021, giving players plenty of time to have gotten a feel for the game, its weapons, recoil patterns, metas, and quirks. 

On Friday, 11 February 2022, Call of Duty announced the release of the BETA for Call of Duty Vanguard Ranked Mode.

This announcement makes perfect sense when considering the fact that players have had time to get a good grip on the game, and that the world of first-person shooters is becoming more and more competitive as esports become bigger and more popular.

According to developers, the BETA will officially release on Thursday, 17 February 2022. Reportedly, the ranked BETA will feature a variety of different modes, including “4v4 CDL Hardpoint, CDL Search & Destroy, and CDL Control.” Ranked gameplay is based on that in the ‘Call of Duty League.’

Furthermore, players will be able to earn Ranked rewards that will be available both in ‘Vanguard’ and in ‘Warzone,’ allowing players to show off their skill across both games.  In addition to this, there will be two 50-player ranked ladders per week, with players being placed into ladders matching their skill level.

‘Call of Duty Vanguard’ developers reported on the ‘Vanguard Ranked’ blog post that the mode includes 7 skill divisions, similar to Apex Legends. However, there are plans to add an additional division for the top 250 ranked players in Vanguard to set the best apart from the rest.
