[Top 5] Dokkan Battle Best Teams

Dokkan Battle Best Teams
You better believe they're in here

What's the best team you can put together in the game?

Whether you’re a newbie or a veteran, odds are you’re looking to make the strongest team you possibly can to move you forward in the game. The idea is to make the best of what you got or have an ideal team to work towards. With this in mind, here are the top 5 teams you can currently make in the Global version.

5. Team Bardock (F2P)

As a seasoned player you might first wonder “what the fudge is this team doing here?!” Hear me out and I think you will agree they deserve a spot on this list--there’s a lot more to teams than having the latest units or a bunch of LRs

  • Highly attainable: the team is absolutely Free-to-Play as the units are all rewards from in-game events. Plus, the event is feasible to beat for new players because it’s only 1 opponent with a single phase in Z-hard difficulty. It may take some items and planning for newbies, but the event is far from impossible.
  • Farmable: Kais and hidden potential orbs are items you want to use carefully; fortunately, you can save on these items because their hidden potential is unlocked with event-exclusive orbs and you get the units as drop rewards from defeating the bosses. The only exception is their leader unit, but 1 out of 6 is far better than having to farm all 6.
  • Jack-of-All-Trades: supports, sealer, stunner, dodger, health recovery, this team does it all! Making it very versatile for all kinds of events.
  • Power: these units activate nearly all of each other's links, boosting their stats and making it easier to set off their Super Attacks. Couple this with LR Team Bardock’s ki +3 and all stats 120% lead and you got yourself a formidable team.

Recommended Units:

  • Leader: Grand Opening Team Bardock
  • Friend: Grand Opening Team Bardock
  • Battle-Hardened Hero Bardock
  • Total Invasion Tora
  • Infinite Power Borgos
  • Cunning Moves Fasha
  • Ruffian’s Strike Shugesh

4. Transformation Boost

(Credit to YouTuber Havohei for this team)

Transforming Cooler. Need I say more? The only reason this team is not higher is because, relative to the next team, it has a small pool of units and leaders.

  • The ideal leader: aside from providing the team with a 150% boost across the board, transforming Cooler debuffs the opponent with his super attack and  acts as a support with his passive, giving his teammates ki+3 and attack & defense +30% or 50% depending on the circumstances
  • Anniversary units: this team happens to be one that can run both of the LR Blue fusion units, STR Gogeta and TEQ Vegito.
  • Prolonged combat: many of the units here achieve their maximum potential by transforming, so this team is best suited for longer events. They can kick butt in their normal condition, but give them some time and be amazed by what they can achieve. This feature makes them a strong choice for events like Infinite Dragon Ball History.
  • Fully supported: aside from Cooler, this category also has invaluable supports like AGL Turles and Extreme Z-Awakened (EZA) PHY Kid Buu.

Recommended Units

  • Leader: Extreme Ultimate Power Cooler
  • Friend: Extreme Ultimate Power Cooler
  • Ultimate and Invincible Fusion Vegito
  • Ultimate and Supreme Fusion Gogeta
  • Nightmarish Impact Super Saiyan Broly
  • Pursuing Perfection Cell (2nd Form)
  • EZA Heartless Destruction Buu (Kid)

3. Pure Saiyans

If you’ve been playing the game for a while, odds are you can build a solid Pure Saiyans team. The best part is that it can only get better as you play and new units come out.

  • Mono-team potential: this team is versatile in combat, but also in the way that you can make a category team that is also of a single type capable of beating Super Battle Road. SSGSS Evolution Vegeta can be used for an AGL team, transforming Vegeta for a PHY one, and LR SSG Goku for an INT team.
  • Leader pool: There are 3 main leads that will all give your team ki +3 and at least 130% stat boost across the board, but if you don’t have any of them you can farm F2P sub-leaders like Prime Battle Vegeta and Kid Broly.
  • Vast unit pool: between all the Brolys, Gokus, Vegetas, saiyans of Universe 6, among others, there is no way you will fall short of forming a Pure Saiyans team. Moreover, there are enough F2P units available to make your own team. And to top it off, some of the strongest units in the game fall under this category.
  • Support: support units can make (or break if you’re missing them) a team. Luckily, Pure Saiyans has solid supports like Explosive Evolution Turles, Broly & Paragus, or Bardock & Gine.

