[Top 10] Dokkan Battle Best Damage Dealers

Dokkan Battle Best Damage Dealers
This list might just blow you away, literally!

Power through those who dare oppose you!

Without a good offense, there’s no way you’ll make it through the game, which is why the developers have been so kind as to add absolute powerhouses for you to use. Today, we’ll be going through the 10 best damage dealers in the game. While your mind may immediately go to nukers (which is not wrong at all), we’re talking about dealing damage consistently and realistically. Not everyone has the right orb changers, supports, and/or ideal linking partners or may even fight long enough to build up their units, which is why I will be doing my best to narrow it down to units that offer plenty of damage while remaining flexible. Let’s go through with the top 10 best damage dealers currently in the international version of DBZ Dokkan Battle.

10. Transcendent Fusion Super Saiyan Gogeta

Let’s kick things off with the mightiest fusion, Gogeta! A perfectly rounded unit that can do it all at just 55%, he is worth investing in if you were thinking of using coins to buy him. He will perform greatly in a variety of teams, just make sure to team him up with other Fusion units for the best results. I personally recommend another Gogeta unit as his partner.

  • Like I said, at 55% of his hidden potential he can dodge, perform additional attacks, and deal critical hits, making him super useful against any and all opponents.
  • In his normal form, his attacks are effective against all types, which makes him a consistently powerful attacker.
  • When transformed, Gogeta turns into an absolute powerhouse as he now deals guaranteed critical hits. This means he bypasses defenses and deals much higher damage than he otherwise would.
  • His linkset is so good that it deserves to be pointed out on its own.
  • Thanks to his high chance to evade and powerful defensive passive boost, he becomes a mighty defender as well.

Details

  • Leader skill "Movie Heroes" Category Ki +3, ATK +170% and HP & DEF +150%; or "Fusion" Category Ki +3, ATK +170% and HP & DEF +130%
  • SA greatly raises ATK for 1 turn and causes immense damage to enemy
  • Passive skill ATK & DEF +100%; attacks effective against all Types; medium chance of evading enemy's attack (including Super Attack); Transform when conditions are met
  • Transformation condition: transform starting from the 5th turn from the start of battle

9. Extreme Ultimate Power Cooler

Representing the villains is the much-loved transforming Cooler. Aside from being a powerful leader that supports his team, he can also plow through enemies on his own. Place him in Transformation boost or Terrifying Conquerors to get the most out of him. Wicked Bloodline category units are among his best partners.

  • His ability to debuff the opponent and strengthen category allies make him a tremendous teammate to have. He truly helps his team shine, but that’s not what we’re here for today...
  • Because this list is about damage dealers, which is where his transformation comes in. With a simple enough condition and alternate option if it can’t be fulfilled, he is not difficult to handle at all.
  • Upon transforming, Cooler reaches his maximum potential. His powerful, even boosts give him both tankiness and power to attack. His ki +3 also makes it super easy to trigger his SA.
  • His transformed SA massively weakens the opponents defense’s, letting Cooler dish out even more punishment.
  • The fact that he launches an additional attack and will perform critical hits against easy-to-find opponents help him hit like a freight train. Be glad he’s on your team.

Details

  • Leader skill: "Terrifying Conquerors" or "Transformation Boost" Category Ki +3, HP +130% and ATK & DEF +170%
  • SA causes immense damage to enemy and lowers ATK & DEF
  • Passive skill ATK & DEF +100%; "Transformation Boost" Category allies' Ki +2 and ATK & DEF +30% when facing only 1 enemy; "Terrifying Conquerors" Category allies' Ki +2 and ATK & DEF +50% when facing 2 or more enemies
  • Transformation conditions: transforms; can be activated when there is a "Pure Saiyans" or "Hybrid Saiyans" Category enemy starting from the 3rd turn from the start of battle, or when facing only 1 enemy starting from the 6th turn from the start of battle (once only)

8. [Extreme Z-Awakened] Azure Omnipotence SSGSS Vegito

Absolutely Yosha!!! An awakening received with open arms by the community thanks to how much good it did for this old unit. Defensively, he is no slouch, but it’s his ability to deal damage that put him in everyone’s radar. Potara and Kamehameha teams are his best options. He will be at his best when paired with other Vegito’s, especially his LR counterpart.

