Jujutsu Kaisen Best Fight Scenes Worth Watching Again

In the last few years, anime fans all over the world have been trying to decide which new generation of anime will be considered the next big 3, and Jujutsu Kaisen has been at the top of that list for quite a while. As battles go, Jujutsu Kaisen has repeatedly produced some of the best fight scenes that are worth watching again, and in today's article, we'll look into the top 10 best fight scenes. So grab your popcorn, sit back, and let us do all the heavy lifting for you.

10. Satoru Gojo vs. Ryomen Sukuna

Satoru Gojo fights Ryomen Sukuna. Start at 1:30.

If you thought Jujutsu Kaisen was like most typical anime that take a whole season before they reveal the strongest characters fighting, then you're in for a rude shock. Right after meeting protagonist Itadori Yuuji, he eats one of the strongest curse's fingers, Ryomen Sukuna, effectively reviving him by being his human vessel.

When Satoru Gojo, the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer, appears, he decides to test the power of Sukuna by giving him only 10 seconds to fight him. However, what we get is a one-sided fight where Gojo basically toys with the strongest curse who can't seem to land even a single hit, and we soon learn why Gojo is the undisputed champion of the Jujutsu sorcerers.

9. Kasumi Miwa and Mai Zenin vs. Maki Zenin

Kasumi Miwa and Mai Zenin fight Maki Zenin.

During the 30th Annual Kyoto Sister-Goodwill Event, Jujutsu sorcerers from Tokyo Jujutsu High are pitted against their rivals from Kyoto Jujutsu High, and what we get is one of the most emotional fights between Maki Zenin of Tokyo Jujutsu High and Kasumi Miwa and Mai Zenin of Kyoto High School.

Kasumi Miwa engages first but quickly realizes the difference in strength between her and her opponent, and in no time she is disarmed and left defenseless as Maki pursues her sister, Mai Zenin.

When Maki catches up to Mai, she easily evades her bullets, all while closing the gap between them. Mai finally uses her ultimate cursed technique: Construction, which allows her to create one more bullet at the cost of all her cursed energy. However, Maki catches the bullet with her bare hands, proving that she is far superior to her sister, and wins the duel.

8. Panda vs. Mechamaru

Panda fights Mechamaru. Start at 1:15.

In the same event, Panda, an Abrupt Mutated Cursed Corpse created by Masamichi Yaga and a second-year student of Tokyo Jujutsu High, goes against Ultimate Mechamaru, a cursed corpse of Kyoto High School, who is being controlled by the second-year student Kokichi Muta as his proxy.

Catching Panda off-guard, Mechamaru takes the offensive and shoots one of Panda's cores with cursed energy, but Panda is unharmed by the shot. However, Mechamaru uses the Ultimate Cannon at point-blank range, and with no option but to defend Nobara, Panda takes the full force of the attack.

This in turn results in Panda activating his Gorilla Mode, which gives him a huge boost in power and cursed energy. Despite Mechamaru using a feint to get behind Panda and attack him at his most vulnerable area, where he thinks his core is, Panda cleverly disguises his core location, effectively duping Mechamaru and gaining the upper hand on him, which results in his defeat.

7. Special Grade Finger Bearer vs. Yuji Itadori/Ryomen Sukuna

Yuji Itadori and Ryomen Sukuna fight Special Grade Finger Bearer. Start at 0:25.

There couldn't have been a better first fight against a cursed spirit than this. When Itadori, Megumi, and Nobara are tasked with rescuing the survivors of a detention center that has been attacked by a cursed spirit, they soon realize they have more on their plate than they can handle. By the time they realize they need to escape, a special-grade cursed spirit appears before them.

Itadori tasks Megumi to rescue Nobara while he buys time for them to escape. However, he soon realizes how weak he is when he is faced with the power of the special grade, and all he can do is take hits and try to keep the special grade occupied.

Megumi, fortunately, rescues Nobara and sends a signal to Itadori, at which point Itadori switches control of his body to Sukuna. What occurs thereafter is a serious beatdown where Sukuna toys with the special grade, severing his limbs and eventually using his Domain Expansion to annihilate him.

6. Kento Nanami vs. Mahito

Kento Nanami fights Mahito.

Following the investigation into the disfigured bodies in the theater, Nanami pursues the killer into his lair in the sewers and encounters the special-grade cursed spirit Mahito. A highly calculated battle ensues between the two, and Nanami uses his innate technique, Ratio Technique, which gives him the ability to divide his target with lines and forcibly create a weak spot.

Mahito heals himself using his cursed technique, Idle Transfiguration, and modifies his legs to grant him the speed needed to land a hit on Nanami and injure him. Luckily, the fight drags on until 6 pm, at which time Nanami uses his Binding Vow: Overtime, which gives him a massive boost in cursed energy, and this enables him to deal a striking blow on Mahito, incapacitating him as he is crushed by the falling debris around him.

