[Top 5] Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord Best Family to Marry

Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord Best Family
Her family will kill for you.

You want to start a dynasty that will rule the world for centuries.  First you're going to have to get married.

Getting married has a lot of benefits in Mount and Blade Warband:

1. You get an excellent quality companion to fight in your army or manage a castle.
2. You gain a lot of reputation with her family and gain power in their kingdom.
3. You can have children; heirs, if you die in battle or of old age.

With that in mind, you want to choose a spouse who has great companion stats and a powerful family to back up your dreams of world domination. It's icing on the cake if they are attractive.

Warband attempts historical accuracy, so marriage is always for convenience. Families and spouses are looking for someone to back up their ambitions. They want you to be strong, intelligent, and charismatic.

What are the requirements to get married?

First, you need to have some levels under your belt. Work on your charm and reputation. They make convincing your spouse to marry you much more straightforward. You really should have clan level 2 by the time you get married because this is an entry into kingdom politics. You're going to want to be fighting and acquiring castles and cities.

When you feel ready, find your spouse and then save the game. You're welcome to take your chances, but if you mess up, you won't get another chance at the spouse of your dreams. Then talk to your chosen one. If you mess up, you have that save game. But, if you succeed, you will need to speak with the spouse's father and pay a dowry. Cows and horses work, but cold hard cash seals the deal just fine.

You can only marry a person of the opposite sex. There are mods for the oversight on Nexus Mods, though.

So, I'm ready. Who do I choose?

Bring on the Warrior Maidens!