  • His ability to hit multiple times is his main way of dealing damage. With the chance for those attacks to turn into SAs and the fact that he raises his own attack per SA, he can deal tremendous damage in 1 turn alone.
  • He attac, he attac, and he counterattac! His passive also lets him hit back every time an enemy performs a normal attack on him. This can mean a lot of extra damage in events where opponents attack multiple times per slot.
  • Couple it all with his flashy linkset and you got yourself an almighty unit.
  • The fact that he raises his defense and has a 40% damage reduction will help him against some of the toughest opponents in the game.

Details

  • Leader skill: Super Class Ki +4 and HP, ATK & DEF +80%
  • SA greatly raises ATK & DEF for 1 turn and causes immense damage to enemy
  • Passive skill ATK & DEF +40% at start of turn; great chance of launching up to 2 additional attacks, each of which has a medium chance of becoming a Super Attack; damage received from normal attacks -40% and counters with tremendous power
  • 70% chance to launch up to 2 additional attacks (first one is guaranteed), each of which has a 25% chance to become a Super Attack

7. Miraculous Outcome Goku & Frieza

Long-hailed as one of the hardest hitting units in the game since their release, this pair is still running strong in today’s meta. The only reason they don’t place higher is that their passive is increasingly hard to fully activate due to the growing number of bosses with debuff protection. Goku & Frieza will perform greatly in Universe Survival Category and Super TEQ teams.

  • Their amazing linkset makes them very flexible and easy to handle for players of all levels.
  • Although their maximum potential has restrictions, they are not difficult to fulfill thanks to their great ki links and ability to debuff the enemy’s attack for 3 turns.
  • With a maximum passive boost of 231% for their attack coupled with leader skills, links, SA multiplier, and supporting abilities, this card can reach incredible heights in normal battles.

Details

  • Leader skill: "Representatives of Universe 7" Category Ki +3 and HP, ATK & DEF +177%; or TEQ Type Ki +3 and HP, ATK & DEF +90%
  • SA causes colossal damage to enemy and lowers ATK
  • Ultra SA causes mega-colossal damage to enemy and lowers ATK & DEF
  • Passive skill ATK & DEF +77% when attacking; plus an additional ATK +77% when performing an Ultra Super Attack; plus an additional ATK +77% when the target enemy is in "ATK Down" status
  • This boost will only activate if the enemy's ATK has already been lowered at the moment of attacking, either by a Support Item or by another character able to lower ATK

6. Nightmarish Impact Super Saiyan Broly

It only makes sense that a villain known for his ridiculous strength be in the list, right? Like others, this Broly was created to hit hard and fight multiple enemies. I recommend putting him in a Pure Saiyans or Movie bosses team, paired up with another Broly unit.

  • Like I said, he was built to deal with more than one opponent. Thanks to his passive, he can crush events like Super Battle Road and the World Tournament by attacking with his SA multiple times.
  • HIs enemy defense debuff further makes him a dangerous weapon as it allows him to hit even harder with every attack he performs.
  • Broly becomes incredibly strong s when transformed and, fortunately, his transformation condition is one of the simplest in the game.
  • His active skill serves as a guaranteed nuke per battle as it gives him a major attack boost and maxes out his ki multiplier.

Details

  • Leader skill: Resurrected Warriors" Category Ki +4 and HP, ATK & DEF +130%; or Extreme TEQ Type Ki +4 and HP, ATK & DEF +100%
  • SA causes colossal damage and  lowers enemy's DEF
  • Ultra SA causes mega-colossal damage and greatly lowers enemy's DEF
  • Passive skill ATK & DEF +90% when performing a Super Attack, plus an additional ATK +50% if it is an Ultra Super Attack; launches an additional Super Attack when facing 2 or more enemies; Transform when conditions are met
  • Transformation conditions: transform starting from the 4th turn from the start of battle

5. Two Makes the Strongest of All Universes SSJ2 Caulifla & SSJ2 Kale

While not as great a nuker as some of the other units in this list, they still manage to deal a ton of damage without relying too much on their allies. I will admit that they have more restrictions than the rest of the units in the list, but they are not terribly difficult to fulfill. Moreover, they build up their passive with ease. They will shine in a Universe Survival Saga or Universe 6 team when paired with other Kale, Caulifla, and Kefla units.

