This fan-favorite anime is a treat in terms of powerful characters. 

From extraordinary sorcerers like Gojo and Sukuna to individuals with inhuman strength like 

Yuji and Maki - JJK didn't disappoint. Therefore, this anime has a wide variety of jaw-dropping characters that will blow your minds with their skills. 

Let's take a thorough look at these powerful characters and what makes them almost unbeatable. 

10. Maki Zenin 

Maki belongs to one of the three prominent sorcerer families but was disowned because she wasn't a sorcerer. 

In her goal to become a powerful sorceress in the Jujutsu realm, she departed from the Zenin clan and embarked on her journey. Maki may have trouble seeing cursed spirits without her spectacles and regulating cursed energy. Still, she makes up for these shortcomings with her formidable fighting prowess and command of cursed weapons.

However, despite her splendid skills, Maki is locked in Grade 4 because the Zenin clan, who rule the Sorcerer society, doesn't want Maki to advance in rank. 

She went up against Hanami at the Kyoto Goodwill Event, and she was able to hold him off to some extent, considering that she is a non-sorcerer and Hanami is a special grade curse.

In addition, Maki has demonstrated her prowess as a teacher by instructing Yuta and Megumi. And both of these sorcerers are a fruit of Maki's competence and devotion to the art of sorcerer.

9. Aoi Todo

We all agree that Aoi Todo's first impression could have been better. Most of the fans didn't like the huge bully at all. However, as the story progressed, Todo became close to Yuji, and their friendship grew famous among viewers. 

Todo fuses martial arts with cursed energy, thus generating a deadly combo that proves to be quite helpful in defeating Hanami. He is an expert in hand-to-hand fighting thanks to his incredible athletic strength and can move quite quickly despite his bulky form. 

In the battle against Hanami at the Goodwill event, Todo uses the Boogie Woogie technique to reposition anything that gives out cursed energy with the clap of his palms. Apart from this, he also helped Yuji perfect the timing and strength of his Black Flash technique which shows that he is a good man. 

Todo becomes Itadori's greatest friend and mentor, and Itadori learns from Todo how to control his cursed energy. 

Therefore, Todo's incredible techniques, fantastic humor, and golden heart truly make him one of the most powerful characters of Jujutsu Kaisen.

8. Yuji Itadori

Here comes our boy - Yuji Itadori!

If a person can ingest Sukuna's fingers and act as a vessel for him without losing himself, what does it make them? Inhumane or just someone mighty? Well, I'd go with the latter.

Even before becoming Sukuna's habitat, Yuji was already known for his outstanding physical strength. Because of his bravery and innate abilities, Yuji defeated a powerful Curse in the pilot episode without using any of his Cursed Energy. 

However, once he got sucked into the world of Jujutsu and curses, Yuji knew that he needed an upgrade. In season one, we come across two techniques - the Divergent Fist Technique, which is formidable, but Black Flash is his ultimate weapon. 

Itadori is still getting the hang of this magical world that he is now an essential part of. Because he is eager to learn and is a fast learner, we can see him advancing in his skills quite quickly. 

Hopefully, Yuji will grow stronger and help Gojo and the company in putting an end to Sukuna.

7. Nanami Kento

When Kento Nanami first appeared, most fans only took him as the "devilishly handsome guy" from Jujutsu Kaisen. Little did they know that even though Nanami may not appear to be the most potent jujutsu sorcerer, his knowledge of using cursed energy is unparalleled. 

Nanami is not just a skilled swordsman but also uses Binding Vows to fine-tune his Technique, presumably so as to not waste energy on unnecessary movements. 

Firstly, his Ratio technique lets him easily cut through rivals with his blade. Using this strategy, he may break down his opponent's physique into ten sections and exploit a vulnerable spot at the 7:3 ratio.

Moreover, after finishing his duty at Jujutsu High, Nanami can improve his energy production by invoking Overtime. Nanami's jujutsu magic is grounded in rationality and prioritizes efficiency above brute force.

6. Hanami

I wasn't really considering Hanami until she flipped out during the Goodwill event. That's when I knew that the weird plant-looking individual was actually a very strong curse. 

So much so that even Satoru asserts that Hanami is the more dangerous Curse, despite the fact that she does not have as much cursed energy as Jogo or Mahito. 

Hanami is incredibly resilient and can easily avoid the majority of blows dealt to her by various weapons and tactics. As Hanami can draw vitality from her surroundings, she is resilient to injuries that would otherwise cripple most sorcerers or Curses.

Hanami's ability to disguise herself has allowed her to catch Satoru off guard more than once. Moreover, Hanami's Disaster Plants Technique is incredibly adaptable, allowing her to modify her surroundings, divert and weaken her opponents, and increase her speed.