Recommended Units

  • Leader: Limitless Combat Power Super Saiyan Vegeta
  • Friend: Limitless Combat Power Super Saiyan Vegeta
  • Apex of Supreme Saiyan Power SSJ4 Goku
  • Unrivaled Saiyan’s Peak SSJ4 Vegeta
  • Sign of a Turnaround Goku (Ultra Instinct - Sign)
  • Nightmarish Impact Super Saiyan Broly
  • Troublesome Father and Son Paragus & Broly

2. Kamehameha Category Team

(Credit to DBZ World for this team idea)

Ah, the Ol’ Reliable! Whenever end-game events are updated with new stages like Dokkan Battle Rush or Infinite Dragon Ball History, this is the go-to team tobeat the event for the first time and measure your opponents. The only thing holding it back is the lack of category leaders.

  • Stacking units: This category is so often relied on for end-game events because of units that boost their stats indefinitely with every super attack like their leader LR Super Saiyan Gohan or TEQ Goku Kaioken.
  • Survivability: add health recovery from units like both LRs Goku & Vegeta or LR Perfect Form Cell to a  defense that makes your opponent’s attacks feel like a gentle slap on the hand, and you got yourself a seemingly invincible team.
  • Attack Potential: not only are you able to form an impenetrable defense with this team, but this category also has some of the hardest-hitters in the game like the newly added LR Vegito and LR Gogeta, LR Ultra Instinct Goku, and STR SSBKK Goku. Plus, some of these units also have active skills that deal great damage on top of their super attacks.
  • F2P Alternates: bad luck pulling the units you wanted for your Kamehameha team? Great Saiyaman 4 and Super Saiyan Goku & Gohan are amazing F2P additions to this team because they can tank extremely well thanks to their infinite defensive stack ability through their Super Attacks.

Recommended

  • Leader: Awakened True Power SSJ Gohan (Youth)
  • Friend: Awakened True Power SSJ Gohan (Youth)
  • Ultimate and Invincible Fusion Vegito
  • Ultimate and Supreme Fusion Gogeta
  • Miracle-Calling Clash SSJ Gohan (Teen) & SSJ Goten (Kid)
  • Fused Fighting Force SSJ Goku (Angel) & SSJ Vegeta (Angel)
  • Fused Super Power SSJ Goku & SSJ Vegeta

1. Realm of Gods

(Havohei is the real MVP here)

Just like their name, the units found in this category  make for one heck of a godly team. With many options available and packed with units that hit like a train, you better believe this team will plow right through your opponents. Oh, and did I mention you can show off your brand new LR Blue boys here?

  • Flexible Leadership: unlike Kamehameha, you have several leaders to choose from depending on what you own and/or the stats you prefer to emphasize. Transforming Zamasu, PHY Beerus, and both UI Gokus can be at the helm of this team.
  • Power rotations: you can run Beerus-Whis, anniversary Vegito Blue-Gogeta Blue, Extreme Z-Awakened Vegito Blue-SSBKK Goku, among many other powerful ones. Between their shared links, passives, and base stats their attack potential will pierce through the heavens!
  • Attack Potential: in case you aren’t familiar with some of the faces of this team, let me give you some examples. SSBKK Goku has one of the hardest hitting active skills in the game, if not the hardest. PHY Beerus has the ability to completely nuke Goku in the final phases of his stacking event. Finally, the brand new fusions have immense attack potential and active skills that can end fights quickly. The point is: they will kick anyone’s butt!
  • Incoming Units: with the newly addedLR Goku Rosé , Toppo’s future EZA, and the LR Jiren that has broken the Japanese version, this team has plenty more room to grow!

Recommended

  • Leader: True Power of a God Zamasu
  • Friend: True Power of a God Zamasu
  • Ultimate and Invincible Fusion Vegito
  • Ultimate and Supreme Fusion Gogeta
  • EZA Azure Omnipotence SSGSS Vegito
  • Sign of a Turnaround Goku (Ultra Instinct - Sign)
  • Sacred Power of Time Supreme Kai of Time (Power of Time Unleashed)

A parting message: feel free to try out your own combinations! This game is all about creativity in team building, so don’t limit yourself to these exact teams.