  • Thanks to the way their passive works, you can take advantage of it to get up to 30% attack boosts per teammate on top of their unconditional boost. This gives them plenty of hitting power.
  • Because their SAs stack defense infinitely, they can become reliable tanks after only a few turns and even more so during lengthy events.
  • Aside from a decent nuking ability, they can perform an additional attack to deal more damage; and if you happen to be fighting against an enemy under one of two specific categories, you can squeeze out an extra super attack. While Universe Survival enemies aren’t super common, Pure Saiyans are and that makes their passive easy  to their fullest.

Details

  • Leader skill: "Joined Forces" Category Ki +4 and HP, ATK & DEF +130%; or Super AGL Type Ki +4 and HP, ATK & DEF +100%
  • SA Raises DEF and causes colossal damage to enemy
  • Ultra SA Raises DEF and causes mega-colossal damage to enemy
  • Raises DEF by 30% for 99 turns
  • Passive skill: ATK & DEF +66% and launches an additional attack; Ki +1 (up to +6) and chance of evading enemy's attack (including Super Attack) +6% (up to 66%) with each attack performed; ATK +10% per "Universe 6", "Joined Forces" or "Pure Saiyans" Category ally on the team; launches an additional Super Attack when there is a "Universe Survival Saga" or "Pure Saiyans" Category enemy

4. Apex of Supreme Saiyan Power SSJ4 Goku

With a passive that has him ready to hit hard from the get-go, this man is a great option for an attacker. Being well-rounded and easy to use and understand, he is a friendly option to beginners and veterans alike.

  • His active skill is one of the  key reasons  he is here. The simple conditions on it and the fact that it’s risk-free damage make it a great tool for you to use. Moreover, if this powerful attack doesn’t end the fight, his next SA will.
  • Using his SA and Ultra SA is super easy because his passive gives him additional ki per AGL and rainbow sphere absorbed. What this means is that he gets 3 ki instead of 1 per rainbow sphere and 4 instead of 2 per AGL absorbed.
  • His great linkset and dual leader skill further makes him a solid unit, teammate, and leader.
  • Lastly, he can be quite tanky after a few turns and even more so after using his SA, which makes him a well-rounded fighter for any team.

Details

  • Leader skill "Goku's Family" Category Ki +3, HP & ATK +170% and DEF +130%; or Super AGL Type Ki +3 and HP, ATK & DEF +120%
  • SA massively raises DEF for 1 turn and causes colossal damage to enemy
  • Ultra SA massively raises ATK & DEF for 1 turn and causes mega-colossal damage to the enemy.
  • Raises DEF by 100% for 1 turn
  • Passive skill ATK +80%; DEF +20% at start of each turn (up to 80%); plus an additional Ki +2 per rainbow or AGL Ki Sphere obtained; medium chance of evading enemy's Super Attack and countering with tremendous power
  • Active skill massively raises ATK temporarily and causes ultimate damage to enemy; can be activated starting from the 4th turn from start of battle (once only)

3. Miracle-Making Super Saiyan SSJ Goku

True to his name, Goku will work miracles for your team through his sheer offensive power. What makes this nuker stand out is his ability to feed himself. He will perform greatly in practically whatever team you put him into. However, for the best results he should be paired with other Super units that fall under both Super Saiyans and Pure Saiyans categories.

  • Nuking is easy for this unit thanks to the fact that he makes rainbow ki spheres AND receives additional ki per sphere absorbed. This means he can consistently hit with his Ultra SA while receiving a solid attack boost.
  • His ki orb changing ability and ability to seal enemy SAs also make him a valuable team player as he can protect his teammates and help feed them ki.
  • Team-building is hardly a problem with him because of his broad leader skill, varied categories, and impressive linkset.

