If you’re a ranger, like me, you know that finding the perfect bow can be tough, but when you do find one, it’s game over for your enemies! Here I will list some of the best bows and crossbows from most strong to least strong and where to find them!

5. Vord Emver

You will never want to exchange this bow for another one once you get it!

This crossbow is extremely powerful and unique. This is one heavy-hitter with crazy stats and even a skill that comes with it. Make sure not to miss this strong crossbow!

Why Vord Emver is Great:

  • Along with the 132-140 Physical damage, this bow comes with 80-84 Water damage
  • It has 5% Critical Change and does 155% Critical Damage
  • It gives you 3 points in Finesse, 2 in Huntsman and 1 in Ranged
  • This bow has a chance to set your enemies frozen for two turns
  • It has an addition of 5% Accuracy and 20% Life Steal
  • Along with all of these amazing stats, this bow Grants you with the skill Cryotherapy

  • Past Mistakes is a quest that will lead you to this powerful Crossbow
  • Once you kill Karon, the mistake, and the minions around him, loot the bodies around the battlefield which will give you Vord Emver

This elven bow with an aura of energy turns your enemies into a flimsy puppet. Powerful as it is, it will help you dominate the battlefield!

Why Into Thin Air is Great:

  • This bow alone does 130-158 Physical Damage
  • It has a 10% Critical Chance along with 160% Critical Damage
  • It will give you 3 points in Finesse and 3 points in Memory
  • Into Thin Air sets Erratic Wisp, Floating and Weak for one turn

  • Can be bought from the NPC male Unarmed Elf within Arx at the Academy

3. Shadow’s Eye

This Crossbow is as cool as its name!

A bow that looks as if it were crafted from the shadows. It is cold to the touch and surrounds you in black mist when held. 

Why Shadow’s Eye is Great:

  • Along with the 20 - 21 Physical Damage, Shadow’s Eye does 8-11 Piercing Damage
  • It has 5% Critical Chance and can do 155% in Critical Damage
  • Shadow’s Eye grants you with 25% Accuracy
  • It also comes with the skill Chameleon Cloak

How To Get Shadow’s Eye:

  • This bow requires you to have Ifan in your party
  • Head to the merchant, Zaleskar, in the Hollow Marshes, and he will give you the bow
  • Make sure to let Ifan talk first
  • If you have Sebille in your party, make sure to have some points in persuasion

2. Morning’s Light

With this bow, you will find the light in every battle!

Corbin Day’s trusty bow, Morning’s Light, is magnificent! Crafted and detailed by hand, this bow has excellent stats and is unique!

  • This bow does 93-115 Physical Damage
  • It comes with 155% Critical Damage
  • Morning’s Light has 2 points in Finesse, one in Ranged and another in Huntsman
  • This bow sets Marked for one turn

How To Get Morning’s Light:

  • During Act 2, you will find an NPC named Corbin Day at the Livewood Sawmill
  • You can either free Corbin, and he will give you the bow
  • Or you can invite him to Lady Vengeance, kill him and you will get Morning’s Light
  • It is advised that you do not kill him because he can level up your weapons once on Lady Vengeance

This bow will not leave you unsatisfied! It has excellent Critical Damage and is a very good award from the ridding of your enemies! It is very easy to miss, so make sure to pay attention to where you can find it!

  • This bow does 30-45 Physical Damage
  • It has 160% Critical Damage
  • It also sets Evading!

How To Get Assassin’s Bow:

  • Make sure to have the Red Prince in your party!
  • Just outside of Stonegarden, you will get ambushed by archers
  • Do not kill all of your enemies, but instead pickpocket them because their bodies will disappear when they die
  • You will then get the Assassin’s Bow!
