10. Ancients’ Oath

Ancients’ Oath proves itself as a powerful weapon for thorns-based builds, offering a range of strategic benefits. The weapon's synergy with the Steel Grasp skill, a central component for thorns Barbarians, is particularly noteworthy. With Ancients’ Oath, the skill gains the ability to launch two additional chains, delivering not only additional damage but also slowing down enemies. This feature proves invaluable for gathering foes efficiently and applying the Vulnerable status.

Furthermore, Ancients’ Oath provides extra ranks to Steel Grasp, elevating both its damage output and range. This enhancement empowers Barbarians to pull in a greater number of enemies and deal more significant damage with each execution. The weapon's capacity to increase damage specifically against vulnerable enemies aligns seamlessly with the strategic use of skills like Steel Grasp, Flay, and Upheaval, creating a cohesive and potent damage synergy.

Notably, Ancients’ Oath's high base damage and attack speed make it an optimal choice for the Frenzy skill, another integral component of thorns Barbarian builds. Frenzy, known for enabling swift attacks and stacking damage and movement speed, benefits significantly from Ancients’ Oath, enhancing each hit's damage and expediting the stacking of Frenzy.

In summary, Ancients’ Oath emerges as a versatile and impactful weapon for thorns-focused builds, particularly for Barbarians who prioritize Steel Grasp and Frenzy as their primary skills. To employ Battle Trance effectively, it's imperative to cultivate a high critical strike chance and maintain a potent damage output. Additionally, integrating skills that synergize seamlessly with Frenzy is essential for optimal performance. Skills like Lunging Strike facilitate rapid engagement with enemies while generating fury. Overkill is a unique two-handed mace tailored for Barbarians, specifically enhancing the Death Blow skill—a potent strike with the unique ability to reset its cooldown upon slaying an enemy. Overkill's distinctive effect takes Death Blow to the next level by creating a shockwave that inflicts a percentage of its base damage on nearby enemies. Notably, enemies meeting their demise to this shockwave also trigger a cooldown reset for Death Blow. This makes Overkill an exceptionally formidable weapon, particularly suited for builds centred around leveraging Death Blow as the primary damage source, such as the One-Shot One-Kill build.

To wield Overkill effectively, it's crucial to boast a substantial damage output and a high critical strike chance.