I can attest to her abilities by the fact that she gave Todo and Yuji a tough time during their face-off. This fact is enough for her to make their way into this list of the most powerful JJK characters.

5. Mahito

Do you remember Theon Grejoy from Game of Thrones? Yeah, Mojito is the anime version of that despicable character because EVERYONE hated him—literally, everyone. 

In Jujutsu Kaisen, Mahito is the primary adversary after Geto, Jogo, and Sukuna. Concerning his cursed talents, he is still a young boy and very much in training throughout the anime. 

And you know the scary part? Mahito is considered the most intelligent of the evil spirits. This is depicted in the first season when he manipulates and exploits Junpei. 

During his fight with Yuji, Mahito demonstrates remarkable reflexes. Mahito's "Idle Transformation" method is a curse that gives him the power to change or modify the souls of anyone he touches, making it a potentially fatal ability. 

In addition to his combat prowess, he also has the ability to heal himself during battle and disfigure his adversaries.

Mojito escapes the Nanami-Itadori duo and survives Sukuna's deadly attack; if that doesn't make him one of the strongest characters of JJK, then I don't know what will.

4. Megumi Fushigoro

Megumi, aka wonder boy/Sukuna's favorite, is a fascinating character in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. He prefers to be quiet and assumes a mysterious and brooding demeanor, but that doesn't stop him from being a softie. 

He values everyone's life, and saving a human is his first instinct. Fans can attest to this because he saved Yuji when all odds were against him and protected Nobara in the Curse Womb Must Die episode. 

Therefore we don't really see him being offensive. But when Fushigoro decides to attack - he doesn't spare anyone. Being a Grade 2 sorcerer and belonging to the Zenin clan, it is understood that Megumi will be powerful. 

He is particularly famous for his Ten Shadow Technique, which enables him to call upon several shikigami to fight on his behalf.

Moreover, his ability to call forth Divine Hounds is helpful for both pursuing Cursed Spirits and defending one's companions. Conversely, Nue is a form of shikigami that may be used for aerial attacks. 

He isn't a regular sorcerer if someone has caught Sukuna's attention. Fans are still waiting to see Megumi Fushigoro assume the ultimate level of his powers. I'm sure they won't be disappointed.

3. Toge Inumaki 

Inumaki doesn't have to do any special maneuvers in order to manifest his Cursed energy; he just has to speak. The "Snake & Fang" seal was inscribed on his tongue and face at birth since he was born with the cursed ability to speak.

In an effort to curb his cursing toward others around him, he substituted components for rice balls in his speech. 

Because of the seal's position, his cursed energy may be infused into his words, and the target will blindly obey his every command. As Toge told Hanami to "blow away," Hanami was flung aside. Among Jujutsu practitioners, Toge is presently a "semi-grade one sorcerer."

Using the cursed speech effectively takes a great deal of cursed strength and stamina. Based on what we see in the anime, Toge has enough cursed strength and energy to take on a powerful cursed spirit. 

Toge's opponents need help countering his unique inherited tactics because they are unpredictable. Because exactly how can one stand against someone's tongue? It's quite a deadly weapon, and women can attest to that. 

Toge remains a fan favorite and is well regarded as one of the best sorcerers working for adults.

2. Yuta Okkotsu 

After being tormented by the "Queen of Curses," Rika, the original protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series, Yuta, enrolled in Jujutsu High. 

Gojo may be the most powerful sorcerer at the moment. Still, Yuta has more cursed energy than he does and is expected to overtake him eventually.

Instead of using his cursed energy to perform Jujutsu like other sorcerers, Yuta channels it into a blade. 

He can replicate the tactics of others, as he demonstrated when he imitated Inumaki's Cursed Speech in a battle against Geto. He is unique and deadly because of his healing ability.

1. Gojo Saturo/Ryomen Sukuna 

Well, it's a tie for me! 

As far as season 1 goes, it's shown that Ryomen Sukuna still needs to assume his real form. \

Despite this, we can see how dangerous, powerful, and outstanding he is. Be it one on one with the special grade curse in the juvenile detention center or killing Mahito with one strike - Ryomen is truly the King of Curses. 

However, let's not forget our very own Golden boy, Gojo Saturo. He is practically invincible in battle thanks to his superhuman strength and speed. Domain Expansion, one of his abilities, makes it virtually difficult for anybody to escape by creating a vacuum-like void that disintegrates anything in its path. 

Because of his skill with Jujutsu and his ability to control cursed energy, he is also a formidable jujutsu sorcerer. He wears a blindfold to harness the might of his eyes, which can perceive cursed energy.

So, for me, both Gojo and Ryomen are suitable for the first position. What do you guys think?