5. Yuuji Itadori and Kento Nanami vs. Mahito

Yuuji Itadori and Kento Nanami fight Mahito.

Having been unsuccessful in defeating Mahito during their first battle, Kento Nanami finds himself facing him again, but this time with the backup of Yuuji Itadori. After Mahito kills Yoshino Junpei, Itadori is enraged and goes on a rampage to destroy his opponent using his Divergent Fist, but Mahito counters him using his cursed technique to transform his arms into various deadly weapons.

However, as Nanami joins the fight and the duo unleashes a perfect combo of attacks on Mahito, he realizes he is on the verge of death and unleashes his Domain Expansion: Self-Embodiment of Perfection. He traps Nanami inside and locks out Itadori, but Itadori barges in by force, and this results in Mahito unwittingly touching Itadori's soul and, by extension, Sukuna.

Angered by this, Sukuna deals two devastating blows to Mahito and severely damages him, resulting in the Domain Expansion collapsing. With most of his cursed energy depleted, Mahito uses a decoy to trick the duo, who are about to strike the killing blow, and uses this chance to escape into the sewers.

4. Megumi Fushiguro vs. Special Grade Finger Bearer

Megumi Fushiguro fights Special Grade Finger Bearer.

Megumi is confronted with a special-grade cursed spirit, but this time he has greatly improved as a Jujutsu sorcerer, in what is arguably one of the anime's most surprising and exciting fight scenes. Unlike the first time when he had no option but to run away, this time he chooses to fight back, although the special grade quickly forces him to go completely on the defensive.

When it all seems bleak and Megumi looks like he will once again lose the battle, he remembers his conversation with Satoru Gojo, and willing himself to go all out, he activates his Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden. Although incomplete, it serves its purpose, and he uses it to turn the tables on the special grade, defeating and exorcising the cursed spirit.

3. Satoru Gojo vs. Jogo

Satoru Gojo fights Jogo.

As if we didn't already know how powerful the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer is, we get this fight that clears up any doubts about the power disparity between Satoru Gojo and all the curses. If I had to pick a fight to use to convince someone why they should watch Jujutsu Kaisen, this is the fight I would choose.

Jogo, an unregistered special-grade cursed spirit, decides to test for himself how powerful Gojo is by ambushing him. He unleashes multiple large-scale blasts, which don't seem to put a single scratch on Gojo, much to the chagrin of Jogo. Deciding to humor him, Gojo reveals his secret technique of Infinity and further humiliates Jogo by bringing Yuuji Itadori to the fight, explaining that he is there only to watch.

Realizing how outmatched he is, Jogo unleashes his Domain Expansion, but Gojo counters it by unleashing his own Domain Expansion which is far superior. Suspended in a state of immobility, Gojo decapitates Jogo and starts interrogating him, but Hanami distracts Gojo and rescues Jogo, and he disappears with him.

2. Yuuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki vs. Eso and Kechizu

Yuuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki fight Eso and Kechizu.

In the final fight in the first season, we are treated to how powerful Itadori and Nobara have become after they are faced with two special-grade cursed spirit brothers, Eso and Kechizu. The fight begins with Itadori and Nobara at a disadvantage, as Nobara finds herself facing the brothers alone.

Itadori soon joins the fight just in time, and although the brothers manage to use their cursed technique, Rot Technique Decay, they find themselves on the receiving end of their own power since Itadori is resistant to poisons due to his connection with Sukuna, and Nobara, who steals the show, uses her Straw Doll Technique and Resonance Technique to destroy the brothers with their own power.

1. Yuuji Itadori and Aoi Todo vs. Hanami

Yuuji Itadori and Aoi Todo fight Hanami. Start at 2:48.

At last, we have come to the undisputable best fight of the series. When special-grade cursed spirits allied with Mahito ambush the students during the Sister-Goodwill Event, all the students find themselves on the defensive against far superior opponents. The greatest threat proved to be Hanami, a special grade who seemed invincible.

However, he encounters Aoi Todo and Yuuji Itadori and quickly realizes that he has his work cut out for him after the duo unleashes a barrage of hits that put Hanami on the defensive. Having gotten the hang of his power, Itadori manages to land several Black Flash blows on Hanami, wounding him in the process.

Todo subsequently uses his Boogie Woogie technique to switch places with Itadori and Hanami and, in a seamless combo, they quickly overwhelm Hanami. Although Hanami reveals a trump card up his sleeve and the fight is cut short by Gojo's attack, Todo and Itadori's dominance in the fight proved how formidable the duo is.
