I've talked alot about Star Wars recently and today I'm giving you the best Star Wars Games For PS4 and PS5. All of the games mentioned are available on both the PS4 and PS5 on their store,most have been remastered or just brought back. So for anyone who didn't know about these games or just switched to PlayStation this top 10 will be informative. If you're someone who reads My content you'll remember some of these. 

10. Star Wars bounty hunter

Year Released November 19th, 2002 (PlayStation 2,GameCube, PlayStation 4)

The story, which is set in the Star Wars Legends expanded universe, follows former Mandalorian warrior Jango Fett in his prime as a bounty hunter. It gives the backstory to the character's part in Attack of the Clones. Also it explains several plot points from the movie, including how he got his iconic ship, Slave I, met his crime partner, Zam Wesell, and was selected as the genetic model for the Grand Army of the Republic.

What's interesting about the gameplay is that we get to see all the gadgets and tools jango has at his disposal. We also get to see how capable he is without the jetpack and blasters, understanding why he was ultimately chosen to be the template for the grand army. 

In my opinion even though this game is considered legends material It still has value and importance. The story that's being told lets players or fans understand the character behind the mask and why he does what he does. During the game he talks about how settling down and finding someone can't happen in his line of work, later in the movies we see boba Fett i just makes jango more human. 

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• Expanded Star Wars Lore
• Single player action
• First or third person gameplay 

The features for the game include his trademark blaster pistols, a flamethrower, and jetpack-mounted missiles. They also include the scanner built into his helmet to identify individuals, the use of his acrobatic abilities like somersaulting, and jumping to the side to backflip avoiding enemies.

Fun Factor Score : 97/100

Jango Is on nar Shaddaa looking for something or someone. He always has his unique blaster and jet pack full of fuel for any tricky situation a bounty might cause.

9. Star Wars starfighter

Year Released January 21st, 2002 (PlayStation 2, Xbox, Microsoft Windows, Arcade, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4)

In the game, the player controls different starfighters from the Star Wars universe. The player is given full control over pitch, yaw and roll of the fighter also. The player has information on ammunition and enemy targets displayed on their HUD. You can issue commands to squadmates, which are displayed on the HUD as well. Lastly The game features 14 missions both in atmosphere and in space.

What's interesting about this is how all the starfighters and areas are places from the movies. At the time the game was released it was great to command your squadmates and feel like you're in one of the movies. 

In my opinion I feel the game could have more missions and better graphics but the playstation 4 version did alright with it. The added music whenever going into battle is top notch bringing tracks from the movies and more new ones.

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• The pre sequels and their starships 
• Starship games that have majority of the battle in space or the atmosphere
• Hearing the classic sounds from star wars 

The features for this game include three unique starfighters: the sleek Naboo starfighter, nimble Guardian Mantis and lethal Havoc. You can engage in over 14 challenging missions to save Naboo: deep space dogfights, attack runs, escort missions, and more. Lastly, explore vast environments that take you deep into Star Wars worlds: from enormous open plains of Naboo to the furthest reaches of space to the interior corridors of the Droid Control Ship.

Fun Factor Score : 74/100

Being able to fly a jedi starfighter like shown here is one of the best reasons to play this game. Though you won't be swinging any lightsabers around. 

8. Star Wars squadron

Year Released October 2nd 2020 (Windows, Xbox one, Playstation 4, Xbox series , Playstation 5)

5 pilots, 1 squadron, the galaxy's finest. Join them as they take on missions in the most chaotic battlefields. This is a third or first person starfighter game that brings a better experience to space battles as a whole in star wars. This game is perfect for living your star wars pilot dream.

What's interesting and fun as you can see from the trailer are the sound effects and cockpit view. It's always fun going in with your squad as if it were one of the films. (or you could just make up your own story)

In my opinion It is fun to be able to master most of the main ships we see in the films. It's also good having controls that allow you to fly with precision for those close calls you may encounter.The VR mode is good for wanting to feel like you're sitting right there. It also has a 360 display when in VR so players can look around the entire cockpit.

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• Small 5v5 battles that don't take long
• If you like flying more than you do ground assaults
• Experiencing the same thing the pilots do.

Key features for this game that I found were the New Republic and Imperial fleets fighting in strategic 5v5 space battles. Being able to modify your starfighter, and adjust the composition of your squadron to suit varying playstyles and crush the opposition. Lastly Pilots will triumph as a team and complete tactical objectives across known and never-before-seen battlefields. 

Fun Factor Score : 87/100

This tie fighter pilot is one of many who needs to defend that star destroyer. As you can tell by the radar he is surrounded by enemies and friends. 

7. Star Wars The force Unleashed 2

Year Released October 26th 2010 (iOS, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii)

Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 takes place after the first game and gives the player a fresh story while still staying true to the first game. (while still keeping a few secrets) Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. 

