Yet another tale of intrigue – although this mystery amps up the stakes a bit when things get political and the higher echelons of Markarth’s power system are quickly caught in the unravelling plot. The Forsworn Conspiracy added whole other dimensions to the city of Markarth – setting the place apart from Skyrim’s other generic hold capitals as we pieced together the Forsworn puzzle.

From watching someone brutally shanked while shopping for groceries to being threatened into silence by servants of Markarth's ruling class, the Forsworn Conspiracy was downright pants-tighteningly tense – and fun!

The Forsworn Conspiracy got more and more tense, as the upper echelons of Markarth’s power was revealed to have played a part in the conspiracy.

Why was there a murder in the marketplace? The only answer was to chase the Forsworn Mystery one step further.
