About - Darragh Collopy: Darragh has been writing since about the time he was old enough to hold a pencil. He was never good at drawing but learned early on that he could craft a tale with words and became somewhat obsessed with the very concept of the story. This infatuation carried him to a degree in Media and Communication studies and he spent a lot of his teens and twenties as the singer/songwriter/bass player in a number of bands. A love of story also pulled him into the world of gaming. He considers Shining Force, an RPG on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis, an experience that changed his view of the world, awakening a love affair with fantasy that has never since dimmed. From fantasy books (David Gemmell) and fantasy movies (Willow) he also found the time to immerse himself wholly in the world of Marvel comics and now, as a nominal adult, he is fascinated with anything with apocalyptic overtones with current favourite games including Rimworld and The Long Dark and he turns his accomplished writing technique to sharing his passion for all things Geek.