What's interesting about the gameplay is the force lightning. Anytime Starkiller uses it you can tell just how powerful those attacks are. Not to mention you can basically take down anything with strong enough lighting from Walkers to Shadow troopers. 

In my opinion this game really does a good job when it comes to displaying the powers of the force. The lightsaber combat is not innovative but its still decent with boss battle being not as challenging.(meaning your swing will actually connect and not miss, not saying the game is easy) 

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• Being able to use different lightsaber colors. Like already mentioned there are a bunch of colors that all have different effects, you can even combine colors for example orange on one side black on the other,
• Storytelling and nostalgia. This game takes you to some iconic places in the films such as Kamino, and Bespin while giving you an interesting story to follow that is different from the main.

The key features for this game lets you continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV. Unleash the Force with more power and precision through improved controls and new powers, such as the deceptive Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their allies.

Fun Factor Score : 88/100

Starkiller is on the search for general (now known as just) kota but during his adventure imperial troops interrupt his every attempt. Lighting seems to be the only thing that works on these guys..

6. Star Wars Battlefront 2 EA

Year Released November 16th 2017 (Windows, Xbox one Xbox series, Playstation 4, Playstation 5) 

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Is a first and third person shooter adventure RPG that lets you experience battles as a common soldier or your favorite hero on an open and realistic battlefield. Take the battle to the ground or space, use upgrades to gain an edge on multiplayer or just have a fun time with your friends in co-op mode.There is a campaign that is very good and canon to the star wars disney universe. 

What's interesting about this game is how you can create your own multiplayer adventures with your teammates. For example if you play as the first order and you and another teammate have the flametrooper you can go into a command post together and take it. (roleplaying them for the game)  

In my opinion this game after the MAJOR fixes is completely underlooked. Games modes like supremacy, galactic assault, and Starfighter assault can keep a hardcore fan interested for hours. You can play as the republic and choose your favorite clone skin or play as a commando not to mention there's hero modes as well. 

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• Experience star wars battles as if you were there. Battlefront 2 does a great job on world design and makes you feel how intense and big the world is.
• To play as your favorite hero or villain. Game modes such as hero versus villains you can face off in epic 1v1 combat.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 lets you customize and upgrade your heroes, starfighters or troopers - each with unique abilities to exploit in battle. Ride TaunTauns or take control of tanks and speeders. Use the Force to prove your worth against iconic characters like Kylo Ren, Darth Vader or Han Solo, as you play a part in a gaming experience inspired by forty years of timeless Star Wars films.

Fun Factor Score : 91/100 

This multiplayer match on Naboo was during the beta, a lot has changed though the map looks the same. 

5. Lego Star Wars series

Year Released April 5th 2022 (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S)

Play through all nine Skywalker saga films in a game unlike any other. With over 300 playable characters, over 100 vehicles, and 23 planets to explore, a galaxy far, far away has never been more exciting. 

What's interesting about this game are the open world mechanics.It's fun to be able to walk around and see more of the planets we've seen before and complete quests that give a bit of context to the world and adds fun. 

In my opinion playing it is fun to use the current characters of the star wars universe as this game gets updates whenever something new drops.Getting to play as the bad batch or even the squad from rogue one brings nostalgia and something to look forward to.

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• All nine star wars films. You can play every film in order or in your own way it's up to you.
• Lego games that feel like a first person shooter. With the new mechanics characters with blasters get sometimes you forget its a lego game.
• Open Worlds. Players can explore the worlds there and explore the space above. When in your ship you can fly in space and go to different planets without having to fast travel. 

Some Key features for this game include Immersive Player Experiences, Upgradable Character Abilities, and being able to play as Iconic Heroes and Villains.

Fun Factor Score : 95/100 

On Kamino Obi-Wan was tasked to figure out why the clone army was created. What he found when he arrived he couldn't believe.

4. Star Wars Jedi knight : Jedi academy

Year Released September 16th, 2003 (Mac OS X,Microsoft Windows, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4)

Similar to Jedi Outcast, the game combines hack and slash action with shooter aspects, allowing players to use blasters, lightsabers, and a range of Force abilities. The player character is a Force-user who has access to Force powers in addition to their lightsaber in both single-player and multiplayer (s). 

What's interesting to me are the powers from the Star Wars world including push, pull, jump, heal, lightning, and other skills. Each Force strength has three ranks, with each rank increasing the power's effectiveness. They are divided into core, Light Side, and Dark Side categories.

in my opinion this game is the definition of what lightsaber battles wanted to be.(at the time)The different options you have when choosing a lightsaber and what your character looks like (in multiplayer) lets you join the star wars universe during a time after the return of the jedi. 

