A cave at the edge of the woods is rumored to have great treasures, and so our unlikely heroes set out to claim a piece of it. None have ever returned from said cave, and you’re dying to be the first.

Allow me to get this out of the way first: Vagante features permanent death. Still reading? Good, because the other features include local and online co-op, character customization, unique challenges related to the storyline, and fast-paced and strategic combat. This 2D dungeon crawler is reminiscent of diving deep into dank caves and crawling through unforgiving tunnels equipped with a lantern, a sword, and your wits.

Vagante will test you. You’ll need to learn and understand enemy attack animations, evade deadly traps, find merchants in the dark, and platform all at the same time in order to survive. But the sweet feeling of emerging from the malicious caves with gold in your pockets is no alien feeling to players of this game. Even if it sounds difficult, I encourage you to try it out.