Details

  • Leader skill: "Super Saiyans" Category Ki +4 and HP, ATK & DEF +130%
  • SA greatly raises DEF for 1 turn and causes colossal damage to enemy
  • Ultra SA causes mega-colossal damage to enemy, lowers ATK & DEF and seals Super Attack
  • Lowers enemy's ATK & DEF by 20% for 3 turns
  • Passive skill  ATK & DEF +59%; randomly changes Ki Spheres of a certain Type to rainbow Ki Spheres; plus an additional Ki +2 per rainbow Ki Sphere obtained; ATK & DEF +7% per Ki Sphere obtained, plus an additional ATK +7% per "Super Saiyans" Category ally (self excluded) attacking in the same turn

2. Ultimate and Invincible Fusion Vegito

Back to the 5th anniversary we are. For good reason it is. Join the jedi you mu- .... sorry, wrong fictional universe. Anyways, Vegito shows up once again to be at the top of another list. Everything about this unit is just plain great and I’ll walk you though the biggest of those things. Final Trump Card, Potara, and Kamehameha are all great category team options for him. Couple him with EZA PHY SSGSS Vegito for one of the best 1-2 punches in the game.

  •  Prior to his transformation, this Vegito is well-balanced and self-sufficient thanks to his unconditional +3 ki. He also deals decent damage thanks to an additional attack with the chance to turn into an SA. (A little tip: use his SA as much as possible before transforming because it truly makes a difference).
  • Now let’s get to the real meat of this unit: his transformation. First off, he gains a slightly better unconditional boost that is further amplified after attacking multiple times, which is super easy thanks to his other passive ability. Moreover, he quickly becomes even more self-sufficient with a max of 5 extra ki.
  • Not only does he have an easier time using his SA and dealing more damage per hit, but he gains an additional attack guaranteed to be an SA. Now, that’s a lot of damage!
  • Lastly, you have his active skill which hits harder than a bullet train by giving his damage multiplier a major boost.

Details (Base form)

  • Leader Skill: “Final Trump Card" or "Potara" Category Ki +3 and HP, ATK & DEF +150%
  • SA raises ATK and causes colossal damage to enemy
  • Ultra SA raises ATK and causes mega-colossal damage to enemy
  • Passive skill: ATK & DEF +70%; Ki +3 and launches an additional attack that has a medium chance of becoming a Super Attack when attacking; high chance of evading enemy's attack (including Super Attack) as the 3rd attacker in a turn; Transforms when conditions are met
  • Transformation condition: transforms starting from the 4th turn from the start of battle

1. Ultimate and Supreme Gogeta

I will admit that it was a very difficult choice as to who should be #1 and #2 because they are both just extremely good. Truth is, it came down to minor details in which Gogeta just was a bit more flexible for newer players and dealt damage more consistently in all sorts of events. Final Trump Card, Kamehameha, Fusion, and Movie Heroes are all amazing team options for this card. AGL Super Gogeta will prove to be his best partner, but other Gogetas as well as the Vegito from earlier are also great choices.

  • In his base form Gogeta is practically the same as Vegito, so the same all applies to him, meaning that he is a strong unit just in his normal form alone. The key difference here is that he has the “Prepared for Battle” link, which helps him get more ki, more easily than Vegito.
  • After transforming, Gogeta immediately gets +5 ki, which is a guaranteed SA. He needs to only build up his second passive boosts of attack and defense, which he does quickly resulting in an insanely strong attacker and defender.
  • Although his additional attack is not a guaranteed SA like Vegito, it’s his ability to make his attacks effective against all types that helps him deal massive damage. This means his attacks are not hindered against opponents of his weak type and/or with high defense the same way regular attacks are, allowing him to remain consistent in his damage-dealing.
  • Like Vegito, he too has an active skill meant to finish a fight or bring it near its end.

Details (Base form)

  • Leader Skill: “Final Trump Card" or "Fusion" Category Ki +3 and HP, ATK & DEF +150%

There you have it, your best damage dealers currently in the game that will let you power through your enemies with ease without the need for the perfect team. Just remember not to get hung up on these as there are plenty of hard-hitters in the game; there will always be one that is a perfect fit for your current team.
