What should you do when you start playing KOF All Stars? The answer is everything in the game. Here’s a beginner guide and tips that will help you play this game.

Let’s start with AP. AP lets you play battles for a certain amount of battles for Story Mode, Advent, Epic Quests, and Dungeons. You can increase your AP by playing battles which increases its experience. When you finish that experience, your AP increases along with getting free rubies.

Rubies are used to summon fighters and battle cards. It can also be used to restore your AP and increase your storage limit on cards and imprint stones. Sometimes, they can be used to purchase other items in the shop. But, it’s best to use them for special summons like collaborations or SS, BS, and EX fighters. Should you need to increase your storage on cards and imprints would also be useful for rubies.

1. Log On Every Single Day

It is very important to log on to KOF All Stars every single day. You get rewards every single day for logging into the game. Sometimes there are event bonuses too. These rewards are random, but are worth farming it.

2. Do Your Daily Mission

You can get an easy free 100 rubies every single day by completing daily missions. These missions can include clearing story mode 3 times, soul quests, or doing a summon. It is worth doing them, as you can farm rubies this way.

3. Free Summons

You get 1 free summons each for a fighter and battle card every single day. You can also get a free summon fighter ticket by watching an ad for a few seconds. The Select Pick Up System for both the fighters and battle cards give you the option of choosing the listed fighters for a higher chance of being summoned. Doing free summons also adds up to the rewards, by how many times you summon for both areas.

FYI, save your rubies for collaborations, SS, BS, and EX banners. They’re worth it and sometimes you may get lucky and sometimes you don’t. So save those rubies for a chance to get those special characters and battle cards.

4. Go To The Shop

Go to Shop, and collect 30 rubies and an item ticket by watching a video for 30 seconds. Go to Secret Shop below, and watch another video for an Ad Box Reward, which gives you free Auto Clear tickets, gold, and AP points.

5. Play Story Mode

Play Story Mode to get rubies and other rewards. Make sure you complete it 100% for the missions in Story Mode. This is a great way to farm rubies for only a one time completion. Another incentive for playing Story Mode is that you can unlock the Power Up Dungeon, which will be very crucial.

6.  Play Power Up Dungeon

You can watch a video for the Gold, Core, and EXP Dungeons and get free rewards daily. Make sure you have the higher levels unlocked by completing the battles.

Stick with EXP bottles, since you don’t need gold to level up your characters. Once your characters are strong, go after the core dungeon. The Core Dungeon is what you will need to increase your character’s abilities, as well as other stats. 

You can get Gold from mostly every battle or other rewards. But, play the Gold Dungeon if you need Gold. You will need Gold to evolve for fighters and cards, and to increase their skills too.

7. Play The Elemental Advent Dungeon

Also, play the Elemental Advent Dungeon. You can play this 5 times of any selected color element. It is a good way to “limit break” the levels of your characters to 80.

8. Play The Fighter Evolution Dungeon

The Fighter Evolution Dungeon rewards materials to help evolve your characters to increase their level limit. The Expert Level of the Fighter Evolution Dungeon can only be played 3 times a day for any color element. The evolution materials rewards from these battles help your characters evolve to a 3 star to a 4 star or 5 star to a 6 star fighter. This helps increase the level limits of your characters to 90.

9. Play The Street Operation Dungeon

The Street Operation Dungeon is where you can get materials to level up your battle cards and their abilities. These include Set, Option, and Finisher cards. All these cards are color coded for yellow for Set, green for Option, and purple for Finisher. Play the Battle Card Evolution Dungeon to get materials to evolve your cards to their maximum potential. 

10. Play The Advent Dungeon

Playing the Advent Dungeon is important because you can get daily rewards. Complete Story Mode to unlock the other areas of the Advent Dungeon. Sometimes, there are special events that give out special rewards or materials to farm. These Advent Dungeons can be played daily 3 times a day for all listed modes, including events sometimes.

11. Play The Epic Advent Dungeon

Play the Epic Advent Dungeon to farm Blue, Red, and Green Epic Crystals. These Epic Crystals are used to create Set battle cards, which are useful for beginners. The bosses on these dungeons alternate weekly from Goenitz, Chizuru, and Saiysu, which means different Set card materials to farm. 

12. Play The Hall of Elements

The Hall of Elements is another dungeon to farm fighter memories. They are 5 different colors of the elements that rotate weekly. Play this daily to get the Element Memory Mystery Box. These boxes contain fighter memories of that color coded element. You may get a Fes memory of a certain color element by chance. 

Fighter Memories help awaken your fighters even further, increasing their strengths. This is a great way to power up your current characters until you get stronger ones. 3 star fighters can be awakened 3 times, along with 4 star fighters that can be awakened 4 times. 5 star fighter can be awakened 5 times. EX fighters can be awakened 7 times.
You will also be awarded with Memory Coins based on the difficulty of the stages of the Hall of Elements. These can be used to purchase certain Fighter Memories that are randomly listed weekly.