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• Lightsaber combat that real
• Third person action 
• Multiplayer 1v1’s 

The features for this game include customizing lightsaber and Force powers, modifying Jaden's appearance, choosing their species, gender and clothing. Jedi Academy also features a multiplayer mode that allows players to compete in several different game modes online or over a local area network.

Fun Factor Score : 92/100

Rancor are not usually nice to their victims; they attack or eat whatever they can find. This jedi just so happens to be in the same area so this can only go two ways.

3.  Star Wars Jedi knight 2 : Jedi outcast

Year Released  March 26th, 2002 (Microsoft Windows, OS X, GameCube, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4)

The game is a sequel to 1997's Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, and the third main installment in the Star Wars: Jedi Knight series. The game begins with Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors investigating a supposedly abandoned Imperial outpost on Kejim, finding it to be crawling with Imperial forces. An enraged Kyle travels to the Valley of the Jedi (a major plot element in Dark Forces II) to regain his Force powers, and then to the Jedi Academy to reclaim his lightsaber, which he had left with Luke Skywalker.

What's interesting about this game is that you play as a jedi who doesn't have ties to the temple or really advertises being strong with the force. Like he says he's just a guy with a lightsaber and blaster. The gameplay for its time is good and still has its moments to this day. 

In my opinion Star wars jedi outcast tells a good story and adds puzzles and challenges making it fun and not boring (though you might rage at times) The combat system is also good being able to use blasters or grenades. (those who played this before know how important grenades are in this game) 

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• A single player based story 
• Using dark side and light side powers without switching characters 
• Seeing what takes place after return of the jedi even if it is legends material 

Game features include three lightsaber styles; fast, medium and strong. There are also a number of combos, many of which are unique to the selected saber style. Lastly there are also numerous powers unique to both Light and Dark sides. As in the previous games, Light Side powers are mainly focused around protection and healing, while Dark Side powers are openly aggressive. 

Fun Factor Score : 86/100 

Kyle has his work cut out for him with this imperial base, but then again he's always disrupting the empire somehow. This lighting attack is just one destination on how.

2.  Star wars Republic Commando

Year Released March 1st 2005 (Xbox, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4)

While this game is old there are remastered versions on the newest consoles. Republic Commando is a single player first person shooter that takes you on a journey in the eyes of the delta squad leader as you lead your team and make tactical choices on secret missions during the clone wars era. 

What's interesting about this game is how It preludes episode 3. We don't get to see much of what happens in the clone wars besides the tv show and the films so getting to experience a clone commando team is definitely fun and a new take. 

Some of the fun parts of the game I found was controlling your team's actions. There is a menu on your screen that lets you tell your team how to engage a situation which is fun because you don't have to do the same thing for every engagement.

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• Small squad games. Republic Commando only focuses on the 4 man team that's away from the main battlefield.
• Complex strategy. You will really need to have plans and use tactics as a team to accomplish your mission.
• Clone Commandos. Each character has their own uniqueness about them and comes with different skills. For any player who wants to know what it's like to play and see how they do, you need to play it.

The features for this include an Innovative Squad Control System with intuitive and smart squad commands. (the simple touch of one button easily controls your squad to perform complex commands) lastly a multiple gaming mode which has a multiplayer option that lets you play with up to sixteen players online in different multiplayer modes. 

Fun Factor Score : 96/100

Sev, Scorch and Fives don't really like the idea or plan that is being laid out but they care for the republic more.

1. Star Wars Fallen Order 

Year Released November 15th 2019 (PlayStation 4,Windows,Xbox One,Stadia,PlayStation 5,Xbox Series X/S)

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is a third-person action-adventure title.This narratively driven, single-player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. 

What's interesting is the lightsaber combat and force abilities and how they are handled. This is the first Star Wars game where you actually feel how powerful your lightsaber is. Another interesting thing are the new worlds that they introduce, most of the maps are so big you need to play the game twice to find everything.(I've mentioned this in another article)

In my opinion when playing the game I felt like a jedi on the run. Every attack made with the lightsaber felt real and impactful. Other than that the gameplay is still top notch and the graphics and lightsaber builds makes this fun even for newcomers.

Choose This Game If You Like : 

• Single Player Action. Without a doubt this game is single player only which is good for those who would rather play alone. 
• Experiencing new star wars stories that are canon. The story that you follow ties into the films by showing what others like Cal were doing during the rise of the empire without breaking continuity. 
• Star Wars The clone Wars. One of the worlds you go to illum is the exact world you see in the clone wars that yoda took those padawans to when they got their first crystals. 

The game features include Cinematic, Immersive Combat, a new Jedi story, and a whole galaxy to explore. Ancient forests, windswept rock faces and haunted jungles are all unique biomes and with the innovative lightsaber combat system there are hours of fun to be found. 

Fun Factor Score : 92/100

Cal has never met a shadow trooper until this, but this trooper has trained for an encounter like this his entire military career.
