Hello all you fans of the Pokemon Trading Card Game and casual readers. Today we’ll be looking at three of the best Pokemon decks that feature my favorite Pokemon: Mewtwo. Without further ado, let’s get into the list. 

3. Mega Mewtwo

Wobbuffet from Phantom Forces, Garbodor from BREAKpoint, and M Mewtwo EX from BREAKthrough. 

• Mega Mewtwo EX has 210 HP and is my personal favorite Pokemon card. It features the Psychic Infinity attack which deals 10 damage plus 30 more for each energy attached to both Active Pokemon. 
• This deck was prominent in 2017 when most Pokemon had around 210 HP and the strongest attacks cost three energy. This meant that you could KO almost any Pokemon by attaching two Double Colorless Energy to Mega Mewtwo EX.
• This deck also plays cards to get rid of opponent’s abilities like Garbodor and Wobbuffet. 
• Mega Turbo is an item card that can accelerate energy to Mega Mewtwo and Double Colorless energy provides two colorless energy.

2. Welder Mewtwo & Mew GX

Welder from Unbroken Bonds and Mewtwo & Mew GX from Unified Minds.

• In my opinion, Mewtwo & Mew GX is one of the best Pokemon cards that has been released, if not the best. Sure, its mechanic has become outdated, but the ability to draw from the attacks of countless other cards as a high HP Basic Pokemon is unparalleled. 
• Mewtwo & Mew GX is a Basic Pokemon with 270 HP. This card features the Perfection ability, which allows you to use the attacks of any EX or GX card on your Bench or in your Discard Pile as long as you have the appropriate energy attached. 
• This version of the deck uses primarily Fire Pokemon and powers up Mewtwo with Welder. Welder is a great Supporter card that attaches up to two fire energy from your hand to one of your Pokemon and then draws three cards. 
• All of the Fire Pokemon in this deck, such as Reshiram & Charizard GX, Heatran GX, Charizard & Braixen GX, and Charizard GX, have incredibly powerful attacks that all become part of Mewtwo & Mew’s arsenal.

Trevenant & Dusknoir GX, Gengar & Mimikyu GX from Team Up, and Giratina & Garchomp GX from Unified Minds. 

• The slightly newer version of the Mewtwo and Mew deck no longer uses fire Pokemon, focusing instead on psychic type attacks. Cards like Trevenant & Dusknoir GX, Gengar & Mimikyu GX, Incineroar GX, and Garchomp & Giratina GX fuel this version's attacks. 
• Trainer cards like Tag Call and Cherish Ball allow you to search for the bulk of this deck’s cards while Horror energy can add some really helpful additional damage.
