Top 10 Best Rainbow 6 Siege Elite Skins

best Rainbow Six Siege Elite Skins
Behold the pioneers.

Did your favorite operator make the cut?

In Rainbow 6 Siege, the most impactful form of operator customization is the elite skin. Ever since the first trio of elite skins released for Rainbow 6 Siege back in 2016, players have been showing their love for their favorite operators by rocking their elite skins. To date, 24 of the 50 operators have elite skins available to them, and they cost 1800 R6 Credits apiece.

Let’s take a look at what I think are the ten best:

10. Maquis

Twitch's elite.

The only skin to show Twitch’s whole face, Maquis ditched Twitch’s mask for a garrison cap. A face reveal was risky, considering the adoration for Twitch. While not extremely well-received at first, Twitch’s face has been updated since, and the elite is in a much better place for it.

What is awesome about this elite:

  • It’s undeniably French
  • Twitch’s face is now one of the best in the game.
  • Her MVP animation showcases her shock drone and makes it strangely adorable.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Maquis headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Twitch Chibi
  • Combattant skin for Twitch’s shock drone.
  • La Résistance skin for every gun in Twitch’s loadout.

9. Vintage Bureau

Thermite's elite.

With Vintage Bureau, Thermite gets blasted into the past. Complete with badge, riot helmet and an ensemble of leather pouches, Vintage Bureau gives Thermite a certain air of impunity. His welding goggles remain and fit right in with his guise, as well.

What is awesome about this elite:

  • Thermite in knee-high boots is a beautiful sight.
  • Gives Thermite’s exothermic charges a more retro look.
  • His MVP animation has him summon fire from his hands. Enough said.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Vintage Bureau headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Thermite Chibi.
  • Texan Dynamite skin for his exothermic charges.
  • Retrofit skin for every gun in Thermite’s loadout.

8. Onkochishin

Hibana's elite.

The Onkochishin skin released earlier this year, giving Hibana fans a tasteful upgrade over her default outfit. The elite draws inspiration from Kyudo- the Japanese martial art of archery and is certainly the most traditional elite available. Hence the Yumi longbow featured in her MVP animation.

What is awesome about this elite:

  • Gives Hibana an ancestral flair.
  • Pays homage to a Japanese tradition in a really cool way.
  • Her MVP animation is enough to make Katniss Everdeen blush.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Onkochishin headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Hibana Chibi
  • Onkochishin for her X-Kairos
  • Onkochishin skin for every gun in Hibana’s loadout.

7. Guerrilla

Blackbeard's elite.

Blackbeard channels the Vietnam greats of Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, and Platoon for his Guerrilla elite. Considering the countless defenders currently suffering from PTSD thanks to Blackbeard and his rifle shield, the Vietnam theme seems appropriate. Cue “Fortunate Son.”

What is awesome about this elite:

  • Gives Blackbeard a more grizzled and battle-hardened appearance.
  • The Lucky Spade skin for his D-50 is easily the best looking pistol skin available.
  • His authoritative MVP animation is sure not to disappoint.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Guerrilla headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Blackbeard Chibi.
  • Delta skin for his rifle shield.
  • Lucky Spade skin for every gun in Blackbeard’s loadout.

6. Sanguine Arsenic

Smoke's elite.

Sanguine Arsenic gives Smoke the look of a college student, which is not a bad thing at all. He sorely needed some youthful vigor to counteract his aged voice. Plus, his not so serious outfit makes gassing attackers to death not seem half as bad.

What is awesome about this elite:

  • Highlights Smoke’s free-spirited personality.
  • Showcases a truly great gasmask pompadour combo.
  • His MVP animation features some slick manipulation of a smoke canister.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Sanguine Arsenic headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Smoke Chibi.
  • Compound Z8 skin for his canisters.
  • Sanguine Arsenic skin for all guns in Smoke’s loadout.

5. Nano-Tox 32

Lesion's elite.

Nano-Tox 32 has Lesion donning an advanced combat suit in lieu of his dad shorts. Injected with an array of upgrades, Lesion is now a toxic slinging super-soldier. Still, he’s not too proud to let a toothpick dangle from his mouth.

What is awesome about this elite:

  • Separates itself from some of the other more traditional elites.
  • Gives Lesion an outfit to align better with his futuristic gadget.
  • Despite the bare MVP animation, Nano-Tox 32 is a head-turner in-game.

This elite includes:

  • Elite Operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Nano-Tox 32 headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Lesion chibi.
  • Nan-Tox 32 skin for his Gu mines.
  • Nano-Tox 32 skin for all guns in Legion’s loadout.

4. 2nd Shock Army

Fuze's elite.

With 2nd Shock Army, Fuze dons an outfit that would make any comrade jealous. Blow up the hostage and kill your teammates in style. Mother Russia would be proud.

What is awesome about this elite:

  • No other elite screams glorious victory like 2nd Shock Army.
  • His cluster charges have been given a soviet makeover.
  • His MVP animation is propaganda of the best kind.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • 2nd Shock Army headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Fuze Chibi.
  • Urra skin for his cluster charges.
  • Motherland skin for his shield.
  • Arzamas-17 skin for every gun in Fuze’s loadout.

3. Reunification

IQ's elite.

IQ has reached legendary status in Rainbow Six, and Reunification got her there. Like Twitch, a face reveal was risky because of players’ immense love of IQ, but Reunification was fan service genius. Who wouldn’t want to see a kickboxing IQ straight out of the 80s?

What is awesome about this elite:

  • It’s THE best throwback elite. Period.
  • Changes the look of her gadget to mimic a cassette player. Very 80s indeed.
  • Her energetic MVP animation features a kickboxing display that proves to the other team they were not worthy.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Reunification headgear and uniform.
  • Elite IQ Chibi.
  • Cassette Threat for her electronics scanner.
  • New Wave Onslaught skin for every gun in IQ’s inventory.

2. Huntress

Frost's elite.

Huntress, taking Frost past the threshold of tough, couldn’t have been more aptly titled. Decked out with winter gear, Frost looks like she can handle anything the wild throws at her. Plus, she has dreadlocks, which feels so right.

What is awesome about this elite:

  • Forgoes any flashiness in favor of a clean yet truly menacing elite.
  • Makes her frost mats into gruesome-looking traps.
  • Her bonfire MVP cements her as a total badass.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Huntress headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Frost Chibi
  • Huntress skin for her frost mat.
  • Huntress skin for every gun in Frost’s inventory.

1. Axle 13

Bandit's elite.

Bandit’s Axle 13 explores his days undercover as a dope-dealing biker. Bandit’s backstory sets him apart from the other operators in that he's been to jail and has had to kill to stay in cover. But it's the execution of displaying Bandit's troubled history through Axle 13 that makes it the best elite in the game.

What is awesome about this elite:

  • Bandit takes the cake for best tattoos in Siege.
  • And best beard. Sorry, Blackbeard.
  • His MVP animation steals the show thanks to his loud motorcycle and hater blocker shades.

This elite includes:

  • Elite operator card.
  • Unique MVP animation.
  • Axle 13 headgear and uniform.
  • Elite Bandit Chibi.
  • Axle 13 skin for his shock wire.
  • Axle 13 skin for every gun in Bandit’s loadout.