13. Play The Descent Mode

Play the Descent Mode to farm materials to craft 5 star Gold characters, since they are useful to use. They are good substitutes to use until you get Fes, SS, BS, and EX fighters. 

14. Play Soul Quest

This mode offers fighter souls to help you break the limit of your character’s level to further their growths. You can do this 3 times a day, along with watching an ad for another round to play it. You can also get soul tokens from login rewards or other battles. These soul tokens can be used to farm fighter souls for any character in a battle.

15. Play The Challenge Dungeon

As the name states it, the Challenge dungeon offers Team Relay, Time Attack, Dungeon of Trials, Tower of Trials, Chapter of Fight, and Reviving Hell Dungeons. You want to play this mode once you have better fighters with maxed stats and levels. You will obtain more rewards with stronger characters.

16. Play The Team Relay Dungeon And Challenge

One of which can be played daily once a day, and the other one that has 3 different categories that can be played 3 times a week for any one of them. You can get the maximum of 50 rubies for playing the Team Relay Dungeon 3 times for each category, totaling 450 rubies. Team Relay Challenge can be completed once a day.

17. Play Time Attack

The Challenge dungeon offers Time Attack, which can be played multiple times as you like, and it changes daily along with the rewards. You can get rubies easily from Time Attack if you reach the time goal.

18. Play Dungeon of Trials

The Dungeon of Trials is where you battle a certain boss to obtain mystery imprint stones boxes and soul dusts. Reach a certain goal by dealing the most damage at a time limit, you will be rewarded with rubies, better mystery imprint stone boxes and larger amounts of soul dusts. Keep in mind rubies obtained from the dungeon can only be acquired once. 

19. Play Tower of Trials

The Tower of Trials is a mode that can be only played 3 times a day. Make sure you have stronger characters to reach to the top. You can also get free AP by clearing auto clear and watching an ad based on what level you're at on the tower.

20. Play Chapter of Fight

Chapter of Fight is another mode for expert players. This mode offers materials for Imprint Stones, along with Moon and Star Stones. You can play the challenge entries and fight entries both 5 times daily.

21. Play Reviving Hell Dungeon

This mode is for expert players. Once you have awakened your fighters to awakened tier 1, 2, or 3, you can start playing this dungeon. It gets harder as you progress, so it is advised to prepare yourself with stronger Fes, SS, BS, and EX fighters. Also, having your fighters awakened at a 4 and 5 tier will make things easier for you. 

You can tap on auto clear to get Awaken Tier Capsules based on your progress, which you can use to farm them to level up your characters. This is a great way to level up your characters if you're stuck on farming higher leveled tier capsules. This can be done once daily. Use this as an advantage to level up your awakened fighters to continue on this dungeon.

22. Play Epic Quest

Epic Quest is another side story mode but with a higher difficulty. For this mode, you want stronger fighters. If you don’t have any strong fighters, try to complete the episode daily missions. The mission rewards can help increase your stat boosts for that particular Epic Episode. Try to do this if you are able to. Clear certain stages daily, at least twice a day required for the reward.

The rewards can be obtained once a day for the daily missions. The stat boosts will help you for a particular episode, as each stage gets difficult. Episodes 1 and 2 are very hard, if you don’t have a higher stat boost. Episode 0 alone is hard if you don’t have strong characters to use. Let alone the stat boost, which is why you want to do this daily.
Clearing certain stages and missions also reward you with special Epic Quest variant versions of some characters. These characters are good to use for some battles, should you need them.

23. Dispatching Fighters

You can dispatch your fighters to obtain rewards based on their levels. Some dispatches may require you to wait 4,8, or 12 hours for your characters to finish their work. You can speed up the process by using dispatch coins. 

These coins can accelerate the dispatches quickly based on what some can do. For example, some coins can speed up the dispatch for 10 minutes.

Keep an eye on the dispatches every single day, because some of them change daily. They can offer better rewards like EX Shards to awaken certain characters.

24. Play Arena Mode

This mode is great for farming rubies. Try to have a higher ranking to be rewarded with the most rubies weekly. You can do this 3 times a day. Use strong characters to achieve a higher ranking.

At the end of the week, your rank will measure the amount of rewards you will get. You will get the rubies on Monday based on your rank. The most you will get is 900 rubies, which is what the cost is for 10 summons for fighters. This is a must do.

25. Play League Match

This mode acts as a tag team battle, but it is similar to Arena Mode. The more battles you win based on the difficulty, the higher your ranking will be. As of now, you don’t get as many as rubies you can farm from Arena Mode. 

But, this mode helps you farm rubies in the smallest way ever. It still helps to do League Match, since you are getting rubies.
